Kael Frostborn

"Silence, Kael Frostborn! Do you think Julius actually desired the death of Master Frostfire? No one at the Tower of the Gods Academy wishes for the Masters to perish like that. What Julius did was an act of a Knight, as taught in our Academy. Didn't the academy head explain that the actions taken by him were justified?" Amara Gold retorted, not accepting Kael Frostborn's harsh words towards Julius.

"I didn't expect a daughter of the Tower's leader like you to still defend him. Just so you know, the people from the Water Dragon Tower despise you because their tower head died due to the negligence of the one you defend," Kael Frostborn countered.

"Then why don't you blame yourself for the incidents that have befallen the academy? Wasn't the attacker also like you? And as far as I know, he's the new leader of the Blackthorn Family. That means people with like you are just trash who only bring chaos," Dorian Star retorted angrily this time in response to Kael Frostborn's words. The young man was truly disgusted by Kael Frostborn's habit of always blaming Julius. He believed Kael Frostborn himself was a bad student for the Tower of the Gods Academy. Kael Frostborn often caused trouble, even disrupting other academies, which often led to reprimands from the tower head. If it weren't for the good relationship between the head of the Earth Dragon Tower and Kael Frostborn's father, the young man would have been expelled long ago.

"You dare insult my family!" Kael Frostborn shouted furiously.

"Isn't that an undeniable fact? The person who attacked the Tower of the Gods Academy was a man like you."

Kael Frostborn, who kept receiving counterattacks from Dorian Star defending Julius, grew increasingly angry and ready to attack Dorian Star. Of course, if that happened, Dorian Star wouldn't be a match for Kael Frostborn. Dorian Star was still at the fifth level of the Heavenly Realm after undergoing rigorous training, while Kael Frostborn was now at the ninth level, even higher than Julius's realm.

"It seems you need to be taught a lesson first so your mouth won't speak recklessly!" Kael Frostborn yelled angrily.

"That statement should be directed at yourself!" Dorian Star retorted, equally fierce.

"You insolent!"

Enraged, Kael Frostborn immediately unleashed his power to attack. Mastering the unique sky-quaking sword technique of the Tower of the Gods Academy, Kael Frostborn attacked Dorian Star with it. Without hesitation, Kael Frostborn used this high-level technique to teach his fellow tower mate a lesson. However, this technique was usually reserved for finishing off enemies.

Blaaarrrr!

Kael Frostborn was thrown back several spear lengths, blood gushing from his mouth. Instead of him teaching Dorian Star, a lesson, it was him who received the lesson. Somehow, Julius managed to move from his position, suddenly appearing in front of Dorian Star to intercept Kael Frostborn's attack. He merely emitted a little lightning elemental energy from his body, but even that was enough to send Kael Frostborn, whose attack directly hit the surge of energy, flying.

Everyone who witnessed it was stunned, including Dorian Star and Amara Goldn who were nearby. They couldn't believe the immense power possessed by Julius. Just staying still and emitting a little energy was enough to defeat Kael Frostborn, whose cultivation realm was still above Julius's. Although they had heard of Julius defeating opponents single-handedly, everyone knew that the young man also received energy guidance from the Masters. In reality, remaining silent in a fight won with the help of the Black Phoenix, the Legendary creature.

"Hmmm... It seems your attitude is that of a thug. I don't understand why the headmaster still keeps you in this academy. Are you trying to show off your strength here?" Suddenly, Master Rylan appeared and gave Julius a stern reprimand. He misunderstood, thinking the disturbance was started by the young man. His face showed great anger, especially since he had been the one most saddened by the loss of Master Kaelen Frostfire.

"Father! Why are you blaming Julius? It was that Kael who started this commotion," objected Rylan Amara Goldn, looking annoyed with her father's words.

"Why are you so disrespectful to contradict your father's words like this? Everyone in the Tower of the Gods Academy knows that this boy caused the death of several Masters. Do you still want to defend him?" Master Rylan barked, showing his stern demeanor.

"Father!"

Rylan Amara Goldn, who looked angry at her father, shouted at the old man before running away. Master Rylan knew that his daughter was currently sulking because of his remarks that offended Julius earlier. However, the old man paid no attention to his daughter's attitude. Instead, he approached Julius with a stern look.

"Quickly pack your things and leave! You can find another tower that will accept you. Or you can just go directly to the academy head who, for some reason, protects you," Master Rylan said to Julius.

 Julius, not wanting to prolong the issue, nodded and bowed respectfully to his master. He then left the place and headed to his room to pack. His departure was met with sadness by Dorian Star and his two friends. Meanwhile, on Kael Frostburn's side, he looked very pleased with what had happened. His provocation against the Earth Dragon people had succeeded.

A few moments later, Julius appeared carrying a bundle of clothes. He then bid farewell to Dorian Star and the others. Afterwards, Julius left the Earth Dragon Tower and headed towards the Tower of the Gods.

Upon arriving in front of the Tower of the Gods, Julius immediately knelt down. He didn't speak right away but remained silent for a moment. Julius hesitated to express his feelings, especially when he remembered Master Magnus Raven's words earlier in the medical room. The old man had emphasized that they would keep Julius as a student of the Tower of the Gods Academy no matter the risks.

"What's the matter, my child?"

Master Magnus Raven's voice was heard from inside the Tower. His voice sounded heavy, indicating that the old man was still injured. Knowing this, Julius felt even more hesitant to express his true intentions.

"Have you been expelled by Master Rylan from the Academy? If so, you can stay in the small building next to the tower while continuing your training so that I can monitor your progress. I see that although you are already capable of controlling lightning elemental power very strongly, everything is at risk of damaging the martial spirit within your body and destroying your physical body. It would be best if you don't use elemental control techniques often until at least you have reached the Fairy Realm," advised Master Magnus Raven.

"Yes, Master," Julius replied heavily. In truth, the young man had intended to ask permission to leave the Tower of the Gods Academy. However, after learning that the headmaster was still injured, he abandoned his intention, waiting for the right time to express his desire.
