Be his disciple?? Out of nowhere?
Of course, Jiang Ying Yue was happy that she could finally dispel this poison but the offer to be his disciple came to sudden. She was just helping him out of pity ah!!!!
The old man seemed to know what she was thinking thus he added "I know that this came too sudden. But I really want you to be my disciple. By the way, my name is Yan Hua. I am an alchemist at the level Celestial Alchimia. I am an elder at the Alchemist Guild which is the only alchemist guild in the whole East Continent. So now, are you willing?"
Willing? If she was not willing, the poison would not be treated and she couldn't cultivate. On the other hand, if she accepted to be his disciple, she could learn alchemy! But, she heard that to be an alchemist, they needed to have both mental strength and fire element.
But she clearly could not cultivate ah! Even if she could, what if her mental wasn't strong enough?
How could this old man be so confident?
"Sir, as far as I know, you need to be a fire element wielder and have a strong mental strength to be an alchemist. But I cannot even cultivate now. What if after you have dispelled my poison, it turns out that I am not a fire element wielder nor I have a strong mental strength?"
Hearing her question, Yan Hua chuckled "Little girl, I can see that you are definitely is a fire element wielder. And also, even if you don't fit both of the criteria, I can still impart my knowledge to you to become a doctor and poison master. How about that?"
"But before you accept or decline, know that I am a very strict teacher. You will be my first and only apprentice and I do not tolerate laziness. But, the benefit that you will get is also abundant. You well learn everything that I know so even if you are not good in cultivation, you still can be a doctor, alchemist or poison master in this world. Think about it carefully.
Jiang Ying Yue heard him and thought deep and hard. But it didn't take long before she answers after weighing the pros and cons "Sir, I accept to be your disciple. Do I need to perform any ceremony to signify this?"
Yan Hua was very satisfied with this disciple of his.
"You only need to kowtow to me now three times and later on, when you come to my house, only then you need to serve me tea."
Without further ado, Jiang Ying Yue kowtowed to him three times signifying her respect and acceptance to be his disciple.
"You don't have to worry about anything. 5 days later, I will head over to your house and meet our parents. Then, you will follow me and I will dispel the poison in your body."
"Understood, master."
Her voice had just ended when the figure in front of her suddenly turned into a blur and went missing.
'His cultivation must be high too' she thought.
Walking out of the forest, she saw the frantic looking face of her brothers looking for her along with the others.
"Brother Qiu, I am here!" Jiang Ying Yue called.
Seven pair of eyes looked at her.
A whoosh sounded and Jiang Xiang basically flew to her.
Holding onto her shoulder, he reprimanded "Where did you go? Brother Qiu said he saw you walking toward the forest but after that, you did not come out for a long time! We got worried and looking for you here but we could not find you! Where did you go? Do you know how worried we are?"
He was anxious. He would be dead if anything happen to her.
Jiang Ying Yue then recounted back of what happened. From when she heard people scolding an old man, to her scolding that man to the old man wanting her to be his disciple and her accepting it. But she felt weird. They were not even deep in the forest. They were clearly near the lake. But why did they say that they couldn't find her?
What Jiang Ying Yue did not know was, the minute Wu Liang left, Yan Hua immediately sealed a part of the area where they were at so that people could not see or hear them.
Hearing her story, Jiang Qiu and Xuan Shanyuan frowned. An old man with a high cultivation who is also an alchemist wanted Jiang Ying Yue to be his disciple?
There story must've not been as easy as she made it seem that attracted him to her. They wondered what.
But Jiang Qiu did not care. He was only concerned about her safety. Knowing that she was okay, his face looked less tensed than before.
"Yue'er, please do not worry us again like that next time. If something like happens again, just call out to us and we will be here. Okay?"
And as for the matter for being a disciple, he would just wait till Yan Hua comes to his manor.
But before they could move, Jiang Ying Yue's eyes promptly turned cold again albeit it was just a flash. But it was noticed by both Jiang Qiu and Xuan Shanyuan.
She looked at Xuan Jinhai. "Your highness, please do forgive me for being blunt but I would like to say something in regards to your restaurant. It's a good thing that your business is prosperous and famous among nobles but I think you should also pay attention to your workers. Just because the customers are nobles, doesn't mean that they should fawn over them till they disregard the commoners. I don't mean that you should invite commoners inside and feed them for free but at least, be strict to you workers so that they will treat customers professionally instead of basing their level of treatment based on the person's status."
She continued "I also hope that this will not happen again. What if they suddenly offended someone that they shouldn't? Wouldn't that bring your business down? There are always people more powerful and more influential than the other in this world. You will never know who they are. Again, forgive me for being blunt and sorry if I offended you."
With that, she bowed down slightly and walked away. The Jiang brothers hastily bid goodbye and went after her.
She was still angry. She was a 21st century person and wasn't even used to this hierarchy thingy so she just said whatever she had in her mind. Well, if they couldn't even take criticism, how will they grow then?
Xuan Shanyuan, Xuan Jinhai, Tang Liwei and Li Zhiqiang were all stunned in their places. Li Zhiqiang's mouth was wide agape that even an egg could fit it.
Damn, that little girl was so fierce!
Looking at Xuan Jinhai's face, Li Zhiqiang found hat not only he was not angry, but he also had a smile on his face.
Xuan Jinhai was initially surprised but he also felt that it was mesmerizing that a 13 year-old little girl scolded him, a 21 year-old man. But, he also knew that what she said was true. That was why he smiled.
No one had ever act so real with him before especially girls. He was really disgusted with them which explained why even though he was already 21 years old, he was still unmarried. He did not even have concubines in his palace. Well, in this cultivation world, his father emperor was going to rule the country for a long time so no one ever forced him.
But this young lass dared to scold him? Interesting.
Not only him, even Xuan Shanyuan thought Jiang Ying Yue was interesting. His interest was piqued.
