“You just said that she couldn’t possibly be a witch, but now you want to know if she uses witchcraft?” Emile asked, confused. “Are you trying to figure out what I know about her then?”
“How would you know more about her?” Elliot responded. “I’m just not completely sure about her. What I meant was that she did not seem like the wicked kind of person. You know; witches are wicked.”
“Anyway, what else did she tell you?” Emile asked, very interested now.
“Aren’t you even the least bit interested in finding out how I got her to confide in me?” Elliot asked with bright eyes.
“No, don’t say you used your charm on her!” Emile joked.
“I could have watched her get dressed after coming out of the water, but I didn’t,” Elliot commented with a flush creeping up his face.
“Oh, you dog, you!” Emile exclaimed with a chuckle. “So, what did you do to get her to ‘spill the beans,' because, apparently, that’s what she did, isn’t it?
