Medic Hall

Edward stood in the middle of Colosseum, His blood pumping madly from his heart as he laugh

"Ha ha ha ha"

Even his bloody left hand didn't bother him one bit, He was feeling high from all the power he just realized that he has.

Knowing that he has the power and Experiencing the power is different after all.

He felt like he could take a whole world with this power and emerge victorious with a bit of room to spare.

Edward looked toward Dave unconscious body, He was carried by the staff out of the Colosseum arena

Edward was quite disappointed toward Dave, He thought he can take more punched than that, but reality is different from expectation, Dave was down with only a punch from him.

Realizing that Edward became even more excited, He can't wait to have another match coming right up.

"Sir Edward, If you please come follow me to the medic hall, your hand seems to need medical attention right now.

He was awaken from his high feeling by the staff warning.

Edward looked at his left hand, It was a sight to behold.

He could see his knuckle duster broke and all his finger except for his thumb is broken, His left hand basically useless for the reminder of the tournament, but worst of all is the pain that comes assaulting him along with realization how fucked up he was

"Fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk"

With his left-hand convincing to treat him like a war hero with no room for debate, Edward follow the staff to the medic hall.

He walked alongside the staff who is carrying Dave unconscious body to the medic room.

It doesn't take long to reach their destination.

They entered and Edward could see the hall was big room, It could contain 30 patient with more room to spare.

Edward could see the previous contestant in it, Hain was lying unconsciously on the bed.

"Mr. Edward please come this way"

The staff brought him to meet a man in his thirty, He was a laid back looking man with a green hair and an amber eyes, He wore a pristine white clothes with some kind of badge on its chest area

The badge looks like some kind of turtle sheel with a color of white.

"Alright kid let's see what's your problem"

"This is my problem"

Edward show the man his bloody left hand while trying hard not to look at it.

'Wow, kid what did you do to your poor hand?"

"Well, not much only my left hand had a date with a hammer head and the kiss is so passionate, it leaves a lifetime mark on it.

Edward trying to joke around to ease the mood, and to avert being called idiot for his stupid action.

No one is like to be called idiot after all.

"Well, kid no kidding, it must be quite passionate kiss to make your hand to look like that"

The doctor is kind enough to go along with his joke and not to point Edward idiocy to his face, It was enough to get the doctor into his good book.

"Okay kid it's gonna be hurt so bite into this cloth while I am treating you"

Edward follow the doctor instruction and bite into the cloth.

The doctor take Edward hand and start treating him

First, He took off the knuckle duster from Edward hand, the pain resulted make him wince a bit after that, the doctor cleanse the blood with clear water before finally working with his finger.

He straighten all Edward fingers, the procedure almost made Edward faint if not for him experiencing an even greater pain from an even greater idiocy in the past.

Finish with straightening Edward finger the doctor starts to work on the final procedure of the treatment.

He touched Edward left hand and concentrate, Edward could see green aura appears from the doctor hand, and Edward wound start to close bit by bit until it was all healed.

The procedure took no more than five minutes to finish, and Edward stared at his healed left hand in wonder.

He move his finger around and it didn't hurt anymore

"Thank you, doc, it's as good as new"

"Of course who do you think I am, Your injuries is nothing for a first class healer like me now kid let me see your other hand"

"My other hand?"

Edward is confused, why would the doctor ask for his other hand, but as a patient it was his duty to follow the doctor instruction, so he showed his right hand to the doctor.

The doctor, and Edward looked at the right hand, it was badly damaged.

Edward could see the purple colored hand and along with it the much too late pain assaulted him.

"Fuck"

"Yeah, Kid you better stop punching things the way you do if you still love your hand"

The doctor starts to treat his right hand and it got healed in no time at all.

"Alright, kid some world of advice from me I know it was quite obvious, but you better stop whatever you are doing to make both of your hand badly damaged like that"

"But what will I do if I can't use my hand, my next fight is just around the corner"

"Well, one or two fight is fine I suppose, but you better find change your fighting style, or you will only hurt yourself if you continue using it"

Edward could only fall silent after hearing the doctor advice, He didn't know what to do his life experience didn't teach how to deal with his current situation

"Hey kid from what I see you invested a lot of points in your strength"

"Yeah, you are right doctor"

"Stop calling me doctor, call me Fred and as you can see from my badge, I am Arbos Adherent"

"Arbos Adherent, what is that?"

"Oh my god, We hell hole have you crawled from, you didn't know Arbos Adherent"

"Well, you can say I am quite a sheltered person"

Basically we are people who help Arbos warrior and fight alongside them, you know about Arbos right"

Edward nod his head, at least he knew that much.

"Okay, continue on Arbos warrior or usually known as the hunter kill the beast known as the demon in the frontier, and we the Arbos Adherent help them either by healing them or by killing demon alongside them"

"We recruit people from all over the world and train them in the Arbos Temple teaching all we know about art of healing and killing demon before sending them to the frontier to hunt for demons"

"What are you doing here than, why aren't you at the frontier"

"Well, the higher ups send me here from frontier to teach the new recruit, but then I got called today for treating the tournament participant you are lucky kid, usually, it cost a lot to heal your hand"
