91. Meeting An Old Friend 1

The time when Neo captured Clementine.

After sending away Aura and the adventure group, Neo sat on his throne, deep in thought.

Neo had always been worried about his physical body and what was happening to it. But no matter what he did, he couldn't find it, nor Alfa. Even an omniscient being like her couldn't locate it, which worried him even more.

But the only thing she said was, "Your body is somewhere in this world."

"But how am I supposed to find my body in this huge world? If only there was the internet, things might have been a little easier," Neo thought.

Just then, a voice transmission came from Demiurge.

"Neo-sama, I have caught an interesting guy. I think he is from the world we came from."

Neo was surprised. "How can you be so sure?"

"Because he called me Demiurge when he first saw me."

Neo became interested in this guy. "Okay, bring him back with you, and don't do anything to him. By the way, did you finish the job I gave you before?"

"Neo-sama, don't worry. It will be done today, and I will be back tomorrow morning."

"Isn't that too fast? How much time has it been? Did he kill all of them?" Neo thought anxiously.

On the other side, Demiurge looked at the handsome guy who was 1.80 cm tall with long black hair and a straight nose. Even while standing there, he charmed quite a few ladies.

Looking at him, Demiurge once again asked, but a little more politely this time, "Can you please tell the truth? How did you know my name?"

The person standing in front was trembling visibly. It wasn't because Demiurge was strong, but because he knew who Demiurge was, or rather, where he was from.

Please, I... I can't reveal that," the black-haired person stammered nervously.

Demiurge narrowed his eyes, assessing the situation. "You must understand the seriousness of this situation. Refusing to cooperate could have dire consequences."

"I... I understand," the black-haired person replied, swallowing hard.

Demiurge sighed softly, then nodded. "Very well. For now, come with me to Nazarick. Neo-sama will decide what to do with you."

Demiurge could only bring him back to Nazarick to Neo-sama.

"Alright, just stay here. I will be right back. And if you try to move, you know what I will do to you, right?"

Without waiting for a reply, Demiurge suddenly vanished, leaving the person standing there stupefied and unsure of what to do.

However, he didn't run away. Not because he was afraid, but because he knew Demiurge wouldn't be able to harm him. Even the most powerful adventurers, SSS level included, wouldn't be able to do it.

After an hour or so, Demiurge returned and found that the person was still there.

"You're smart as well. Good," Demiurge thought. Because of his fear, the person didn't run away, but he was far from the truth.

As they started their journey to Nazarick...

In the Alfa spaceship, everyone had gotten ready. Their clothing styles looked similar to those of people from the new world.

"Seriously, what kind of clothes are these? Do I really have to wear them?" Thor asked, dissatisfied with the clothing they had to wear as per the leader's orders.

"Yes, you have to. Otherwise, don't come to me for a month," Captain Marvel said, with a hint of threat in her tone.

Hearing this, Thor silently started to wear his clothes without any further complaints.

All the girls giggled upon seeing him.

Tony shook his head. "Actually, Thor is right. These clothes are really beyond my imagination. I feel weird wearing them."

"Okay, no more complaints. It's what we have to do if we want to blend in with the people from this world without arousing suspicion," Natasha said in a serious tone.

Everyone understood why she was like this, but they just wanted to lighten the mood.

Somewhere in the new world, a green-skinned person stood outside a facility, which looked no different than usual but the green person was sweating profusely.

The special items that arrived yesterday had now disappeared, and nobody knew who took them. They were certain their employer would not let this go, and any small mistake could be a death sentence.

One of the lower-ranking individuals asked nervously, "Sir, what do we do now?"

The green-skinned captain looked at the person who asked the question.

"Do you even need to ask? Save yourselves if you can. There's no escaping this. We've made a huge blunder. This world is vast; go wherever you can and hide."

After saying this, the captain jumped onto his vehicle, which was bike-shaped but with a distinct design, and rode away.

The person stood there, stunned, watching his captain flee. After snapping out of his stupor, he too ran away, informing his junior at the facility.

And just like that, a massive number of aliens fled into this new world. What would become of them in the future, only God knows.

After traveling the whole night, Demiurge and the black-haired guy finally arrived at their destination.

Upon entering the well-equipped walls, they found a tunnel leading to underground facilities.

The black-haired person was already in a trance; the more he saw this place, the more familiar it felt.

Upon arriving outside the throne chamber, Demiurge stopped and turned toward the black-haired guy.

"No matter what you do, show respect to Neo-sama inside."

The black-haired person nodded, though his mind was elsewhere.

After Demiurge opened the huge door and walked in, the black-haired person followed closely behind.

When he saw the person on the throne, he blurted out subconsciously, "Momonga..."

Neo, who was sitting on the throne, saw the newcomer and was so shocked that his skeletal jaw nearly dropped to the floor.
