Chapter Four

It was a Sunday morning and old max had just finished his breakfast.

Now a normal person would have a smile one their face after having their first meal of the day but not this old man.

"I don't understand why I can't go play golf Lydia"he grumbled to the nurse assigned to him.

"You know why max,you're sick and you need rest"

"But I play every Sunday morning"he whined like a baby.

Well,he might as well be a baby because he was just as helpless as a baby.

"I'm sick not weak"he countered back with a frown

"I'm sorry but your family gave me strict instructions not to let you out of bed unless you want to use the toilet"

Max muttered incoherent word under his breath.

"Fine.i can at least be left alone right?"

"Yes sir"

" So you may leave,thanks for your help"

"Alright,call me if you need anything"

He didn't bother to reply her so she took her clipboard and left his room.

When old max saw she was gone he took out his phone to call someone.

The person picked on the first ring

"Hello"Max said

"Yeah they agreed"

Only one side of the conversation could be heard

"I know"he said with a sign

"it's too late to say anything now besides I don't have much time"he said with a small snort.

"yeah,see you soon"

"Maybe after my burial sweetheart"

"Goodbye"

After hanging up old max laid on the bed staring at the ceiling deep in thought.

Then few minutes later his eyes closed..

Selena woke up confused, she had felt as if someone was getting on her bed.

She stretched her left arm to the left side of her bed searching for her phone.

She checked her phone and cursed when she saw the time.

"Mummy is that a bad word?"she heard Finn ask from the other side of the bed quietly almost in a whisper.

So that's why she woke up

"Yes, yes it is finnly"

"Aren't you going to greet mommy good morning"

"Good morning mummy"he beamed

"Good morning baby,come give mama a kiss"

"With a little struggle Finn climbed the bed"

After giving Selena a sloppy kiss on her right cheek she looks around.

"Where is Ollie?"she asked

"in the living room,aunt power rangers mia is letting him watch "

Selena groaned.

She has told mia times without number not to let Ollie watch anything that makes his imagination run wild.

She didn't want the kids watching anything violent so they don't put it to practice against each other or against their friends at school.

"Mia wouldn't just listen"Selena said through gritted teeth

Climbing of the bed she said"come on Finn let's go get breakfast"

Marching downstairs she found mia who was already preparing breakfast that was enough to feed five grown men

"Mia why is Ollie watching power rangers.again"

"Good morning to you too sels"she said arranging the cutleries on the dinning table

"You need to chill okay?

Ollie is a smart kid he won't do whatever you think he'll do"

Selena raised an eyebrow at her best friend

"we both know that isn't true mia, remember what he did to Cole in his class last month"

"His name is Collin mum"Finn corrected her with a tug on her pyjamas pant

"Same thing baby"Selena said distractedly

"And why are there many food isn't it against your diet"

"I need a little junk sels, just because I am a model doesn't mean I shouldn't enjoy myself"

"Right"Selena said with her lips pursed.

"So,are you going to tell me what happened at the hospital or should I die of curiosity"Mia said taking a sit

"Go and tell Ollie to brush his teeth, breakfast is ready and brush yours too"

"Okay mummy"Finn said and scurries off the only thing on his mind at the moment was eating the delicious breakfast aunt mia prepared.....

"So?spill I'm dying here"

"Okay,okay I just need to get it all together"Selena said and exhaled

"Fine make it quick"mia said and Selena gave her a look

"Sorry"mia apologized and leaned back against the chair she was sitting on.

Selena just rolled her eyes and started talking.

"As you know old max is dying"said selena

"yeah,who doesn't"mia said dryly

For some reason she does not think she'll ever understand mia has never liked max from the very beginning when they met at college.

"You know you've never told me why you don't like max"Selena said and mia winced as if Selena's word had hurt her

"somethings are left being unsaid"Mia said as if in a trance.

"what?"Selena said confused

"oh don't stop now Selena I'm dying to know here"

"alright"

"The thing is old max asked us to grant him a dying wish"Selena said with a frown just remembering what the wish was while mia resisted from snorting

"what was the wish?" mia questions always the impatient one

"He wants me to get married"

"oh,it's not the bad surely you'll get married someday"mia said but suddenly looking at Selena's face she knew there was more to it

"there's more?"mia asked leaning towards Selena very interested in hearing what Selena had to say

"yes,he wants me to get married to-"before she could finish her sentence Ollie and Finn came into the dinning room

"Good morning baby"Selena cooed at Ollie and he giggled

"Good morning mummy"he said trying to climb her legs to her lap

Seeing his struggle Selena laughed and decided to take pity on him by raising him up to her lap

After placing both boys in their high chair she served them breakfast and sat down to eat too.

Raising the spoon to her mouth she stopped seeing mia wasn't eating but staring at her.

"What?"Selena questioned

"What was the wish,I'm begging to think you keep me on suspense on purpose"

"Stop exaggerating mia I was just giving the kids breakfast"

"See, you're doing it again"mia said stabbing her pancakes and Selena gasped looking at the kids to see if they witnessed that little show of aggression

They didn't.

"What is the matter with you mia,the kids are here"Selena muttered through clenched teeth

"sorry"

"are you okay mia?,I've never seen you like this"Selena said"except.....did you see Bryan?"

"yes,now can you tell me what he wished for,that's enough suspense for a day"

"you are surely going to gist me about what went down between you and Bryan"

"Sure,sure but first it would be nice if you finish your story first"

"okay the thing is-"

"Mummy when are we seeing our brother again"

"Finn I have told you several times to stop interrupting me when I'm talking"

"Sorry mama"he said with his head down

"Did he find you a husband himself and the man has a child?"

*yes and yes mia"

"Do I Know this person at all"

"Yes mia"

"who is it then?"

"Harvey King"

"WHAT?? you mean my boyfriend???"
