A dazzling green, like a pearl hidden in the deep sea, released its most enchanting light the moment the shell was opened.
Old Master Chen was taken aback.
Even though he had braced himself, when that streak of green appeared, he was so shocked that he clenched the stone tightly.
It was as if he feared that a single careless move might let the stone fall to the ground!
Breathing nervously through his nostrils, Old Master Chen hurriedly put the stone down and, with trembling hands, took his glasses from the toolbox beside him and put them on.
"Imperial Green? Is it really Imperial Green?"
He carefully felt it while shining a light to peer inside.
He muttered to himself, "Rich and clear, I can't see a speck of impurity, could it be that today I've encountered a pure and flawless piece of Imperial Green rough?"
