Chapter 25 — Donate
The bomb I've stolen was still inside my spatial device.
I used the bomb to destroy one of the secret hideouts of Lobster Famillia. Then the forces from Dojo Guild went to sweep inside by using the surprise and chaos to their advantage.
On my way back, I managed to stumble upon a hidden village that needed help from a madman, so I quickly ended his life to help the villagers.
And as for how we exactly know the location of the secret hideout?
I've thoroughly extracted every piece of information from the boss.
The extraction process was a great experience to try out the torture methods I've read from books.
I was even able to experiment with my own torture method.
My purple blood was periodically injected into his bloodstreams. The excruciating pain can be described as if there were millions of poisonous ants gnawing him from the inside out.
After a long period of enduring such pain, the purple blood would then become a medicine to avoid making him die too early.
The painful torture cycle happened with each periodic injections.
This was the result of my upgraded purple blood upon consuming various spirit herbs from the market.
There were a lot of federal dollars under my name, making me very rich compared to the past.
The majority of those dollars came from my shares of Red Rose. The rest came from my blacksmith job.
I didn't know where to spend those millions of dollars, so I went to buy various spirit herbs with the sole intention of upgrading my purple blood.
The spirit herbs were mostly poisonous and medicinal spirit herbs. It was painful to absorb them, but it was worth it upon seeing the new improvement of the purple blood.
The invasive acidic poison grew more deadlier and lethal, further increasing my poison and disease resistances. The poison smoke was now even able to coat my whole body.
As for its medicine effect, it caused my strong natural regenerative factor to increase a few times. And if I add soul blood and life-death energy, I'm now capable of rapidly regenerating new flesh and skin.
If I gave them to other ordinary people, there was the possibility of my blood being hailed as divine elixir.
The upgraded version allowed for the creation of the time controlled poison-medicine for torture.
As for the plan with my wealth, I decided to create my own hideout. I wasn't a materialistic person, so I just asked Ning Shui to donate any unused money to orphanages and other good places that need it more than me.
Moving on, I was constantly torturing the boss, with me not even sleeping a wink, so the crying boss finally exposed everything about their group.
However, he was merely one of the higher ups, not even the true boss of the entire group, so he didn't know everything about the group.
Nevertheless, it was enough for now.
From the boss, we managed to learn about the huge underworld business they ran, their secret hideouts, their entire hierarchy, and the other groups connected to them.
Without a doubt, the Lobster Famillia was a strong underworld group formed by wicked ordinary people.
However, it was not gonna stop me from completely eliminating them.
The new bombs I recently acquired from their secret hideout were tools for that.
Once Vlad starts the hunt, he will perform it until the end.

Red Rose has officially started their official war against the Lobster Famillia. As a result of their declaration, they received help from various forces that have deep grudge against Lobster Famillia.
Since they were the main force, Red Rose prepared a contract which states they will seize most of the benefits from the war with Lobster Famillia.
This ultimately forced those who came for only benefits to back away.
The war soon started.
However, it was assumed it would take years for the war to be over.
I didn't care about that fact, but I still saw this war as a way to find leads to the beasts who stole everything from me.
Red Rose have previously seized the two white mechas. They then went to recruit those people who have knowledge about mecha.
Ning Shui wanted to repair and then use the two mechas for the war. After several weeks, those mechanics managed to fix the two white mechas.
The mechas were sent to the Dojo Guild which was starting to train selected disciples to pilot mechas.
This day marked the birth of a new Red Rose Guild.
A guild for mecha professions, the Rose Mecha Guild.
Along with the Soul Guide Guild and Blacksmith Guild, they were now trying to enter the mecha market to legally sell mechas to organizations like police forces.
I didn't have much knowledge about mechas.
In fact, I held some disdain for those bulky metals.
My faith was in my body.
This body of steel was my strongest weapon.
However, there was a really important matter I needed to solve.
"I can feel the effects brought by life forces growing weaker…"
I've realized this certain fact upon killing some people in the secret hideout I bombed.
Although similar to life energy, I knew that life force was completely different. After all, it was the power of a devil.
The absorbed lifeforce was like the true essence of lifeforms.
A mysterious energy that was extremely pure and primal, possessing the ability to transform my body into a higher level of existence.
In the past, I've formulated the major body transformation stages I underwent from absorbing pure lifeforce.
The first stage was Body Attunement, the stage where every cell of my body was introduced to pure lifeforce, causing my body to have increased strength, speed, endurance, reaction speed, regeneration, and talent.
The second stage was Muscle Transformation, the stage where lifeforce focused on increasing my strength by nourishing my muscles.
As secondary effects of the pink muscles, my endurance, flexibility, and agility were strengthened and optimized.
The third stage was Bone Marrow Cleansing, the stage where my bone marrow was refined to produce higher quality of blood, greatly enhancing my overall bodily functions and regeneration speed.
The fourth stage was Bone Transformation, the stage where the lifeforce focused on increasing my defense by transforming my bones into organic materials that were hard as steel, but also seemingly hollow, enhancing my toughness and speed.
As secondary effects, the skeletal system was optimized and grew more flexible, widening my range of motions.
However, it was important to note that my nails and every hair were included in this transformation of the bones.
After the transformation of my entire muscular and skeletal system, I was even able to awkwardly imitate the vicious cobras.
That was where my move Cobra Strike came from.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any signs of the next transformation stage.
I tried to feel the cold force, but I was only able to vaguely feel it undergoing some changes.
I felt like it needed some kind of catalyst to finish its ongoing change.
"What do I need to complete the change of the cold force?"
I furrowed my brows to contemplate deeply, but nothing ever came to mind as it was too mysterious.
In the end, I just decided to meditate deeply and cultivate.
Recently, I have been so busy that I barely have time to cultivate properly.
There was some temptation to temporarily stop forging, but I didn't give in to such desires.
If I stop forging, there was a chance for me to get consumed by my overwhelming rage and bloodlust.
Even the necklace was getting overpowered by them.
I decided to keep things steady. With my current strength, I knew it was enough to deal with those beasts who defiled my family and burned my village.
My only problem was their location was still unknown.
I was searching for them on my own, but even with the help of Red Rose, I could find anything about them.
They disappeared like ghosts.
Just in case of unexpected problems, I need to steadily grow stronger without my mind getting consumed by overwhelming rage and bloodlust.
"I need to focus on cultivating…"
As always, I focused on refining the Spirit Heart to produce compressed soul blood that was extremely dense and brimming with energy.
This kind of method was also a way to create an unshakable foundation that was as solid and tough as steel.
And with the Life-Death Wheel, the refining process was more efficient and effective than normal. The Life-Death energy the wheel produced served as rich nutrients for the Spirit Heart, shortening the required adjusting period, as well as extending the normal refining duration.
The Life-Death Wheel was useful in every manner.
Its life and death attribute makes it easier to detect good and bad intentions.
And as long as it spins, life-death energy slowly refines every aspect of my mind and body. But it wasn't as fast as the absorption of lifeforce.
Not only that, the wheel amplifies the power of soul blood, thereby bestowing greater body reinforcement with powerful destructive and tenacious capabilities.
If I used it while forging, the metal I create has high quality since there was a chance of bestowing my unique Life of Death.
The Life-Death Wheel was extremely great, it can even be compared to a soul ring!
Unfortunately, I was stuck as a 4th rank blacksmith with my current soul rank. In the meantime, I was working hard to improve my foundation once again. I thought it was solid enough, but I was proven wrong by Meng Tian.
I realized I was still lacking a lot since I skipped many procedures to quickly reach the 4th rank blacksmith.
Meng Tian possessed deeper knowledge and forging experiences than Master Hu Yu, but she taught me important stuff like Heart Of Steel.
It can be said that without her guidance and help, I wouldn't be as strong as I am right now.
No, more importantly, her presence full of compassion had restored some parts of me.

I was at the library to read new books.
There was the usual Na'er who was reading diligently.
There were sparkles in her eyes that sought to know more about the beautiful world.
After all, books were capable of bringing readers to unimaginable places.
I knew reading books was also a form of tempering the mind, although slowly but steadily, strengthening the mental force known as spiritual power.
This force was extremely important for spirit masters.
It even plays a huge role when hardening my body into steel by using Steel Breathing Method.
However, I just really want to read a lot of books to expand my wisdom and knowledge.
I've often heard from my father that knowledge is power.
Those words were true.
For example, I thoroughly learned about Spirit Souls and Soul Rings, which are important powers for Soul Masters.
Spirit Souls were created by Spirit Pagoda after spirit beasts started going extinct.
Spirit Pagoda was one of the major powerhouse organizations of the three continents.
It was known that by fusing Martial Souls with Soul Spirit, it will grant Artificial Soul Rings that bestows unique abilities to the Martial Soul. Its grade depended on its age. The older the age, the stronger it becomes.
From the books, it was stated that in order to absorb a Soul Spirit of a higher age—a powerful body, a strong spiritual power, and abundant soul power were required.
Therefore, it was important to strengthen those three aspects to the utmost limit before trying to absorb a Soul Spirit.
Since I previously fell from my original Innate Rank, but still as strong as Innate Rank because of Soul Blood, I can thoroughly prepare myself to hit those limits.
A blessing in disguise.
It must also be noted that my limit was higher than normal Soul Masters.
"Na'er…"
A soft voice quietly reverberated.
I raised my head and saw Tang Wulin.
"Oh, brother. You came to read too?" Na'er gently asked.
"Yes, can I sit beside you?"
"Okay."
Tang Wulin.
He started to read books after seeing me and Na'er skipping classes just to read from the library.
I didn't know why.
At first, Tang Wulin found reading books to be tedious, but he was soon captivated by the wonders within the book.
Tang Wulin's favorite books were about the biographies that tell the experiences of Soul Masters.
He stopped attending classes soon after realizing that he would learn faster by reading books.
Tang Wulin was now like us.
There were no worries about skipping classes.
As for grades, I could still keep high grades due to the exams and combat assessments.
That's why I'm usually alone and isolated from other students.
A rather boring academy life.
In the beginning, I was surrounded by bootlickers, but they were now talking behind my back.
It was natural as I was always avoiding and ignoring them.
Now I was being disliked for being too arrogant.
Not like I care about a bunch of brats.
Tang Wulin was reading biographies again today.
I didn't find much meaning about reading those biographies which contain exaggerations and lies.
However, I was still able to realize there were biographies that served as nice reference when I read them on a whim.
It was possible to gain benefits from their various experiences, making me not so ignorant in the future about the world of spirit masters.
It further reminded me I've just recently begun my steps to an unfamiliar world.
Aside from that, there were also details in the biographies about how spirit masters trained in various aspects.
Although most of those details seemed unconventional and exaggerated—to the point of being close to actual torture, making it so that only masochist would chose to actually practice them.
Yet I found solace in those torturous training methods as conventional methods had started to stop working on me.
That was why I also started to read the helpful biographies. Not only that, I also went to learn various training manuals, and know more about medical knowledge, as well as biological science to perfect my training program.
Once I compiled and combined all of those precious knowledge, It would be the birth of my ultimate training program to build the perfect foundation for absorbing Spirit Souls.
