Meeting James Again

When William and his goons had disappeared from view, Michael turned to face James, who had hopped down from the top of the roof. The old mage leveled Michael with a critical look as he walked up to him. A sword made of ice manifested in his right hand, while hand sized fragments of ice appeared all around him, threatening to shoot at Michael.

"Who might you be? And why are you showing off the Henshaw Family's insignia like it's some trophy?" The older man sounded angry.

"Calm down, James. Let us talk inside." Michael tilted his head in the direction of the tavern by the guild hall. It would be relatively empty at this time of day, with the sun still high up in the sky.

James frowned at how casual Michael was being, but ultimately decided to play along for now. He would get down to the bottom of this no matter what.
