The Jade Dragon King

It's been a few days since the Governor-General visited, everyone returned to their usual routines.

"Finally got my good ol pal back." Bikou put his now repaired magic staff on his shoulder.

"Congrats, It's good that you won't whine anymore because your staff isn't here." Cao Cao congratulated his friend and at the same time, threw a jab.

"I ain't whining,!" Bikou snapped, "You know what? Why not settle this with a spar? It's been a long time since I kicked your ass." The Future Monkey King offered while twirling his staff.

Cao Cao snorted but still summoned his spear and entered a stance.

"It's on!"

"They're your disciples Wukong?" A lazy yet majestic voice asked.

"Indeed they are, Yu-Long." The Monkey King turned to his dear friend.

Floating beside him is a large green asian dragon with red eyes.

"You found a gem. A hero descendant with that True Longinus? This is the first time." The partner of Sun Wukong in his Journey to Buddhahood, the Jade Dragon Yu-Long, praised.

As one of the Five Dragon Kings, Yu-Long himself doesn't associate much with the outside world, unless Sun Wukong asked him.

That's his life along with others, their journey had already ended after all.

"An unpolished gem, he may have the True Longinus but that does not mean he'll awaken its true power." Sun Wukong corrected his friend.

Yu-Long snorted and turned to watch as the two disciples of the Monkey King fought each other.

Despite being at a young age, he can see that the two of them are brimming with potential.

"Hmm?" The Jade Dragon's eyes flickered, "He's close to awakening his bloodline."

Sun Wukong didn't reply but he knows full well that the dragon is talking about Cao Cao.

The blood of the Chinese Warlord courses through his veins as his descendant. The question is, what will be that talent? Even Sun Wukong can't answer that.

After all, the original Cao Cao is not a spearman. It's hard to say if Cao Cao's talent on spearmanship is inherited from his ancestor or his own.

If it's his own talent…

"Wukong, what are you going to do after training him?" Yu-Long's voice snapped him from his thoughts.

"That's not up to me but to him, he holds his own fate and he'll be the one to carve it." The Monkey King answered the Dragon King with a blow of his pipe.

Cao Cao's dream is to find people like him and create a group but unfortunately, that will be hard considering the strain relationships from various pantheons.

"By the way, when will you introduce that hero disciple of yours to others? I'm sure that Nezha would be interested in him. He might even teach him" The Mischievous Dragon inquired.

Nezha, the Hero of Battles was once a human that ascended and became a Buddha. He and Cao Cao are similar in terms of fighting style that relies on spear and intuition, so him being his teacher would be beneficial.

"Indeed, they'll follow soon enough, I did inform them of Cao Cao's Sacred Gear after all." The Monkey King said with a grin.

Yu-Long shook his head, Sun Wukong still had his bad personality even in his old age.

Looking back at the fight, the two of them continue watching.

"Just give up already bud, I'm more skilled than you in Senjutsu." Bikou taunted while attacking with his magic staff.

"Tell you, why not stand down to not further embarrass yourself." Cao Cao responded on his own while parrying his attacks

It's been a few minutes since their battle started, at first they were equals but Bikou started attacking Cao Cao from distance with his staff imbued with Touki thus not allowing him to close their distance.

'The retraction speed of his staff is fast, he could easily retract it back if I get closer.' The Hero Descendant thought his analysis.

The weight of Ryu Jingu Bang is already troublesome for him, add that with Touki then the chances of him will go higher!

'I need to disarm him.' The Hero Descendant narrowed his eyes.

Bikou saw this and jumped back.

"Extend Nyoi-Bo!" Extending his Touki imbued staff on Cao Cao, Bikou shouted.

Seeing the incoming staff, instead of dodging, Cao Cao blocked with his spear.

*BOOM!*

A loud shockwave resounded through the battlefield that sent dust and sand everywhere, blocking their sight.

Despite this, Bikou was unmoved and used his Senjutsu to detect Cao Cao's aura across the smoke screen. He won't believe that it's over like that.

And as he thought of it, a spear passed through the smoke, going in Bikou's direction intending to skewer him.

"Crap!" Hurriedly retracting back his staff. Bikou dodged the attack but as soon as it passed through him, it disappeared.

Sensing something from above him, he hurriedly put his staff above with his arms, blocking the attacker.

*BOOM!*

Another shockwave appeared from the result of two mighty weapons clashing.

The shockwave eliminated the dust around them revealing Bikou blocking Cao Cao's spear with its shaft.

"That's pretty tricky." Bikou forced a smirk, despite having a hard time blocking Cao Cao, he sure is enjoying this.

"I prefer to call it a strategy." Cao Cao didn't care about Bikou and jumped back, creating a distance for them.

After separating, Bikou tapped his magic staff on his shoulder and asked, "You fooled my Senjutsu for a while, what is that?"

The Hero descendant smirked but said nothing.

In reality, what he did is just a simple application of Ki. By spreading his own Ki throughout the battlefield, it created a decoy that would be mistaken by Senjutsu due to them possessing his aura.

It was a cheap trick and can only work temporarily, after all, he can't sustain it for too long without wasting his own.

The smokescreen helped earlier too as it blocked Bikou's sight urging him to use Senjutsu to look for him.

Seeing this, the Future Monkey King shrugged. He didn't mind, this was a battle after all.

"That was a good battle, both of you." Turning both of their heads, they saw their master with a dragon beside him walking towards them.

"Y-Yu-Long?!" Bikou pointed his finger at the green dragon.

Yu-Long narrowed his eyes and stared at the Monkey Youkai pointing at him.

"It's Great Dragon King Yu-Long for you brat, and why are you so shocked?"

"Bullshit! Why are you even here? Don't you just spend your time sleeping your ass off?"

Bikou retorted.

Sun Wukong laughed at their interaction. The good way to deal with the lazy personality of Yu-Long is indeed to have him face Bikou.

Cao Cao also chuckled but cleared his throat. He didn't want to look disrespectful.
