Chapter 418: Not Leaving
Cherish Turner had never thought that one day, a man would buy sanitary pads for her. But after laying her down on the bed, he turned and left. He only said three words without looking back, leaving her astonished and amazed, "I'll buy them."
In Cherish's memory, her father was a good man, a good husband, and, more importantly, a good father.
But even Father Turner had never done such a thing for her mother. Perhaps her mother had taken care of everything at home so well that her father had never bothered with housework or trivial matters, including... a small package of sanitary pads.
Cherish quietly lay on the bed with the fan blowing, her gaze drifting towards the sky outside the window.
It was still so blue.
