- Freya POV -

Today is Athena's birthday and we were going to all eat together even Alice came this morning to join us. Nova wasn't down yet and the food is almost done, I haven't learned all the new recipes that they learned from Nova so I am standing back observing. it's nice watching my daughter have fun with her friends, but I am not the only one to notice the lack of a person.

"Is Nova still not up yet? I will go and get him!" little princess jumps up from her spot on the counter and heads for the door.

"Wait Alice I need your help with this real quick, mom you should go wake him up." Alice turns around confused but ends up helping Kia mix some eggs while Kia adds in some other ingredients. I turn around and head toward the staircase but I can't help but feel something is wrong. why didn't Kia ask me to help her instead of the princess? maybe I am still just too much on edge and looking out for a shoe to drop.

Heading up the stairs I turn left to get to Nova's room at the end, I knock on the door and call out for him.

"Nova? are you awake yet?" not hearing a response I double-check with the trick he taught me to sense for other devils with demonic energy and I feel him in there, after a moment of it not moving I realize he is still asleep and knocks a little harder.

"Nova! you should wake up! we are about to start breakfast soon and Athena wanted us all to eat together!" no response and his energy isn't changing and I hear a shout from down the staircase.

"Mom sometimes he doesn't get up so you have to wake him up, he wouldn't want to miss breakfast it's his favorite meal of the day!" again she sounds like she is up to something but I put it aside and open the door finding the other side completely black, remembering where his window is I walk toward it to open the curtains.

"Nova they told me you wouldn't want to miss breakfast so I am here to wake yo-" I turn around after opening the curtains to see Nova is indeed still asleep, but that's not the problem. the problem is he is completely nude without anything covering him. I freeze, not because it's my first time seeing a naked man but because I don't want him to misunderstand or for anyone else to. I would hate to be kicked out if they think I am just a horny succubus, but that's when I realize this is most likely all my daughter's idea.

She knew! I could tell something was up and she had sent me into the room knowing full well he most likely always sleeps like this if the pile of clothes on the side of the bed is any indicator. I shake my head at my daughter's antics of trying to cause trouble, but if she expected me to run out embarrassed or something then she was dead wrong.

Approaching the bed I look over my savior's body, his muscles are extremally defined. his face is attractive, especially with those ears they are not as long as a dark elf but the point they have adds a nice touch. he is tall but not a giant by any means, tall enough to make me feel small though. looking at the part I was trying to avoid I realize it might be one of the biggest I have seen, I wonder if that's a common size for devils or is he just different. I let out a sigh as I look back at his beautiful eyes and the- wait eyes?!?!?

"Good morning Freya." he makes no moves to cover himself as I am rooted in place, did I really just get caught looking at his dick?

"Good morning Nova, I came to let you know we are eating soon together for Athena's birthday. they told me you wouldn't want to miss it so I came to see if you were up." saying up I unconsciously look back down again, he is definitely up that's for sure.

"Oh, I see thank you Freya I appreciate you waking me up so I didn't miss it." I nod before snapping myself out of it. dang girl get it together, so what if it's been years, you should be the one seducing not getting seduced.

"No problem Nova I am happy to help when I can~" and there is THE stupefied look, I knew I still had it. wait what's with that grin?

"I am sure you could help with a few things but we can't be late downstairs. Kia would never let up with her teasing if I did anything with you before setting her straight." I nod agreeing since I know I would do the same in her position. "I will see you downstairs once I get dressed." I turn around and head out the door but not before getting one last look.

- Nova POV -

Succubus charm man, even if they don't use it they still can pull at the heartstrings. I wonder how mad Athena would be if I did jump Freya on her birthday instead of her. whatever it's not like she is in a rush to go anywhere, Kia isn't in a rush to go anywhere so neither will her mom.

Getting dressed I head downstairs, sliding down the rail I already smell the food and get excited. rushing into the kitchen I see Alice is here and ruffle her hair messing it all up. she begins throwing a fit as I wrap Athena in a hug and give her a big kiss.

"Happy birthday." she smiles and nuzzles into my neck and I slip a hand off her lower back and grab a plate from beside Kia that she seems to just have made.

"Thanks, Nova, are you serious?" she realized what I was doing and I quickly set the plate down before she gets any ideas.

"What? it's not like I was just interacting with you because you were in the way of the food or anything." she lets out a sigh before pushing me back into a stool and jumping into my lap.

"Well since you have admitted I am more important than breakfast to you then you can feed me first." she shows a triumphant grin and I sweat, this girl is picking up too many of Kia's tricks. I glare at the offending maid who has somehow got me twice this morning and she has a pitiful look of 'it is not me. ' but as she turns to grab the plates to give out I see her devilish smirk.

this little troublemaker is asking for it! I file this incident for later I grab a plate and a fork and feed my wife as she hums contently.

A man walks into the living room as we all are sitting around playing shoots and ladders, Athena walks in behind him and looks nervous. this must be her dad whom we have been waiting to show up before we go started. I stand up from the table and walk over and reach out for a handshake. the man seeing my gesture mimics it and we shake hands, or rather he tries to break mine and I have an iron-like vice on his in return.

"Nice to meet you, sir, Athena has told me much about you." Athena looks behind her into the hallway where I can't see and as I try to peek at what she is looking at I see a head of short red hair cut Infront of Athena.

"So your the one who thinks he can take my daughter from me huh?" a girl with much the same style of dressing as Athena knocks away the hand in my grip before replacing it. she also tries to squeeze my hand off but I smile as I flip on Bune. her grip softens as she slaps my shoulder and starts to laugh. "I like him already he seems like an alright guy, I told you, George. my daughter wouldn't pick a useless person to be her husband!"

Athena meanwhile has gotten out from behind the red dragoness and is looking supremely embarrassed. this is Gloria without a doubt in my mind, she didn't birth Athena but she raised her and Athena took after her as best she could. I don't know which one of George's thirteen wives birthed Athena but I hope to meet her eventually too. I guide them to the main room that has all the drinks and other stuff like homemade buffalo dip, well a knockoff of it, and also some other novelty foods.

"Mom come here for a second." Athena leads Gloria off since she kind of latched onto me with Bune on and I need to watch out for the look George is giving me.

"So, you are the one who helped Athena get strong so fast as well right?" I hope to give him and his wife pieces since they are important people to Athena and I don't want them to get killed if I could have helped. no queen pieces but rooks or knights will do for them and they are both peak demon emperors and will most likely break into demon overlords. they will still have to learn territory to be a real overlord but they will have the raw stats of one.

I got Paglio to write down a guide to learn it for normal people since the way I did it likely won't work for him and plan to give it to him with the other stuff.

Laying back on the couch I get a massage from Kia as punishment for earlier, a little cheap for my taste but she got it coming one way or the other.

"They're gone. I don't get why they didn't want to stay the night here though, we have plenty of rooms." Athena flops onto the couch setting her head on my lap.

"Athena." Kia calls out.

"Yes?"

"What is your bloodline ability?" Athena sits up and answers.

"I have to be a virgin till this specific birthday so I get a straight promotion even if it's across a bottleneck or into a realm that I wouldn't normally be able to reach."

"And has it activated?" she nods confirming it. "so you no longer have to be a virgin as of now?" Athena nods almost eagerly before realizing why her parents left.

"Won't lie, if I was your dad and knew my daughter was about to get railed they would have had to kill me to get me to not break the guy's legs, even if he was a good guy. I do not have a daughter yet but I already feel like I couldn't walk out as your dad did." Athena coughs and needs a drink before she stops, meanwhile sneaky Kia gives me a wink and slips off undetected by Athena.

"Well momma pulled him by the skin on his waist, I was wondering why he looked almost green when she started dragging him saying it was time to go." she sets her cup down and takes a glance over at me before looking away just as fast. "so are we going to..."

"What was that?"

"Are we going to go upstairs now?" I nod as I slip my hands under her and hoist her up in a bridal carry and head for my room, glad I put up those silencing wards for times like this.
