The only sounds in the cave were Thorne's footsteps and echoes produced by water droplets falling from ceiling. The damp smell of the cave never ceased to invade his nose and made him a little nauseous. As he walked he couldn't help but think about his future and what will happen after the tutorial. Is he forever trapped in this 'System's' game, but before he could sink into too much thought he felt a weird feeling from in a wall.
As he got closer he was sure that what he was sensing was the aura of some creature, but he wasn't able to see what it was. Now he knew what the System meant by clearing the Tutorial he was going to have to slaughter monster's and survive till the end. Thorne had no choice but to dance in the palm of the System.
As he approached the cubby in which the monster was hiding in it quickly noticed him and entered into the path, but not before a low growl caught his attention and he was finally able to see just what creature he would brawl to the death with.
In front of him about 10 yards away was a brown wolf, but it was only the size of a cheetah which gave Thorne a little too much confidence in his first fight with a monster. He thought that his 5'9 stature would be more than enough to intimidate the small creature, but its growls were more than enough for Thorne to realize just how wrong he was.
Before he knew it the creature swiftly ran towards him and Thorne stood his ground and lowered his posture preparing for the charge. As the wolf ran towards him it quickly moved to his side and jumped on the wall and then jumping off towards Thorne without losing it momentum
'I might have been a little too cocky.' Thorne's expression changed to a sly smile, one of fleeting hope as he raised the dagger to absorb the strike of the wolf.
Thorne side-stepped the aggressor and slashed at it, grazing its pelt but still being able to cut open its fur and revealed its muscle. His lack of fighting knowledge inhibited him from knowing how to predict the attacks of the wolf which led to him continuing to stand still and prepared.
The slash had done very little to the wolf except anger it more. It growls turned into guttural screeches.
"You're a feisty one."
Even though Thorne lacked combat skills his mind stayed relaxed and allowed him to analyze the situation and kept him ready for the next attack which didn't take long.
The wolf lunged at his ankles which prompted a quick kick from Thorne and concussed the wolf. He quickly followed up with a downward slash aimed to behead the creature. Unfortunately, his attempt was stopped in its tracks when the wolf quickly jumped to the side and jumping right towards Thorne's neck.
Although the saved himself from death by dodging the attack the wolf was still able to take a chunk out of his shoulder. It was his non dominant shoulder which allowed him to stab the neck of the wolf, instantly killing it and giving him control of his shoulder again. Blood leaked from his shoulder while he heard a recognizable voice.

He could instantly feel the effect of the Aura Fragments. Although small it he noticed that he felt both stronger and lighter.
Now that he was aware of how to get Aura Fragments he realized just how difficult 1000 would be to obtain. His wound was fairly small and didn't hinder his movement enough for him to worry about. He rested up for a bit and caught his breath before continuing his walk.
"Well that went well enough for my first fight. Couldn't have asked for a better fight."
Eventually the cave which had been only moss covered on the walls was now covering the floors as well and before he knew it he had become a victim of the camouflage from it, because of this inexperience in using his aura sense he missed the camouflaged lizard on the ceiling. He sensed it right as it was dropping from the ceiling on to him.
Thorne followed his instincts and instantly fell to the ground with the daggers tip pointed right at the falling lizard. The lizard being unable to move in the air fell straight into the dagger but it had missed its head and heart and landed in the middle of its torso missing it spine as well and allowing the lizard to get attacks in before it eventually bled to death.
It swiped at Thorne using its two front legs with big claws not usually seen on a lizard. The lizard swiped his face twice before Thorne could headbutt it and push it off. Once he had pushed off the lizard and it was on its back it was unable to move quick enough to avoid Thorne's deadly quick attack right to the head after he dexterously removed the knife from its body.

The damage he took from that fight was nothing compared to the Che-Wolf he had fought previously which led him to just clean off the slashes he had received on his cheeks and continue onward.
He tried to make sure he was focused on sensing the Aura around him and he did after around 10 minutes when he arrived at a door with two torches on either side. The Aura on the other side made him shiver when he realized what was through the entrance.
On the other side of the door was a creature at least twice as tall as him he wasn't able to really judge it but knew that it had to be big if it was that tall.
"This is were the real fun starts. If you want a show System, I'll give you a show."
