Chapter 4

Just next to the Williams table was a handsome man with clean and clear skin, and chiseled features, with a haughty aura oozing around him, he was dressed in a navy blue tuxedo with a burgundy tie and handkerchief in the chest pocket. He looks like a model out on a runway. No wonder he is one of the most voted handsome bachelors in the country and it is none other than Andrew Thompson CEO of Thompson's Realtors, popularly called Addy by his friends and families.

Addy is the only child of his parents, the heir, and the third generation successor to the largest and renowned real estate company in X city. Now twenty-nine, he is one of the youngest and powerful CEO in the country. Since he became the CEO of Thompsons Realtors, he has brought the company to a greater height and their reputation is very high. And at the same time he's feared in the underworld, despite he doesn't associate himself with them often, he still uses them for his own personal use and the gangs call him big boss.

He graduated from a top prestigious elite university in the country and he assumes the position of CEO at the age of twenty-one, and never for once felt burdened about his responsibilities. Due to the fact that he became a CEO at a young age, he always buries himself at work and rarely goes to events, and does not even have a girlfriend. Not that he can't have one, he just can't be bothered about it, and moreover, he doesn't believe in love, at first sight, he feels that only happens in movies. And he is too busy to try to develop a relationship with anyone, and cannot be bothered explaining to people why he is still single after all these years of being the CEO. People just assume and come to the conclusion that he cannot fall in love since he is cold and not nice.

Addy was staring at this woman since she walked in and was captivated by her beauty, she was a natural beauty with porcelain skin, her face is narrow with her v-shaped jawline, her hourglass body shape makes her one of the most beautiful women he's set his eyes on, and the way she walks and carries herself elegantly with confidence makes him wants to know this woman more.

"who is that woman in white over there," he asked glaring in Eva's direction...

"oh that's Eva William, CEO of VEES BRANDS" Leo his secretary answered curiously

He only gave a slow nod to acknowledge that he was listening, while he was watching her every movement.

He watched Eva's reaction towards her twin cousins and her male cousin, and he could not help but be curious and intrigued about her.

As the event continued into the night Addy cannot help but look in Eva's direction and every time she smiles, it feels like someone is tickling him with bird feathers and he could not understand why, but he was so sure he wants to find out more about her.

Leo was also watching his boss's reaction and was wondering if his boss has finally fallen in love but he wasn't sure yet since his boss always keeps a straight face and is hard to read. But one thing is for sure, he knows his boss is curious about the lady, and he will make sure he does his research about her before he askes him to.

"Thank you all so much for attending this charity donation event, we appreciate your time and donations towards this organization and we will continue to keep you up on any updates in the future. Do have a safe journey to your respective places. Good night all" as Madam Cole gave her speech before leaving the stage.

The chats in the hall became louder with greetings and friendly chats as people start exiting the hall.

"So I will see you in the afternoon then," Joey said

"Yeah sure, will be expecting you" Eva replied

"Remember its a surprise don't tell grandma and Rosie"

"My mouth is sealed promise," she said as she used her hands to indicate what she meant.

Mia and Mya were about to say something to Eva when they saw Addy coming over to their table.

"OMG my husband is coming in this direction" Mia squeaked quietly

"I'm sure he's coming to greet me, he couldn't handle my beauty and he's coming to get my number" Mya simpered

"Let's see who he's coming for I'm sure it is not these losers," Mia said while eying her cousins.

Eva unconsciously looked in the direction of Addy ignoring her stupid cousins' comments and thought to herself

'Oh this guy looks familiar but she cannot pinpoint where she knew him from, well she does not know him and doesn't think he's coming to her'
