056 Turning The Tide

After explaining my plan to Ventus she nodded confirming that it was understood.

Our attention was quickly turned to the barrier that Ven had put up. The soldiers outside were mercilessly trying to break it down already. 

We had to be quick.

With our attention back on each other we began the plan. 

Ventus raised her left arm up in the air and used the skill of her bound item [Chromatic Dominance].

Out of nowhere a set of assorted and overlapping gears appeared above Ven. With a ruined clock face in front, the gears began to turn. It caused the arms in front to start to rotate. We could hear a ticking sound.

Much like the ticking of an old clock it was precise and strong.

Bold and methodical.

They were slow at first but as time passed the ticks gained speed. Soon they became more rapid and stronger. Echoing across the entirety of the temple complex.
