''You just have to tap Little Billy here on the shell three times.'' The snail said slightly. An imperceptible smile in his eye.

''Only three? Is there a time limit?'' In Samuel's interpretation snails have always been slow, and he can see that Little Billy is also a Middle Rank 2 Warrior.

''Heh young one, you are confident. Only three times and no time limit.'' The Old Snail answered.

''Go.'' He announced in a loud voice, but Samuel could clearly hear some laughter mixed in.

In an instant Samuel urged his full speed and ran towards Little Billy. His face turned confident when he was less than an inch away from the grey shell.

The next second, his face dropped again. The snail that was previously standing there suddenly disappeared.

Samuel hadn't even seen what had happened, only that Little Billy disappeared.

The next second Samuel saw Little Billy reappear behind him.

''Haha you'll have to be faster than that young one!'' The old Snail enjoyed this massively.

The whole purpose of him giving Samuel any trials was because he was bored. Otherwise why would such a powerful figure look at Samuel.

Samuel grit his teeth listening to the old snails taunting and rushed back towards Little Billy.

But like the last time, Little Billy disappeared in front of his face and reappeared ten metres to his right.

''Dam you slippery snail!'' Samuel continued to chase after Little Billy hoping that his speed could eventually catch up.

But after half a day of running like a headless chicken he didn't even touch the snail trail!

Thinking of plans, Samuel suddenly smiled. Faint white rings began to appear around his body. With a bang, he shot out like a rocket.

This was using the Horned Charge Warrior skill, but Samuel used his own body as the weapon!

Little Billy's antenna-like eyes showed a shocked look. He rushed to dodge, but this time he was too slow.

Samuel tapped his shell with a shocking speed. A satisfied smile on his face.

Only the Old Snail watched with a slight smile on his face. Such a move like Samuels might be smart, but what has he not seen in his life?

''Good job Young one, that's it. Two more times and you win!'' The Old snail laughed.

This time Samuel realised something. He didn't need to chase the snail directly.

After running towards the snail for so long, Samuel realised that except for speed the Snail is the same as ordinary Middle Rank 2 warriors.

So while he was chasing Little Billy to attempt to hit him for the second time, his finger gently tapped against the space ring out of Little Billy's perception range and a small cage flew out.

This is a Pseudo-Artifact that Samuel collected, it is mainly used to capture beasts for taming but it hasn't had too many uses for Samuel.

But now it is perfect.

The old snail glanced at the small object that flew in front of Little Billy and showed a bit of appreciation in his eyes.

Little Billy didn't notice. But as soon as Samuel approached Little Billy and he attempted to run away the small Cage appeared immediately growing to two metres tall.

He quickly realised he was stuck, and was about to use his full strength to break out, which would definitely shatter the cage but it took too long. Samuel had already appeared behind him, his fair palm tapping gently against the shell.

''Thats two!'' Samuel smiled.

''Don't get cocky now Young One, there's still one more point to go.'' The Old Snail laughed happily. He was definitely enjoying the show after thousands of years of boredom.

However the third time Samuel didn't find it so easy. He tried multiple other traps but Little Billy seemed to be on the lookout. His eyes scouting around, allowing to avoid any traps that Samuel places.

Another half a day passed, it was already dark out. But Samuel was still desperately chasing after Little Billy, not giving him a moment of rest.

He was starting to worry here, running doesn't take much energy for him or Little Billy. This could easily go on for a month!

But Samuel just didn't have any idea of how to catch Little Billy.

Soon a week passed, Samuel tried various different things, poisons, traps, bait and everything to catch Little Billy. But nothing worked since he was on guard.

However Samuel finally realised one of his advantages, the purity of his energy. Although Little Billy was very strong under the influence of the Eternal Tree, the amount of aura in his body is less than a half of Samuels original aura.

Not to mention now that Samuel doubled the size of his Aura Pond since arriving at the Eternal Tree!

He already started seeing signs of Little Billy slowing down. The previous month estimate is likely to only be another week if nothing unexpected happened.

And luckily nothing did. After another week of chasing Samuel managed to luckily catch up with Little billy.

This made Samuel happy especially when he heard the snail announce the results.

''Haha, not bad young one, you provided me two weeks of entertainment.'' In fact the Old snail held a bit of appreciation in his eyes.

He knew how powerful Little Billy is under the constant tempering of staying in the Eternal Tree. To be able to outlast him with Spiritual Energy capacity is a skill of its own.

And the rewards he offered Samuel are nothing but toys to him.

With a twitch of his beard, the Eternal leaf and Fragment of life landed in Samuels hands.

Samuel had already touched an Eternal Leaf before, there were not many differences in that.

But as soon as the glowing green crystal touched Samuels hand he was amazed. He felt a surging energy flow through his body, his previously empty abdomen space except for the Spiritual Pond showed shocking changes.

A small green aura appeared around the flowing white pool of Energy, slowly it started to condense into a towering tree.

At the same time every Dog of War, regardless of where they were or what they were doing felt a slither of their vitality leave their body and disappear into the air.

The Shadowy tree in Samuels Abdomen was almost translucent, but Samuel suddenly felt an incredible amount of energy pour into his body.

The tree solidified rapidly turning into a mighty oak tree. Behind Samuels now cross-legged body a giant tree appeared, fully formed, exuding a threatening and powerful aura.

Seeing the thirty metre tall tree appear behind Samuel the Old snail twitched his beard and muttered softly.

''Interesting, I wonder what this sapling will grow into.'' He spoke softly as he stared at Samuel.
