''Ahh now I know where to place you. How about you young-ens work as apprentices in the supplies department before you get a little older.''
Dansirs eyes lit up when he heard this.
''It would be our pleasure to work in the treasurer's Department.''
He quickly replied, as if afraid that the official would change his mind.
''Brilliant, I will show you the way, but I must ask that the rest of your warriors stay here before they are divided up.''
The official put on an unusually stern face and spoke seriously. This is a rule that can't be changed.
To prevent families from grouping together and overruling the generals and commanders, the forces will be divided up between multiple different squads.
Of course they can be brought back under the command of the ones who brought them here later on, but only once they have earnt their military positions.
As for why Dansir was so excited about becoming an Apprentice at the supplies area? It was one of the few danger free jobs that still have influence.
It is a position vied for by all warriors, but it is mostly occupied by rich people willing to bribe the officials.
Because for every year you work there, it is the equivalent of 10-50 beast kills depending on your position.
But more importantly, you can have first dibs on buying beasts killed by the soldiers! As long as you use your own money sneakily, the high level plane won't even investigate.
And Samuel has even heard rumours from other organisations on bluestar about their children sneakily taking some ruined pills that are produced without any consequences.
After all, the pills useful for weaker warriors can be produced by alchemists in batches of tens of thousands to millions! A few are bound to fail.
But even the failed product can help Low Rank 1 Warriors pile up to Middle Rank 1 with enough of them. So they are still worth a decent price.
And the failed products can't be distributed, so they are normally sold off by the High-level plane, but the people who take them are pretty much ignored as their value is negligible for the alchemists who made them.
All of this led Samuel to prepare 10,000 Spiritual Crystals so that Dansir could get into the Supplier Positions.
Even if it is just as apprentices, the lowest job there is, it is better than nothing!

Soon Dansir had entered the fortress, the streets were filled with weapons shops and military hospitals. And large barracks were constructed everywhere.
You could see people walking back and forth covered in blood, with wounds or with prey on their backs.
But they all went to the same place, a colossal building at the centre, only smaller than the giant spire in the fortress.
The colossal building was very similar to a street bazaar, except all of the people behind the counters were wearing the same outfit as the official who greeted them outside the building.
There were people of all ages, and Dansir could see many people the same age as him scrambling around behind older people.
However there were numerous transactions going on. Just the amount of beast corpses sold here could probably count for tens of thousands.
Not to mention there are many vials of Beast blood and other products.
''This is where you will work, here he is your master for now, listen to him carefully.''
The bribed official smiled happily before passing the four children off to a middle aged woman with a shrewd face.
''I'm the head of the first district supplier depot. Anything that you have to do goes through me. From now on you four will man these four counters. Inside of these boxes are the notes supplied to us.''
''Whenever you purchase something, write down the name and the purchase price. You can find the purchase price by putting the product you are buying on this scale.''
As the Shrewd lady spoke she pointed towards all sorts of contraptions on the four adjacent stalls that were to be run by the four siblings.
They were relatively obscure, among a crowd of many other younger children all desperately trying to get people to come over to their stalls.
Clearly it was quite a competitive market.
First she pointed at a tightly magically secured box, when it was opened it revealed thousands of pieces of paper.
However these pieces of paper weren't ordinary, they were heavily enchanted. When a price is written on them, they work similar to cheques. The warrior could go to the main treasury, or the spire in the city and trade the notes for Spiritual Crystals.
Or they can use the Cheques to buy weapons or Spiritual Pills from other areas in the Supplier Depot. These pills and weapons can only be purchased with the Cheques.
This is to prevent a warrior from causing trouble and directly stealing all of the crystals placed haphazardly around.
Of course it doesn't stop people buying things for their own money, and the higher ups don't care either. The bodies of Abyssal creatures are only an added bonus for them. Their own self protection is far more important.
After the shrewd lady left, Dansir turned towards his brother and sisters.
''We need to do well! Try hard to get promoted and become a supervisor, then we can have access to the abandoned Spiritual pills. Who knows, maybe in a few years of working we can become qualified to compete with Lily for the Position of Heir!''
Dansir showed ambition and hope on his face when he thought of the Heir Position.
From his birth he has learnt about the benefits of becoming heir. Even one of the close sisters born from his mothers friend was recruited by Lily to become an attendant pretty much.
He yearned for this type of power, being able to access the higher reaches in the organisation, and now there was a chance to get it!
Samuel told them that any Spiritual Pills provided to the family would be counted as the same value they would sell for.
So they could still be used to trade for warriors under their control.
And if Dansir earns enough, he can use some of his own warriors, massively increasing their strength.
