CHAPTER 12:MORE THAN FRIENDS.

When I finally regained my voice I said "what the fuck jack!"i snapped I wasn't pissed off.i wasn't expecting the kiss."what do you mean?" "What do I mean ?"i repeated.his hand was still around my waist."firstly,let go of me.i'm not comfortable"i said."why don't you feel comfortable?" 'was that suppose to be a question?'i thought. "is it because I'm not Kelvi" "why must you bring him into every conversation of ours?"i said. 

"i must, Because you only listen to me only when you hear his name." he said in one breath."what have you been thinking about recently?. Come on jack I didn't say I was going to reject you neither did I say I was going to accept your proposal.could you please stop blaming Kelvi."i said bluntly.

"jenny,I want us to be more than friends,I Know you want this to, just..."

"how do you know that I want to be in a relationship with you?.i don't have any other feeling except for friendship." "am I not good enough for you?" "what the fuck jack!"I said irritatedly.then, continued "who wouldn't love you?.Hell , you are hot,handsome, caring,most especially you're romantic.who wouldn't want you to be their lover..."

"...i also want such a guy but definitely not you. You're my bestfriend for god damn sake.i can't possibly date you." I said.He just stared at me."i'm sorry for putting our friendship on the line."jack said releasing his hand from my waist."and I'm sorry for not feeling the same way." I felt guilty.

"it's not your fault jenny,I should have warned my heart against loving you.i should not have questioned your relationship with kelvi." jack said , turning toward the door .I helhis hand ."we can still be friends,we can still be bestfriends.right?."I asked.jack smiled and released his hand from my grasp and left.i couldn't believe jack loved me.what the fuck I can't believe it.still in daze I sat down.it was like a dream.tjough I use to think of him it doesn't mean I love him,I mean it's more like one sided love.

I came to a conclusion to avoid both Kelvi and jack.i walked to class hoping jack wouldn't be there.if I see him I will die of embarrassment.

Getting to the door I took a sharp breath and entered the class.chloe was busy writing I smiled thanking my stars."What are you doing chloe?.you seem so serious."i said jokingly.chloe quickly hid what she was writting under her desk.

"what the fuck Chloe! Whatever you're hiding show it to me"i said sitting at her front.she hesitated."promise you won't laugh at me "chloe said calmly."promise you? Okay Chloe I promise I won't laugh.are you satisfied? Now show me."i said.she hesitated,then she brought out a piece of paper designed in love shape.i was amazed 'could it be a confession letter .'

i thought.i squealed excitedly in my head.she put the piece of paper on the table.i took it quickly and read out loud.*DEAR JACK* the heading gave me  goosebumps.i looked at Chloe,all she did was blush and look away.then I continued.*from the first time you stepped your foot into this school,I knew you had great potential.Ever since you smiled at me on your first day at school I started to develop feeling for you.i became close to jenny because of you, I'm sorry for using your best friend for my own selfish reasons.i remember the day I wanted to sit next to you,you weren't that friendly with me. truth to be told I really like you but I can't just bring myself to tell you ,that's why I'm writing to you.one more thing I want you to be my partner for the freshman party.i will be waiting for your reply. CHLOE.* 

"wow Chloe the last part was so straight forward."i was amazed."do you think he will accept to be my partner." she asked."i really don't know chloe."i said truthfully."jenny, please do me a favor." she asked."that depends on what your favor is about."i said ."deliver the letter to jack for me."Chloe wards dropped like bomb in my ears."No I can't." I refused bluntly."but he is your bestfriend."chloe pointed out.

"yes , he's my boyfriend."bestfriends don't kiss right? the question echoed in my head.why is destiny playing with me, Chloe like the person I just kissed "jenny,what are you thinking about?"i was shocked "nothing, I'll go home now."i said."Will you deliver my letter jenny ?"chloe asked "okay, I will "i took the letter and dug it my bag."you owe me one Chloe." "anything you want jenny." Chloe said.she smiled warmly.i can't help but feel like I'm betraying her.she's also your friend,tell her,I'm sure she would understand."chloe I don't want to hurt you,if by chance I do, please forgive me "i said."what do you mean?"chloe asked her face morphed in confusion."Nothing I'll get going."i said and turned quickly toward the door.

"wait jenny ,it depends on what you do,but I surely try my best to forgive you.okay." Chloe said.i turned to look at her.'i really don't want to hurt her'.I opened the door and left quickly "why did she have to like jack? Why?"the question pondered in her head.
