As I sat on the edge of my bed, my thoughts swirled like a raging storm. The images of what I thought I had almost done to Rayne replayed in my mind like a horror movie, and I couldn't help but feel sick to my stomach. I leaned over and retched into a nearby trash can, the acidic taste of bile lingering in my mouth.

I couldn't shake the feeling of dread that enveloped me, wondering what other monstrous actions I was capable of under the influence of that mysterious third party force. How had it taken control of me so easily, and what was its true intention? The questions spun in my head like a tornado, each one leaving me more disoriented than the last.

As I tried to make sense of it all, a creeping fear slithered through me. Were my friends keeping more secrets from me? Had they known all along about the malevolent entity lurking inside me? I felt a chill run down my spine, imagining the possibility of being betrayed by the ones closest to me.

I shook my head, trying to clear the unsettling thoughts. But as hard as I tried, I couldn't escape the feeling that there was more to this than I knew.

**Remi POV**

Sitting in the quiet classroom, my mind wandered with worry and curiosity. Where was Rayne? Had something terrible happened to her? Suddenly, Leo's voice broke through the silence, interrupting my thoughts. "Remi, something happened yesterday, I heard noises throughout the school last night and now there's a part of the school that's blocked off for repairs," he said, searching for an explanation.

I couldn't help but wonder if what he was saying was related to Rayne's absence. As if on cue, Enzo tapped my shoulder, adding his own thoughts to the mix. "So you guys heard the noises in the school last night as well, it was like there was a fight going on, that shit jolted me awake," he said.

As we spoke, the rest of the class started to listen in, curious about what we were discussing. But our speculation was abruptly halted by Ms. Smith, who interrupted to inform us of the reason behind Rayne's absence. Apparently, she had been attacked by a student in our very own classroom.

The news was shocking, and my mind raced to figure out who it could have been. The first name that came to mind was Zion. But Ms. Smith's words shattered that theory. She revealed that it was actually Sora who had attacked her.

My thoughts were jumbled and confused. Why would Sora do something like that? The class was in disbelief, with Leo trembling beside me, struggling to process the news. Ms. Smith attempted to calm us down, but her words fell on deaf ears. Everyone was worried and confused.

I turned to Leo, hoping to offer some support. "How about we go talk to Rayne at the school hospital, maybe we can get some answers there?" I suggested, hoping it would give us some clarity.

Leo agreed, still visibly shaken, and we left the classroom, our minds reeling with questions and concern.

We notified Ms. Smith that we were going to visit Rayne and she nodded in agreement. As we walked down to the hospital I couldn't help but notice that Leo seemed to have an intense look in his eyes.

I turned to Leo, concern etched on my face. "Leo... are you okay?" I asked, worry creasing my brow.

He glanced over at me, his expression so intense that it made me break out in a sweat. The look in his eyes spoke of his determination to uncover the truth. "We need answers, Remi," he replied, his voice low and determined. "I will make sure we get to the bottom of this."

We made our way into the hospital, and as we entered the room, we saw Rayne lying in bed, jotting something down in a notebook.

"What are you writing there, Rayne?" I asked, trying to break the tension.

She looked up, a small smile on her face. "Hey guys, this is just my journal. I write down everything that's happening throughout my day."

Leo cut in, his tone direct. "I think you know why we came here, Rayne."

The smile faded from her face, and her expression turned solemn. "So you heard about what happened with me and Sora..." she said, letting out an awkward laugh.

Without wasting any time, Leo pulled out a chair and sat down, his hands clasped together as he leaned forward. "You are going to tell us what happened," he said, his voice firm.

Rayne looked at me, a hint of unease in her eyes. "Leo, I can promise you that Sora did nothing wrong. Me and him are okay now, and if you want to learn something, go ask him, not me," she replied, trying to turn away from Leo's persistence.

But Leo was not to be dissuaded. "Don't give me that bullshit. Why would I ever go talk to a potential murderer?" he stated, his voice rising with each word.

I couldn't take it anymore. I grabbed Leo's shirt, forcing him to look at me. "That's enough, Leo," I said sternly, my grip tight.

But Leo wasn't having any of it. He slapped my hand away, a look of anger on his face. "Are you saying for me to go to someone that hurt my friend? Are you fucking delusional?" he asked, his voice laced with rage.

With a heavy sigh, I turned away from him. "I have nothing more to say to you. I will go visit Sora and get the answers out of him instead," I said before walking out of the room.
