You must accept the punishment." Simon groaned as he tried to get up, but he didn't have the strength to do it. He could only lay weak and thought it might be time for him to die. He then looked at the older man who was looking at him. With a smirk on his bloodied lips, he said, "Punish. I'm ready to die." "Dead? No. Your punishment is not death but the pain of loss. And when you meet your descendant, they will receive a curse." Simon chuckled at the older man's words. He didn't have anything of value in his life, so why was he afraid of losing? After all, Simon has not and will never love a woman. How could he have descendants? "This is easy." Simon grinned before finally closing his eyes. ** This is my first work in English. 16. She's Mine

The year 1817.

Eleanor's raised body stiffened. It was hard for her to breathe when his giant, hairy arms wrapped around her.

The rabbit's blood on the monster's chin dripped, and his two eyes stared at the big blue eyes decorated with heavy and thick eyelashes. He was mesmerized by seeing the sweet figure in front of him.

Eleanor's lock of hair slipped as her head drooped. She e was sure that after the little rabbit became the victim, she would become the monster's prey.

She was careful not to take her eyes off the monster's deep eyes. Just imagining how the monster pounced on her in one fell swoop made Eleonor's entire body tremble.

"Please don't hurt me. I beg you!" said Eleanor with trembling lips.

Her voice was hoarse but soft. The thoughtful expression on the monster's face slowly softened. Anger at being disturbed began to disappear. He could feel the girl's body shaking with fear.

The monster slowly put Eleanor back on the ground. However, without him expecting, the girl immediately set off to leave him. Eleanor's actions made the monster grab her body. Eleanor screamed a second time as her body was again in the power of the monstrous creature. Not just one arm, but two of the monster's arms wrapped around Eleanor's body. The monster didn't want Eleanor to leave.

Eleanor, who had been scared half to death, drooped and fainted.

He has met thousands of beautiful women and even made love to them many times. However, there had never been a woman who had made Simon feel the sweet, throbbing pain in his chest like now.

He stared at Eleanor's beautiful body curled up on the dry leaves. The girl was still unconscious after some time had passed. Simon was confused, not knowing what to do to bring the woman to her senses. He was walking back and forth.

Simon returned to the lake, and he reflected on the clear water. He didn't want to leave any traces of blood or anything that would reveal his savage nature when Eleanor woke up. He then took the water by clasping his hands together.

Simon woke Eleanor with the water from the lake, and it worked.

Eleanor blinked open her eyes. She immediately got up when she saw the figure of a man looking at her.

Eleanor's gaze swept around. There was no longer any hideous furry monster there. There was only a dashing man and a torch as a light. Her eyes returned to Simon with a look of astonishment.

"Wh-who are you?" asked Eleanor.

Simon approached Elanor, which made the girl back away slowly. Simon was still in awe of the woman's face, confirming that his heart was beating faster because of the feminine figure in front of him. Eleanor's eyebrows rose, and her pale red lips were so seductive.

Simon finally realized that his attitude had scared Elanor. He then withdrew and sat down without taking his eyes off Eleanor.

"Are you mute? Are you the one who saved me from that monster?" Eleanor asked back.

Help?

"Yes," answered Simon. He thought that answer was better than Eleanor, knowing that the scary monster was himself.

"Oh, thank God. I don't know what that creature was. He must be savage and cruel. Thank you for helping me."

Elanor then stood up, and Simon stood up too. He waited for what Eleanor would say again.

"I have to leave immediately. I hope I never see that creepy monster again."

Eleanor then walked and picked up the fruit basket she had dropped. Simon kept watching her. She seemed to have lost his voice, saying nothing.

"You should hurry home too. The monster may still be hanging around here. Oh yeah, I forgot to ask your name. What's your name? Looks like you're new to this town." asked Eleanor.

"Simon, my name is Simon," Simon answered.

"My name is Eleanor."

"Eleanor, I'll remember your name."

"Quickly leave this place, Simon. It's dangerous if the monster comes again. I have to tell the authorities about it."

"No, do not! I'm sure he's gone a long way. So he's not a threat anymore."

"But..." Eleanor's brows furrowed together over her big eyes. She disagreed with Simon's opinion. Even though the monster was gone but she still needed to tell what she saw.

"Don't worry. The monster is gone. I'll take you. Where is your house?" asked Simon.

"No need. I've thanked you enough for helping me, Simon."

"Wait!" Simon then immediately took the torch and gave it to Eleanor.

"But the streets are bright enough. The moonlight tonight is so bright. I don't need it. Take it for you!" Elanor Rejects the torch and thinks Simon needs it more. She thought that Simon was a wild boar hunter.

Simon ushered Elanor off until she met a pavement. After the woman left, Simon used his powers to follow in Elanor's footsteps until he reached the residence of Dowager Moreland.

After encountering Elanor, Simon tries to suppress the urge to drink blood. He didn't want his wolf to appear more often and frighten Elanor. Their first meeting made an impression on Simon's heart but not Eleanor's.

After that, Eleanor no longer ignored George's chatter. She regretted having doubted the boy's words because she had seen the creature George had told her about.

Eleanor decided to follow Simon's advice. She didn't tell anyone about the monsters she encountered, worried that the townspeople would be in an uproar and fear. After all, it's never heard again of animals that die by being bitten by wild animals.

Eleanor got off the horse-drawn carriage at a market to buy some groceries. She didn't realize Simon had followed her since she left the house. Not only that day, but Simon had also been watching Eleanor ever since they met.

There was a burning desire when he saw Eleanor. One day without seeing Elanor, Simon felt depressed. He couldn't bear to come and hug the girl but was afraid he couldn't control himself.

After finishing shopping, Simon saw Eleanor being harassed by two thugs who had been watching her for a long time.

"Give me your shopping cart! I'll help and take you home." A man tried to take the basket in Eleanor's hand forcefully.

"No, thank you." Elanor refused and looked uncomfortable.

Even though Eleanor had refused, the two men didn't stop and followed her anyway. Eleanor walked at a brisk pace. She suddenly shrieked when one of the men grabbed her by the shoulder and said insulting words.

Simon, who saw Elanor being bullied, burst into anger. He approached them with clenched fists and gleaming eyes.

"Let go, that woman. She's mine!"
