Dinner with Emily

Kai approached at Emily's apartment 10 minutes ago, the house was a simple four bedroom room flat with a kitchen, living room and upstair. Kai is currently having dinner with Emily and her siblings in the kitchen.

Kai was sitting on a wooden chair while facing a young boy names Mark who had messy dark brown hair and blue eyes wearing a plain white shirt, a pair of dark blue shorts, and brown shoes.

Emily was cleaning the dishes with her younger sister Luka who had the same brown hair and blue eye while carrying a small baby with a short brown hair strapped to her back, obviously the youngest sibling.

Kai wondered what happened to their parents but he didn't voiced out his curiousity. He thought that they were involved in an accident so he didn't want to open old wounds. But that was not important right now.

Kai was genuinely surprised by the food before him. It was a simple meat and rice with assorted vegetables. A simple but refined meal. Taking his first bite, he almost melted on the spot.

"Wow!! Oh my God!! This is so good!" Kai voiced out with a look of delight upon tasting the food Emily prepared for him.

"Right." A small girl with short dark brown hair with blues wearing a cute dress said with a cheerful smile as she stood next to Kai.

"This is some wife material cooking right here!! Someone needs to wife you up ASAP!" ." Kai sang her praises as he took another spoon of the delicious dish before him.

"What?" Emily looked back as voiced out with a small blush in her cheeks. How could he say such a thing so nonchalantly? was what she was thinking.

Upon finishing his food, Mark stood and approached Emily before saying, "Are you going to marry Kai?" He said with an innocent look.

"What? No Mark, I'm not!" Emily immediately voiced out upon hearing Mark's sudden question. How could he ask suck a thing with Kai around?.

But luckily for her, Kai didn't hear the question because he was still bewitched by her cooking and he was eating while grinning like a idiot.

Seeing her sister's reaction, a smirk appeared on Luka's face. It was obvious that her sister liked Kai but was too afraid to make a move. Therefore,

"Yo, Emily! You should be more aggressive and go after him tonight!" Luka said with a innocent smile.

"Huh? What on earth are you saying, Yuka?" Emily spoke out as her face quickly turned red like a tomato.

Why was her siblings ganging up on her? And what's with Luka sudden suggestion. But,

"S-S should I really go after him tonight? No, no, no I'm an idiot." Emily thought with a red face while Kai kept eating with a wide smile on his face, not knowing what is happening.

Later that day around 10 pm in the night, Kai could be seen sleeping like a log of wood in the guest room. Hours ago, he finished dinner with Emily and her siblings and went to bed early. But he wasn't alone.

A figure could be seen walking inside the room and closed the door silently, trying not to wake Kai up. It seems the person that entered the room was Emily, following her sister's advice. Or was she?

The person that had entered the room was not Emily, instead it was a slender built young man around 19 of age with shaggy brown hair and black eyes.

He approached Kai and stood several feet's away from him, watching Kai sleeping soundly as he slept side ways facing the wall. This young man was indeed James but what was he doing here?

"Kai...." He mumbled.

"DIE!" Upon saying those words, he manifested a mirror Infront of him and shot a beam of light from it towards Kai.

"Uguu, uguu. ACHOO!!" Kai sneezed heavily and fell on the ground dodging the light ray, but it still managed to slightly gaze his forehead.

"Oh... AGYAAHH! what the hell!!" Kai screamed in pain while holding his forehead. Looking upwards, he saw the person responsible and a frown appeared on his face.

"Uh, you're May's asshole brother!! What the fuck are you attacking me? How did you manage to get in, in the first place?" Kai questioned with an annoyed look. This bastard broke into someone else's house and rudely interrupted his sleep.

"You are never going to marry my sister, so I will take your life." James stated as he prepared another light beam.

"The hell?" Kai thought and dodged several light beams fired at him.

"Look, all kids say stuff like that, Okay! But why are you acting like a coward and attacking me in my sleep!!" Kai complained as he kept dodging James attacks.

"Cowardly or not, I will make sure you never marry my sister!" James declared and prepared to launch another spell.

"Come on!! let's stop this, I don't want to hurt you plus this someone's house, at least let's take this out..." Kai stopped mid sentence as he saw a strange scene. Infront in him, they were two James with a mirror infront of them.

"There are two of him now! What exactly does his magic do?" Kai thought with a confused look as he had never seen this type of magic before.

"Time to pay for your crime of meeting my sister." Both James and his double declared at the same time and shot a huge beam of light towards Kai. He Immediately reacted and placed his both of his hands infront of him in form of an X to block the attack.

Boom!

The beam of light destroyed the room's wall as it slammed into Kai and launched him out outside of the apartment and onto the streets of Silver town.

Although he was uninjured, that attacked still still hurt him.

"That bastard! Just wait until I.... huh?" Kai paused mid sentence as he noticed the change in the environment. It was summer by this time of the season but it was snowing.

"Huh, What's going on? Why is it snowing?" Kai voiced out with a confused look as he noticed the snow on the ground and houses.

"Like I care about that, now D.I.E!!" James said and shot another beam of light.

Kai swiftly jumped to the right, dodging the light beam that slammed onto the area that he was previously.

"Hey!! you better cut that out!!" Don't make me come up there!!" Kai shouted at James who standing close to the broken wall of the upper floor of the house with a frustrated look.

"Hey! What are you guys doing?" Emily voiced out as she came out of the apartment.

"Emily! I'm sorry about your house." Kai apologized but Emily suddenly shouted out, "That's not important right now! I can't find any of my siblings!"

"What?" Kai voiced out in shock.
