This is a basic ranking to get a better grasp of where the main character stands. Fairy tail in particular is one of the worlds where it's hard to properly rank everyone, so just don't think about it too much.

Rank SSS: Country-level mage/Four Ishgar Gods(That's pretty pog dude)

Spriggan Rank: Ajeel Ramal, Brandish μ, Dimaria Yesta, Invel Yura, Jacob Lessio, Neinhart, August, Bloodman, God Serena, Irene Belserion(Human form), Larcade Dragneel, Wall Eehto, Gildarts| (Dude, you're finally someone. I'm a little proud of you.)

Emperor rank: Zeref(Regular), Natsu(100% awoken), Irene Belserion(Dragon form)|(You can box)

Ex Rank: 5 Dragon Gods, Igneel(Prime), Acnologia, Zeref(Neo Eclipse), Ankhseram, Faris|(You can be a pretty decent bodyguard)

X Rank: Acnologia 100%(Time and Space absorbed)|(Took you long enough to get some actual strength)

Z Rank: Power of friendship.(Not just anyone can go up against you, as long as you have friends, just jump your opponent.)

Pseudo Demi-God rank:Power of determination(Believe in yourself! Kono Sekai de!... I mean, as long as you believe in yourself you can do it)

Demi-God rank: Nullus( Now, you've reached the real bottom of the food chain, the last one was fake.)

Not gonna lie, stole the ranking format from Annihilation King(fairy tail fanfic). Have a good day, and also, no I'm not going to use the power of friendship or the power of determination, at least not seriously. Only put them there cause none of the current characters were strong enough to put them there, and I didn't want to leave two ranks empty.
