Chapter 579: Return to the Capital City

What surprised William Cole was that Esme Garcia didn't stop him.

He even arranged a private jet to fly directly to Capital City Airport.

On the way to the airport, William tried to call Ruth Dawn's cellphone, only to find it was turned off.

Then, he called Minnie Wright, "Minnie, can you reach Ruth right now?"

"William, what's going on? Aren't you in the Philippines?"

"Vermilion Bird said you couldn't come back just yet, why are you suddenly asking for Ruth?" Minnie found this strange. She didn't ask why William suddenly called asking about Ruth — she wasn't the kind of woman who pestered people for no reason.

She knew that if William was calling, something must have happened.

William explained the car accident.

"The hospital called to tell me that Ruth had a car accident."

"I can't reach her at the moment. I've tried calling her multiple times, but her phone is off."

Minnie reassured him, then took out her cellphone to make a call, "Don't worry, let me try calling Ruth."
