A mummy is the culprit?
It's been two weeks since Ron Weasley offered Max to go on a mission against the mysterious organization called Deck of Fate. And since he is still here in the office of his detective agency, sipping coffee while watching TV, it's obvious that he declined the offer.
After thinking about it again and again, Max decided to leave such dangerous things to the high level detectives. He didn't want to end up like some hot blooded brainless protagonists of a novel or anime who recklessly dashes into dangerous situations he isn't capable of dealing with.
And this organization called Deck of Fate obviously looks like one. There are so many red flags on it that it's almost screaming danger. Just the fact that a group of gold and even platinum level detectives supported by vast resources, even they can't find out anything important about this organization, was enough for Max to back out.
