They get to the house but Doris barely has enough time to sit before she is bombarded with calls and meetings from the management. Deloise sat in the living room, unable to process what she’s done.

Left alone to her devices, she went to her room, where she fell apart. For the first time ever, she cried, so much that she wondered if she had anymore tears left in her system. At that moment, she felt truly alone. She managed to hit rock bottom and couldn’t see a way out.

Everything was collapsing on her, her phone rang non-stop but she kicked it to a corner, she needed to escape. She had to escape this misery. Her life, joy and will to live was gone, broken beyond repair. In a desolate state, she slept off on the cold floor, with a thought that formed in her heart.

She couldn’t stay here. She had to leave. Fast.
