Chapter 144

Cansa actually has 12 more siblings who each have a Spiritual Root, and two siblings with 2 Inch Spiritual roots. Not to mention around 30 to 40 Mortal siblings.

The competition for inheritance and resources is tough in the family. And the Mensa Organisation hasn't been around long enough and doesn't have enough warriors to have a farm in the Eternal battlefield.

So the resources they have are very limited, even for a Rank E organisation.

Hence Cansa having to go all the way here to try to pursue a wife. In fact he has long since had his eyes on Amy. As a Rank 2 Warrior she would be a very good bonus for him and his organisation.

However he never had the chance to pursue such a talented beauty.

Until he heard that their entire family went into overdrive to search for their missing sisters.

He knew his chance had come.

Because he just happened to see something when he was returning from a bar one night, he was black out drunk and wanted to hit on a young girl.

But before he did anything he noticed a group of black robed figures surrounded the girl and kept her moving.

In fact this is also Samuels mistake. Under the begging of Rebecca he allowed her to leave the room for a day and go to a bar owned by his Dogs of War. he didn't expect someone to see her.

When Cansa remembered who he saw, he thought about alerting Abigail but then he decided to blackmail Amy with the information.

So he returned to the bar and followed the path he saw them taking. He saw them being taken to a large hall that had long been purchased by a mysterious buyer.

And after looking over it for a couple of months, he learnt that the stronger guard is only a High Rank 1 Warrior.

This was obviously after the battle with the large shadow, and while Samuel was avoiding the heat there were no rank 2 Warriors guarding the girls.

So he mistakenly thought that it was only a Rank F organisation that performed the theft.

Well technically it was. The Dog of War Organisation haven't made it public that they have a Rank 2 Warrior so they are still a Rank F organisation.

But he is definitely underestimating the Dogs of War.

All of this led to Cansa being undeniably confident when he was speaking to Amy.

''What do you think? The only way you can find your sisters is through me.'' Cansa said with a confident look.

He had long since done his research, they have been looking for at least 3 years now and there's not even a trace.

If it wasn't for his extensive research into Amys sisters he definitely wouldn't have recognised Rebecca when he saw her. ]

''What's to stop me forcing you to tell me?'' Amy spoke to her aggressively. Her eyes narrowed and a dangerous aura spread off of her.

''Haha I know you don't dare. Do you dare get another enemy of our Mensa Organisation?'' Cansa's face didn't change. He looked confident with his father as his backing.

Amy of course knew she couldn't make an enemy of them. She gritted her teeth and began thinking of a way to get out of this.

But just as she was thinking, the lights in the mansion cut uniformly.

''Noo Stop!!'' Suddenly a piercing scream rang throughout the house.

''Cary! Damn it!'' Amy stood up with a bang. Her aura being released fully.

Cansa also stood up and followed Amy who ran out towards her sister's room. This is the chance he has been waiting for. A time to make a good impression.

As a warrior, Amy could naturally see around in the dark. She ran quickly. The only thought in her head was to help Cary.

In her panic she didn't notice that a black armoured figure had appeared behind her since she left the dining room.

The mansion wasn't too large for a Rank 2 Warriors. Amy quickly reached Carys room.

It was a quaint pink room with fluffy toys spread around and dozens of pillows placed neatly on the bed.

Dismayed, Amy saw no Cary in the room. Only an open window blowing wind against the pink curtains.

''No I was too late!'' Amy shouted in anger. Planning to jump out of the window to track Cary down, she ran to the window sill.

Suddenly her eyes snapped back, her body spinning around too. In the dark hallway a set of footsteps echoed. Every step is like a loud drum.

Cansa next to her started to shudder. This aura is the same as his dads! What is a Middle Rank 2 Warrior doing here?

''What are you doing in my house? Where is Cary?'' Amy couldn't help but shout when she saw the armoured figure appear.

''You will see her soon enough.'' EG1 replied in a rough voice, his sword making a clunk as he pulled the blood red blade out of the sheath.

His words made Amy Anxious. This man was going to take action against her!

With anger she pulled out a small dagger and got into a fighting stance facing EG1.

EG1 looked at her mockingly, his deep lake of Spiritual Energy twisting as faint rings of light appeared around his sword.

''Amy back up! He's using a warrior skill !'' Cansa was the first to notice. Amy hadn't been exposed to Warrior skills before but he had seen his father use one.

Hearing the warning Amy jumped back just in time. EG1 charged forward at a shocking speed, the walls on both sides of the hallway crumbled directly causing the roof to shake before falling down.

EG1 turned his head slightly angrily, he didn't expect his attack to miss. His attention turned towards Cansa who warned him.
