8. Quidditch

Our first game was this week. My team was practicing for hours every single day. We were playing Gryffindor.

I did not know how they were at Quidditch since this was the first game of the season but Harry was supposed to be pretty good from what I heard.

Flint didn't think I was good enough to be on the team being a first year so I was not in the game.

After a few minutes of the game and no one being able to see the snitch yet Harry was just waiting until he saw it.

I saw it the same time he did because he started diving for it. The Slytherin seeker had not seen it yet and I yelled at him. After my yelling he saw Harry going after it and followed him.

Harry's broom was quicker because it was a new one. I'm pretty sure McGonagall bought it for him which I thought was unfair. Either way he was getting close to the ground with his dive and the Slytherin seeker got scared and pulled up when Harry pulled up and he stood on the broom while reaching for the snitch only to fall. I didn't know where the snitch went but when he landed he looked sick. He spit the snitch up which signaled the win for Gryffindor. I was so upset I could have helped win the game but Marcus Flint would not let me.

He apologized to me after the game telling me "I should have let you play maybe we could have pulled off the win."

A few days later it was time to go home for Christmas. Right when I made it to the common room he told Goyle to carry my suitcase. Goyle glared at him but obliged.

"No Goyle I have it." I told him. "Wingardium Leviosa" my suitcase started flying and following me. They all took my lead and did the same to their suitcases everyone of them dropping it more than once except Draco.

Most of them hit the door as we left the common room. When we walked down to the train we all sat in the same compartment. My cat in my lap. My head on Draco's lap for the first hour or so.

After we played cards for a while until the lunch trolley arrived. Draco bought lunch for himself and me. Crabbe and Goyle bought their own to eat.

After we talked and Crabbe and Goyle were excited about being able to come and stay with Draco this winter.

Their parents were the only reason why they weren't coming after leaving the train. They wanted to see their sons which I wasn't sure why.

When we arrived at the train station I had to put Lily my cat back in her crate. I also grabbed my suitcase and left the train. "Where are they?" I asked Draco.

He laughed. "They hate this place it's dirty. They sent a car." My eyes widened as he grabbed my hand.

We looked for the car. After finding the man Draco knew we walked over there. He grabbed my suitcase and ushered us foward to the car.

We both sat in the back as he somehow was able to put our suitcases in the trunk. "Are you ready?" Draco asked.

I shook my head no.

"You will be fine. I promise." He said.

I smiled as he put his arm around me.

When we started going into gates I looked out the window to a huge house. When the driver opened the door he said "Welcome to Malfoy Manor."

I stepped out of the car far enough so Draco could follow. He put his hand on my back and pushed me toward the door.

I walk foward as a tiny blonde woman steps outside the door. "Draco!" She screamed and started running toward him. He let go of me and walked toward her. She hugged him. She looked so happy I thought I saw tears.

After holding him for a few minutes he pulled away. "This is Hunter." He said gesturing toward me. She almost didn't look away from him but after a while she looked at me and nodded then looked back at him.

"Come on H let me give you a tour." He said to me. I nodded.

He showed me the family room, dining room, then took me upstairs to his room it was amazing. There was a green bed and the walls green. Slytherin symbol on the wall.

"And next to my room is yours." He brought me into my room. It was beautiful. The same green on the walls then a canopy bed. I hugged him.

"I love it."

That night we had dinner with his parents they asked me questions about school and family. When I started to get nervous Draco pointed at his head telling me to listen to what he was thinking. I made him a promise I would not be in his head unless he asked me to.

"Calm down. Your fine." I nodded when he said this. He smiled at me.

That night we went to bed and talked in my room for a while before he went to sleep.
