Chapter 22

Dragons ~Koa~ (Third Person)

Mating in the depths felt nothing like this. His connection to Kamari intensified his desire to breed her. Utterly selfish, he could feel his dragon slithering in his subconscious, and it took all of him not to shift. Kamari turns around, her eyes glowing a vibrant purple, and her body has a slight purple aura around it. She's tapped into her other side.

Koa shudders as she moves in a movement he recognized, circling him like a shark, he kept his eyes on her, because he knew what could happen if she chose to attack him. Females were known for that, but Kamari had her nails tainted when her Shade side surfaced. He knew he had to be careful. 

The anticipation made him ache, the itch to have her insatiable. Kamari lets out a soft hiss, Koa can't help but let out a dark chuckle, he lets his eyes glow, and she comes near him. Kamari slightly tilts her head, then purposefully lets her strap fall from her dress. But he wanted to earn her. Kamari had to try and fight him, and he wasn't falling for her trap, he notices the small carpet beneath her feet and when she turns her back, he yanks it from underneath her. 

Kamari stumbles but recovers quickly, and Koa wasn't going easy on her. Not when she could possibly poison him. Koa taunts her with a soft growl, Kamari lunges forward, he dodges her first strike, but she kicks him in the chest hard, and he falls back, a sharp pain radiates up his spine. Koa sees her incoming strike to slash him, he rolls out of the way and before she can turn around he grabs hold of both her hands, and pins them then behind her back. Koa pulls her into him from behind and nuzzles the crook of her neck, her scent makes his Dragon rip and scratch at his subconscious. 

Koa grips Kamari's wrists, he feels her body tense. In an instant, she bangs her head into him, and he feels his nose and eyes burn. Koa throws her to the floor, and growls as he locks his eyes on her. She tries to get up, he grabs her leg digging his nails into her. Kamari hisses and strikes out at him, he dodges it and grabs her by the throat and slams her head on the floor. She cries out, but doesn't submit and Koa doesn't stop. His heart thundered in his chest he got on top of her, pressing his weight against her. Kamari squirms underneath him, then he feels her nails dig into his sides, and Koa hisses from the poison as she drags her nail down his side.

Koa grimaces, and hears Aneth's low growl, wanting to help, Koa glares back at him and hisses. Kamari was his now, and no female beneath the waves had fought against him and won. Koa always won the right to breed. He'd deal with poison later, Koa wanted Kamari more than anything, and he needed her to submit. Koa grabs her hands and slams them to the floor, and growls low in his throat as his face comes close to her, she snarls at him defiantly, he clenches his jaw and shows his fangs to her then pierces her neck. 

"Ah!" Kamari screams. Koa doesn't let go, growling like a rabid dog enjoying the taste of his mate's blood, still not letting go. Kamari whimpers, and then he hears the satisfying sound of her purr in her throat. His eyes roll into the back of his head. Koa lets go and leans back to see her beautiful submissive face. Koa smirks down at her, she spreads her legs for him, and he doesn't waste a second. He grabs her hips and pulls her towards him, grabbing her face in a heated kiss.

Koa unbuckles his belt and guides himself inside of her, she moans softly, locking eyes with him. His body shudders from the feeling of her clenching around him, he growls his throat as he takes what he's earned. And enjoys her, indulging in the flush of her chest and the pleasure he makes her feel, loving the haze in her eyes. Kamari rolls her hips and makes Koa grip her waist as he feels himself come undone; he growls low in his throat and releases inside of her. 

He didn't let her go, he needed to keep her still. Koa watches as her eyes fade out, she breathes in and out heavily. "Koa, I scratched you…''She says in a breathless voice. He chuckles, knowing he already felt the effects of her venom. His head grows foggy, and his body bears the pain and he sighs, "Serpents eat poisonous things in the sea. This will pass." Aneth, and Nye were more prone to Shade Poisoning, but Koa grew up in the seas eating things that could possibly kill him, and he did it on purpose.

Kamari sits up, and Koa holds her as he pulls himself out, her blood all over the wood floors. Aneth throws them a couple of towels, and Koa helps Kamari clean up, "Come, you need to rest." Koa helps Kamari up, and leads her to the bed. Koa rips one of the clean towels and bandages her neck. And not a moment later, she drifts off to sleep. 

Koa already knew what would happen next, he could feel Nye's presence behind him. He sighs, "Took you long enough." Koa smirks, knowing he made Nye watch as he mated with Kamari, "Bitter?" Koa asks.

He hears Nye crack his neck, his voice rumbles in his throat, "Kadea can be a real bitch brother." Koa shrugs, accepting his defeat with a sly smile.
