I conjured mana and used it to power this sentence:
"Feel the weight of the sky," I said and it worked.
"I surely can feel the weight, but it's much weaker than the actual sky"
"So with enough affinity and strong symbolism, it's possible to replicate, legendary events or powers, but they are much weaker than the real thing," I said, taking an imaginary note in my head.
It reminds me of a certain magic system.
"I will call this new branch of magic, magicraft." I declared. I almost forgot.
"The sky shall fly to the moon and the weight shall reside."
" Thank you," Atlas said.
I felt a bit, guilty for forgetting about the weight I put on Atlas for a bit, so I walked to my clone, and took a cup amount of sap from it, as a drop would be too little for a Titan as big as Atlas, and said:
"Here take this."
"My lord, didn't you say you would only give your legacy to the ones you can trust?"
"I think I can trust you. Consider it as a token of friendship from me."
"Yes, my lord."
Atlas quickly drank. He became much bigger and I could tell he became much stronger by just looking.
"Congratulations on becoming a god-king, my son."
"Thank you mother, and thank you, my lord."
"You are welcome."
God kings were basically pseudo primordials and were the peak of power to Greek gods.
I wondered how strong Atlas, truly became. Before even without being a god-king, I guessed he could fight toe to toe with one.
"I am curious. What is that aura-like thing you have Atlas?"
"That's touki, which is basically my own vitality. I heard this power is much more commonly used in the East. Carrying the whole weight of the sky was an exercise that tested the limits of my body and I ended up awakening it."
Hearing this familiar word I guessed I was really in DxD.
"How can I awaken it?"
" There were three ways I heard that can be used to awaken it. Your body overcoming its highest limit, by awakening natural energy, a method that only the youkai's in the east could help you, or somebody using their own touki to awaken it."
"Can you help me awaken it?" I asked.
"Yes, my lord."
"Thank you."
For me to truly awaken touki, I needed to awaken it on my true body or my clone, not on my avatar.
So Atlas, let his touki into my clone, and soon I could feel the vitality in it.
Awakening touki was a bit painful at the start, but it was quite relaxing later.
I used the connection between my clone and my true body to awaken it in my real body as well. I could feel my senses growing much stronger.
"Where was I? Ow, the inheritance text."
I quickly used my connection to the Sky Island, to sharply change its form.
From the soil, a stair of one hundred degrees grew and a text in ancient Greek started to be written at them:
'The stronger the mortal the bigger the sky;
The higher the degree the bigger the sky;
Thou shall feel the weight of the sky'
That was the first test: the weight of the sky. Quite a cliche test, but I thought it was practical. One should pass through the stairs to reach the second test: the sky seal. On the entrance, there was a moon carved with the following text:
'Thou power shall become one with the moon,
Thou connection with the moon shall be severed.
Thou's power shall be given to the stone warrior.'
The test would take away the participant's power(mana) and use it to power a stone warrior with the joints. The only weakness I let in the stone warrior was on the neck, joints, and head.
After passing this test, the door to the next chamber would be open and the power return to the warrior, in the door I scripted:
'Door closed until the warrior of stone fall,
Thou connection with the moon shall return,
Thou power connection with the moon shall be severed,
Thou connection with the moon shall be severed.'
The following chamber would be a temple dedicated to me with the legend of my birth carved in the stone. In the center there was a statue of my avatar naked replicating a renascence statue.
There weren't any visible doors. I made the wall a hidden door. I made it so there was space inside the wall that worked as a hidden carving, where it was written:
' The wall shall be unbroken and shall open a path only when devotion is given to Ouranos II.'
I called it the test of devotion.
As the walls give way the challenger, finds a hidden chamber where my clone body can be found.
I carved a message that would notify me when someone reached there.
I carved a lot of auxiliary texts to prevent people from cheating like forbidding flight; one from climbing anywhere, but the stairs; forbidding teleportation, and so on...
Around the central area on the island where the test was performed, I made a large forest to grow. The fauna of the flying island consists only of worms for now, but I hope it will get more diverse with some birds taking the area as their some.
I kept myself for a long time with this for my own amusement. I should focus on something more important building a force around myself.
I may have been able to intimidate the moon gods to acquaintance with my rule because I could sever their connection with the moon and was much stronger than them. I did not know what schemes all these gods could have, after all, some may be greedy about gaining the sovereignty of the moon.
It would be troublesome if I was made into some form of world enemy by several pantheons.
There was someone I was thinking of recruiting, so I focused my senses around and I found it.
