Chapter one: the first job

"So, where's the money asshole?"

"I told you it be a week before I can get it!"

"Liar! I know you have it! Now hand it over!"

"Please! I have nothing to give you!"

"Oi! Cut it out Seara! One more kick and the bastards gonna bleed out!"

"Shut up Jacob! This guy promised me thirteen grand and he hasn't coughed up a dime!"

"Cant you see he's on the brink of death!? If he had the money he would have payed you by now!"

"Fine! I'll let the fucker live! For now that is, you got one week to get me at least two thousand before shit gets ugly, understood?"

"Yes! Just please don't kill me!"

"I wont, for now, come on Jacob! Let's go!"

We jump in Jacob's car and drive to his house

"So, anything else you need to attend to today? Or is beating that man had to death the only thing on your to do list?"

"Well, me and a few others have a meeting with Cathryn to discuss some new intel on a rival gang, apparently they were plotting something, I don't know."

"Why wasn't I informed about this?"

"Come on Jacob, you know why, you probably already know this stuff anyways."

"I mean, you're right, but it's nice to be included."

"Eh, probably gonna be a waste of my time anyways, I don't get paid enough to care about this stuff."

"You don't get paid at all for these meetings, what are you on about?"

"Exactly"

I chuckle and start walking to the meeting area

"Greetings Seara, take a seat."

"Hey Black Cat, what's going on?"

"You can call me by my name, anyways, I've found some intel on a rival gang, normally we stay uninvolved in gang wars but if the information is correct, they are plotting sabotage against us."

Hitting his desk, Tyrone stands up

"I hope they know I won't hesitate to take them out if they cross any lines!"

"Calm down Tyrone, we can handle this civilly."

"Like you know anything about being civil sis, you get in more trouble than me!"

"Would both of you just shut up!"

"Hold on Gaby, no need to shout, anyways, back to business, Cathryn, what are we supposed to do about this?"

"While I don't think immediate action is necessary, stay on high alert, if you notice anything suspicious, report it to Tyrone, Sephrina or me."

"Got it, anything else?"

"No, that is all, I will see you all later."

Gaby scoffs loudly

"Well that was a waste of time!"

"Nobody made you attend this pal"

I smirk while pulling out my lighter

"Hey, can I borrow that for a second?"

"I don't see why not, knock yourself out Cathy."

She lights her cigar and hands it back

"Thanks."

"It's nothing, don't worry about it."

"Oh yeah, Gaby, Seara, I got a job for ya."

"What is it?"

"We got a mission, I can send you the details, it's a complicated heist, you need to be very precise to pull it off."

"Finally! Something interesting!"

"Gaby, Seara, you have to be careful, leave no traces of your path and make sure there's no witnesses."

"Got it, seems good with me, Gaby, what about you?"

"Sounds good, lets go."

"Alright, I sent you the address, call me when you're on the roof."

I go to get In my car but Gaby grabs my collar

"We ain't taking a car, we have to take something smaller and inconspicuous."

"Like what? A bike?"

"Exactly, now hop on, we got a long way to go and a short time to get there."

Putting on a helmet, I hop on Gaby's motorcycle as we ride off to the provided address

"Did we really need to take a bike? Is not like we need to hide it in a back alleyway."

"Thats exactly what we need to do, is this your first job?"

"First heist yes, normally I just pull of assassinations, not robberies."

"Well just be quiet and I'll give you the queue, it's quite exhilarating, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it."

"If you say so."

We turn into the alley and hop off the motorcycle

"Alright, I'll pick this lock, give me one second."

"Pick? Back in the military we were taught to shoot them off!"

"phf! Sounds like a great way to alert the enemies, and there we go, let's get to the roof."

We both climb the ladder, getting onto the roof of the building

"Ok, so now that we're ready, I need to establish some things, one, if you see a camera, shoot it, you can't risk them seeing your face."

"You talk of concealing your identity when you dye your hair purple."

"Shut up! I'm trying to help you here!"

"Ok! Calm down, Jesus…"

"Ok, two, take as much as you can, we have a specific item we're sent to get, but grab as many valuables on the way out, no reason not to."

"Got it, let's go."

"Ok, the doors open, let's move."

We make our way into the facility, grabbing as much as I can, I make my way to the designated area

"Alright, we just need to bust this door open."

pulling out her Glock, she shoots the two hinges on the door

"Ow! Couldn't you have put a can on that thing? at least tell me when you're going to fire point blank."

"Forgot to wear ear plugs? Not my problem."

"I didn't think you'd be shooting unsuppressed!"

"You use a suppressor? We're criminals, not 007."

"I'm an assassin, I need to keep quiet during my missions."

She scoffs at me and opens the door, grabbing the valuables and gunning for the exit

"Stop right there! Drop the bag and walk out with your hands up!"

"Shit! Looks like we made too much sound, what do we do now?"

"Play along, wait for a moment of weakness then knock 'em out."

"I got a better plan."

I leave my things with Gaby, approaching the police with my hands above my head

"Open your palm young lady, no hiding anything!"

I open my palm, a mk2 falling to the ground in front of me

"That's a bomb! Take cover!"

Using the panic caused by the grenade, I run to the motorcycle, hoping on while Gaby drives off

"Where the fuck did you get that?"

"A little souvenir from my time in the military, you do not know how long I've been waiting to do that."

"Full of surprises, I like it, anyways, let's get out of here before they catch up with us"

"Just take a right up here, that should be our destination."

"Got it."

We turn into the garage, I throw the bag of stolen goods onto the table where Cathryn is sitting

"We got the goods cat, what's the pay?"

"Hmm, you got lots more than I asked for, I think about five grand each is adequate payment."

Gaby grabs the bag off the table, somewhat angrily

"Raise it to seven and we got a deal."

"Fine, seven grand each, sound good?"

"Deal!"

"Alright, pleasure doing business with ya."

"Any time Cathy, ya know where to find me if you need my help!"
