Chapter fifteen

Slowly, he turned around to face Lucifer, but his face was covered with the big hoodie cap, making it difficult for him to be recognized.

"Finally, we met again." His deep voice came on, as he took his hand slowly to his hoodie cap, and let it fall freely from his head, revealing his face. A smirk slowly crept its way to his lips, as he stared at Lucifer dangerously, an invisible intense fire, burning around him, and his aura, consuming everything around him, as even the ocean and the trees, seem terrified of him, but no one can intimate Lucifer, so of course he wasn't affected.

Meanwhile, Lucifer stood staring at him, as he finally saw his face, anger surges through him, as his eyes suddenly changed to bloodshot red, his blood boiling in rage, as his breath now came out in a hitch, just the look at the man standing before him, makes him want to devour him, just his presence irritates him so much, that he want to devour him at the spot.

"Raymond..." Lucifer called coldly, as he clenched his fists in rage, while giving him the most dangerous glare, which anyone can ever take.

"You're surprised to see me?" Raymond smirk, but it only lasted for a second, as it dissipated into a deep frown, enough to scare anyone away, but you aren't expecting Lucifer to be affected, do you? He's the devil himself, so nothing freaks him.

"What do you want?" Lucifer asked, trying to be calmed, he was just trying to restrain himself from hurting him, but for how long he'll be able to hold it in, is what he doesn't have control of.

"Is that even a question Kai? You know what I'm here for." He chuckled dryly, but it only lasted for seconds, and suddenly stopped, replaced with an intensified atmosphere.

Lucifer gulped down the lump in his throat, as he clenched his fists, piercing his palms with his fingers, while breathing heavily. He has been trying to restrain himself, he has been trying not to let his demon take over him, but the young man before him, just pushed him to it, he just stepped on his demon, and will sure have a taste of what it feels like, how dare he call him by name! No one have ever done that, and to think that someone just did, enraged him.

"You will pay for everything Lucifer...You made me this beast I am, and you think I'll ever forgive you? Never! Not now and not forever!" Raymond said in between gritted teeth, as his eyes changed to bloodshot red, his breath hitching, and his teeth slowly grew into long fangs, with the edges sharpened.

"Be my guest..." Lucifer said, as a smirk played at the corner of his lips, but it disappeared immediately.

"I'm coming back for you, and I promise to take you down then." He smirked, and with that, he disappeared into thin air.

Lucifer gritted his teeth, and clenched his fist, as he stared into space, while trying to calm himself down...

Lilly POV

The sound of my blaring alarm, jolted me out of my deep slumber, and I groaned tiredly, while tossing on the bed, before I finally forced my eyes opened. Gosh! I'm so tired, and the most annoying thing is that, I'm going to school this morning, I can't just wait to get done with this school shit, and finally have time to spend at home with my family, and also get some rest.

"Urgh!" I groaned tiredly, as I sat up on the bed, and stretched my arms above my head, while throwing my head back, and yawning like a hungry lion. I finally dropped my hands down, as my eyes darted to Nina, who was fast asleep, and didn't like she's going to wake up anytime soon.

"Sleepyhead." I rolled my eyes, as I got off the bed, and dashed into the bathroom. Since it's still very early, I took my time to have a long relaxing bath, after which I got dressed, and fixed some water for Nina, before going to wake her up.

"Hey Nina wake up, it's late already." I said, while tapping her back, knowing it won't work.

"I know just one more second please." She whined sleepily, as she groaned and slept off again. This girl can be one hell of a frustration.

"Alright then, sleep all you want, I'm off to school." I said, still standing, and she quickly jumped off the bed, while rubbing her eyes. Finally, it worked! I wasn't going to leave her here, was just trying to get her to wake up.

"Is it morning already?" She whined sadly, as she finally opened her eyes, but fell on the bed again, while facing the ceiling.

"I already fixed bath water for you, I'm off to make something for us to eat." I said, before walking away. I walked into our small kitchen, but sighed deeply, when I realized that there's no food available to eat. Oh heavens! Is this how we're going to go to school with an empty stomach again?

Tears welled up my eyes, as I stared at the empty cabinet, not even a single pack of noodles, is spared. For how long will I live like this? For how long will I suffer like this? I'm stranded here, without nothing to sustain us, and I know my family must be facing same thing as me.

"Are you ok?" Nina's voice came on from behind me, and that was when I realized the tears that escaped my eyes.

"Yes I'm fine." I quickly wiped off the tears in my eyes, before turning to face her, with a forced and fake smile, playing on my lips.

"Uhm...if it's..." The sound of the knock coming from outside, distracted us, and we both each other an 'are you expecting anyone' look.

"I'll go get the door." I said, before walking away. I walked straight to the door, and looked through the small hole, to see the dormitory attendant, standing there.

"What's she doing here?" I asked myself confusingly, and shrugged, before pulling the door opened.

"Hello Mrs Gabriel, how may I be of help please?" I asked politely, putting on my best smile.

"Hello miss Lilly, sorry to disturb you this early morning, but someone dropped this for you, and asked to deliver it to you." She said, while holding out three big polythene bags to me.

I gave her a confusing look for seconds, before finally taking the bags from her, after which I walked back inside, and closed the door behind me.

"Who was that?" Nina asked, as she came out from the kitchen.

"Mrs Gabriel said someone dropped this for me." I replied, while opening the bag, but froze at what I saw...
