Chapter 12

Prank and Sea King

The day ended with all the members of Fairy Tail drinking and starting the most damaging Guild brawl as Erza and Naruto also participated in the brawl to enjoy themselves. 

After the highest recorded amount of damage and best efforts of Makarov and Gildarts, the brawl was stopped, resulting in all the members but the newly minted S-class members being conscious.

"That took a lot of effort," said Gildarts, to which Makarov could only nod.

"Damn these kids. I don't want to estimate the amount of damage done" said Makarov in a sad tone and tears came out of his eyes comically, filling the room with water.

"Oops. I think we went too far" said Naruto as he was beside Gildarts, patting a sleeping Sirius in his lap.

"What? You are not sober?" Asked Gildarts in confusion.

"What are you talking about? I'm fine" said Naruto, gesturing to himself. Gildarts saw behind Naruto to see a fully sobered Erza trying to cut the stone wall with a rubber sword which she got from somewhere.

"I'm not giving up, you are my arch enemy and I'm gonna take my revenge you are an obstacle for a long time. That ends today" she muttered and tried even harder to cut the stone with rubber. But it didn't budge. She used more pressure and her rubber sword broke to pieces.

"I think she had more than she could handle," said Gildarts with a smirk.

"Ya. But isn't it fun?" said Naruto with a smirk. Makarov, who was still crying comically turned to see Erza and started laughing at her efforts.

"Booze can make you do things that you never dreamed of," he said with a smile. Naruto fell asleep soon after with Sirius in his lap. Makarov and Gildarts also followed his example and went into a dorm room in the Guild to sleep.

Next Day

As the Guild recovered from their alcoholic sleep, Gildarts started packing his things and moved out of the Guildhall with a job request in hand. Unknown to him, a blonde boy and a gold jaguar started to follow him and as they reached the outskirts of the town, Gildarts called them out.

"Come out, Naruto. I know you are following me with Sirius" 

"It was fun while it lasted," said Naruto as he walked towards the old man.

"Yo" 

"Why are you following me?" asked Gildarts and Naruto smirked at him.

"What are you talking about? I'm on my way to do my job" said Naruto, showing him a flyer.

"And a lot more" added Sirius and showed some more requests which were kept in his bag.

"How many requests did you take?" Asked the Ace of Fairy Tail.

"Hn, all of 'em," said Naruto with a victory sign.

"WHAT?" yelled Gildarts, which could be heard to the entire Magnolia.

"Yup. I thought of doing an S-class job, but I remembered my past encounters with them and thought of spending a while out of Guild exploring the world. So, I took all normal jobs except for chores and one S-class job" said Naruto with a toothy grin which Sirius replicated.

"How did you get Master's approval for all these jobs?" Asked Gildarts curiously.

"I gave him a Sorcerer's Magazine which had the list of most eligible female models to date," said Naruto with a smirk.

"It worked like a charm and the old man was deep in the book, he didn't see how many papers he stamped. I could swear that I saw a trail of blood from his nose" said Sirius in a happy tone but at the end, his tone changed into a confused one.

"I can't understand why," he said with a pout.

"I think (cough)(cough) Naruto will explain to you in a few years, Sirius. Don't bother your brain with such a thing" said Gildarts.

"Yes, I'll explain it later, Siri. Now let's get back on topic" said Naruto and Sirius pumped his small hands into the air.

"Yes! I'm gonna be S-class soon as well" yelled Sirius. Gildarts took a double-take as the small cat/jaguar he remembered grew into a 6-foot tall warrior with a sword in hand.

"You are going to be, Siri. I do not doubt that" said Naruto as he patted the talking jaguar who smiled at his father. Gildarts sighed at this.

"Damn, kid. You blew me up with this stunt of yours. Ok, whatever. Be on your way, I think I should take a break in a nearby town to cool myself" said Gildarts with a perverted smile rather than a perverted giggle that he was used to with Jiraiya.

"Be careful, Old man. I don't want to replace you so soon after becoming an S-class you know" said Naruto and walked off on his way.

"Right. Bye, Naruto, you as well, Sirius" said Gildarts and started walking into the forest surrounding Magnolia.
