Davis's expression turned shocked to sense that the quality of heaven and earth energy was different here. Not only was it somewhat different, but this energy appeared to be hostile- no, repelling from him, refusing to be absorbed into his body.

Abruptly, Davis's soul extended out of his body like tentacles, turning into hands as they grabbed each and every one of his people. He belatedly noticed a figure dashing towards him, but that wasn't on his mind as his senses caught sight of an individual sitting near a mountain peak.
"Oh? You noticed?"
These words resounded from a man, yet the moment he heard them, he felt himself turn lighter. When he realized he was already standing on top of another location adorned and beautified by a different sight. As he turned to look around, he saw that he had fortunately managed to arrive with the people he had touched.
