"Shuang'er? Hello? Mom to Shuang'er can you hear?" Hearing her Mom calling her Xu Shuang was brought back to reality.

"What do you want mom?" Xu Shuang asked with a confused face.

Wei Meirong couldn't help but hold her forehead.

"I've been calling you for a while now and you didn't respond so I was worried that something happened."

Hearing this Xu Shuang couldn't help but feel warm inside.

"Don't worry about it mom, I'm just thinking of new designs for our shop."

Wei Meirong smiled and then started preparing the table for dinner.

"Come and help me set up the table for dinner, your dad should be coming home in a few minutes."

"Okay mom"

They then set the table with the food for the night which is wonton noodles with meat dumplings.

After a few minutes of waiting, Xu Jingguo arrived and then they ate together and chatted for a while.

While they were chatting, Xu Shuang asked.

"Mom and dad you are both spirit masters, why didn't you choose to strive for a higher rank and instead chose to be tailors and blacksmiths?"

Wei Meirong smiled and rubbed Xu Shuang's head.

"It's because mom and dad don't like to fight with others that's why we chose to be tailors and blacksmiths. If Shuang'er got a strong martial spirit and wants to fight with others, it's okay for us we will support you wholeheartedly."

Wei Meirong then looks her daughter in the eye.

"But if one day you get tired from all the bells and whistles of fighting just know that you can always come back to us and spend time with your parents."

Xu Jingguo nodded with a smile.

"Whatever my daughter wants to do just remember that we'll always support you, even if you want to be the strongest your dad will find a way for you, even if it means being the enemy of the world."

When Xu Jingguo said this his body seem to reveal a hint of majestic aura but it disappeared a moment later.

Feeling the aura Xu Shuang was shocked guessing that her parents might have untold stories.

Seeing that the time was already late, Wei Meirong told Xu Shuang to go to bed.

"Shuang'er go to bed early today you don't want to miss martial spirit awakening tomorrow won't you?"

"Okay, mom."

Seeing that Xu Shuang has gone to bed, Wei Meirong turned to look at Xu Jingguo seriously.

Feeling the gaze he asked.

"What? Why are you staring at me like this?"

She said in an annoyed tone.

"Because of you, our cover might already be exposed to Shuang'er"

"So what if were exposed? It's determined that she learn about this tomorrow, I'm just bringing it up earlier." He said nonchalantly.

"But, can 'they' accept Shuang'er and me?" She said with a hint of sadness in her eyes.

Xu Jingguo stood up and pulled Wei Meirong into an embrace and looked into her eyes.

"Don't worry, I will make 'them' accept you and Shuang'er. No matter what it takes, even if it means beating all those old people."

She nodded but she seemed worried about something.

"What if the martial spirit of Shuang'er is not strong?"

Xu Jingguo then laughed as if he heard some sort of joke.

"Hahahaha, how could the martial spirit of my daughter not be strong? I, Xu Jingguo is born full of innate spirit power how could my daughter be worse than that?"

As he spoke rings of light ascended from below him one by one, two yellow, two purple, and four black shining brightly.

Surprisingly Xu Jingguo turned out to be a Spirit Douluo!

"Even if the martial spirit of Shuang'er mutated and degenerated I will still make them accept her. I'll do everything for my little girl, even if it is to hold the sky up for her."

His eyes seem to flash with unparalleled arrogance that has no end as he spoke.

Wei Meirong then patted his arm, and he turned to look at her in confusion.

"Cancel your spirit rings my dear or else Shuang'er might wake up."

"Oh right hehe."

It's like the majesty he has shown is just an illusion Xu Jingguo is back to his jolly self.
