Status Window?

Here we go again, the cycle of life continue.

I wake up, checked my phone, gets up, head to the bathroom, clean myself, get dressed, have breakfast, went to my room again and start organising my bag. Should've done this last night but stayed up kinda late to play video games with friends, for old time sake, since the day after that i will start attending college as a freshman.

I quit my hardcore gaming life so i could focus on my future and luckily, i wasn't late. I managed to secure a spot in a decent college not too far from home.

At first, I planned on being a professional gamer, but that dream seems unreachable. I have no skill whatsoever and the only notable thing is my persistence, grinding everyday without a miss even though I'm terrible.

After i received some rather harsh lecturing from my parents, I quit that life and start falling in love with MMORPG. Nothing crazy, just playing it for fun and totally didn't make my PC runs 24 hours so my in game character could grind using the auto mode.

Anyway, i should get ready. A fully charged phone, a laptop, head phone, power banks, ipad and other essential totally not for playing games in classes.

After saying goodbye to my parents, I make my way to the train station. Never use this station before but i think i could manage.

After successful not getting on the wrong train, i have made it to my campus.

It's quite large and at first, i couldn't believe this is the college i manage to secure myself in.

I waste no time on getting to the lecture hall q and wait for the first period. This way, i could start talking to someone and make friends. I have no intention of being a loner in college as well, and for that, I literally trained myself to be more sociable using the internet.

★FIRST STEP OF MAKING FRIENDS IN COLLEGE★

Get to class early and star talking to someone. Chances are, everyone here didn't know anybody as well, so make the first move.

Bonus points if you're not an awkward bastard like me and have a habit of throwing profanity at random because you curses so much while playing games.

As of now, I'm scoping out a place to seat. It's like a gacha, you either got a SSR grade, homie for life or you got an F grade as*wipe. Either way, there's nothing to lose, it's still the first day, a free pull for new player.

I choose a seat at random and hoping it's a good person with nice personality.

Here go! SSR!

"Hey man, this seat taken?"

"Nah"

"Sweet, I'll take it then if you don't mind"

"Yea, i don't mind"

"You know anyone here? Im Kaiden btw"

I put out my arm to him, signaling a handshake.

"Nah nobody, name's Eric"

He takes it and I give it a little up and down motion.

"Yea same, even though it's quite close to my area"

"Fr? I live pretty far away and no friends of mine goes here. I had to rent an apartment nearby"

"I see. You trying to find a roommate?"

"Nah, it's a small apartment. Even so it's still expensive as sh*t!"

"That's sucks"

Conversation going well, and this guy doesn't mind cursing so i Guess i can loosen up a little.

We continue to chat about random things while more people entering the class. It's been a while since I've seen this many people in one place. I don't usually like crowded places and still is, but I'm trying to be more social so stepping outside of your confort zone is part of the process.

Speak of comfort zone.

"I'm going to use the restroom real quick, you want anything?"

"What? You taking a sh*t?"

"If you want some sure"

"... I'll pass"

After trading jokes, I went out of the class and head to the restroom. The hallway is now crowded with people walking or standing and talking with their group. I'm guessing they are the seniors since they're still chilling outside with 15 minutes left before the first period.

After reaching the restroom, I started having this expectations that this place is not spared from having a dirty restroom, but luckily, it's really clean. So clean in fact I might consider eating off the floor. Obviously I wouldn't.

They got that pissing station where you stand side by side with a random person and could easily see each other wee-wee. Not a fan of that so I use the stall instead.

Finishing my business, I decided to take a sit for a while, it's a whole journey from classes and i haven't been physically active lately.

"Hey, did you see the news on twitter?"

Hm? There's couple of guys talking outside.

"About the monster thing? Sounds like a hoax"

"But the news Started picking it up as well and some people even takes pictures and video. Heck even live streaming it"

"Actually?"

Monster attack? What kinda silly thing is happening? I pulled out my phone and checked the twitter.

Woah... This kinda looked... Real? 193k post on trending is no joke...

*Piiip*

Huh? I just heard some high pitched noise out of nowhere

Wait... What's this?
