Grand Masters

The mysterious man dressed in all green who kept monitoring the battle between Julius and the two individuals dressed in all red seemed to be in cahoots with them. Seeing his comrade perish, he intended to intervene to finish off Julius. The presence of this person was also noticed by Galen Blackthorn and Julius's three other companions. Their faces turned pale as they realized that a greater danger was approaching.

"Scoundrel! Whose power is this in the realm of semi-gods? Seems like I should retreat from this place for now."

The mysterious man dressed in all green abandoned his intention to approach Julius and the others. How could such a strong power from a cultivator in the realm of demigods be present here? The man in green attire was already at the fifth level of the fairy realm. Yet, he sensed the presence of someone with an aura referred to as Divine, indicating they were far above him.

Not long after the departure of the man in green attire from the scene, Magnus Raven, the head of the Tower of the Gods Academy, appeared with his deputy and three chief dragon tower masters. The Earth Dragon Tower Master, seeing his students battered and bruised, immediately approached Julius who was lying unconscious.

"What happened?" Master Rylan Dragon asked Galen Blackthorn.

"We were attacked by unknown assailants, master, while we were training. Two individuals attacked us, and another person elsewhere was approaching us, but for some reason, they suddenly vanished," Galen Blackthorn replied, a little flustered.

Master Rylan Dragon glanced towards Dorian Star and the other two as if seeking confirmation from the three students. Simultaneously, all three nodded in agreement with Galen Blackthorn's statement. Master Rylan continued to check on Julius's condition.

"Then where did these attackers go?" Master Rylan Dragon inquired again.

"Two of them were killed by Julius, master, while the other one didn't actually attack us. Perhaps they knew of your arrival, the esteemed masters, and thus didn't dare to attack and fled," Galen Blackthorn answered.

Rylan Dragon fell silent. He continued to examine Julius's condition, often furrowing his brow. Occasionally, he would sigh and shake his head.

"Do you know at what level the enemies he faced were?" Master Rylan asked.

Master Magnus Raven and Master Kaelen Frostfire began to exchange glances when Master Rylan's question shifted to what he considered a serious matter. In fact, Master Frostfire and Master Magnus Raven had deduced that the enemies Julius faced were at the second level of the semi-fairy realm. However, what they didn't understand was how the students could face opponents at that level when most of them were in the heavenly spirit realm.

"Did anyone assist you in facing the enemies?" Master Kaelen Frostfire asked this time.

For a moment, Galen Blackthorn was puzzled by the serious tone of the two grandmasters' questions, unsure which one to answer first. Before he could respond to Master Rylan Dragon's question, Master Frostfire earnestly inquired. The young man was truly perplexed by the serious demeanor of the grandmasters.

"The enemy we faced was at the second level of the semi-fairy realm. Both of them were killed by Julius. No one assisted us," explained Galen Blackthorn, who promptly answered the second question of the two grandmasters.

"Very strange. The last time this child trained with me, he was still at the Peak Ninth Level of the Earth Spirit Realm. It feels highly improbable that he could defeat a cultivator at the second level of the semi-fairy realm," murmured Master Kaelen Frostfire, whether the statement was directed to someone unclear.

Everyone fell silent, lost in their own thoughts, especially the head of the Tower of the Gods Academy. Quietly, he exerted his eye power to examine Julius's condition. The Head of the Tower of the Gods Academy seemed very serious as he inspected the young man's body.

"Julius has successfully broken through to the fifth level of the heavenly spirit realm, master!" exclaimed Galen Blackthorn.

"Ah. Has this child taken the divine pill I gave him, hence daring to take the risk of enhancing his cultivation?" exclaimed Master Kaelen Frostfire, somewhat surprised.

"It seems he did indeed swallow the pill you gave him, Master Frostfire. However, even though he has successfully elevated his spiritual power to the fifth level of the heavenly spirit realm, it is still impossible for him to defeat an opponent at the second level of the semi-fairy realm," the Head of the Tower of the Gods Academy began to speak up.

The other Masters nodded in agreement with Master Magnus Raven's statement. Never in the history of cultivator battles has a cultivator at the heavenly spirit level won against a cultivator at the semi-fairy level. Let alone facing enemies who are already in different realms, it's very rare to happen even at different levels.

"Can you tell us how it happened?" Magnus Raven, the head of the Tower of the Gods, asked Galen Blackthorn.

Galen Blackthorn then recounted all the events he had experienced. From the arrival of the two individuals dressed in all red who were indeed looking for Julius, to their involvement in the fight while Julius was still cultivating. Galen Blackthorn detailed everything that happened, until the enemies were defeated by Julius himself.

"The Soul-Devouring Demon Sword Technique? Is it true that the enemy used that technique?" Master Magnus Raven asked, ensuring which was responded to by simultaneous nods from the four students. The Head of the Tower of the Gods Academy then continued the conversation, "This technique is one of the forbidden techniques and high-level techniques of demon cultivators. Used by cultivators at the semi-fairy level, although not as powerful as it should be, it still cannot be resisted by cultivators at the heavenly spirit realm."

What the head of the Tower of the Gods explained was affirmed by the other four grandmasters. It was considered impossible for Julius to confront an opponent at the semi-fairy realm, especially when the enemy used that forbidden technique.

"What? The Divine Thunder Sword Technique: Universe Breaker?" exclaimed the grandmasters almost simultaneously, showing their astonishment.
