Chapter 11 - Surprise For Gwen

On a rooftop, a handsome man in a black suit was busy tidying up his appearance. there were so many candles lit that added to the romance of the night.

"Sis, don't forget to close Gwen's eyes, okay?"

"Yes. Wait a minute."

Mariana went to Gwen's room. There the girl was ready in her beautiful red dress, Mariana understood that there were many questions that Gwen wanted to ask her. However, he just smiled at his sister's beautiful face.

'He closed his eyes first, Derek.'

"But Sis. Why should I close my eyes, instead of going to a friend's birthday party, Brother?" asked Gwen who did not understand what her brother said.

"Hey, shut up. Just follow your brother's words, now come with me, remember! Don't let go of my hand!" Maria's orders

Gwen followed Mariana, she didn't know what her sister was planning, actually what her sister was planning.

The girl was again surprised by Morgan who brought a bouquet of flowers and a small box, the two of them still looked shy even though they had met often.

"Gwen," Morgan called quietly.

"Come with me," Morgan said, then Gwen nodded and followed Morgan's invitation.

And when in a place, Morgan was kneeling in front of Gwen making the girl confused.

"Morgan what are you doing, let's get up," said Gwen who was still confused. But instead of obeying, Morgan smiled and said something that Gwen had never imagined in her life.

"Do I look like I'm trying to play with you? I'm very serious now. You know I've been working up the courage to say this to you for a long time, how about Gwen? What's your answer? If you refuse just slap me and throw this ring away," said Morgan.

"If I accept it?" asked Gwen with her eyes fixed on Morgan's handsome face.

"So?" Morgan even asked back. Gwen was speechless. However, then both of his feet tiptoed to be able to reach the young man's cheek.

Morgan touched his cheek that had just been kissed by Gwen, the young man was surprised when suddenly Gwen kissed his cheek.

"I accept your proposal, Morgan. I am ready to be your wife in this world and in our second life." replied Gwen confidently.

Morgan held the girl's ring finger, pinning a ring on the girl as a sign of his ownership. Then he gripped Gwen's delicate hand tightly again and maybe too tightly.

"My hand hurts, Morgan. You're holding it too tight," Gwen said.

"Oh sorry dear, maybe because I was too happy," said Morgan.

"Honey? Since when have we been dating, and you call me that name," said Gwen narrowing her eyes, she was only teasing Morgan. The man just scratched his neck which didn't itch.

"Gwen, can I touch your face?" asked Morgan.

"For?"

"I want to carve and paint your face in my mind and also carve your name in my heart, I don't want your beautiful face to disappear from my mind, Gwen." Morgan said with both of his palms currently holding Gwen's cheeks.

Morgan released her hand from Gwen's face, then moved to hug her future wife's body.

"I love you, Gwen Queensha."

"I love you too Morgan Sebastian."

A few months later,

"You know Gwen I'm very happy, my dream of marrying you will soon come true. Only a few days left Gwen," said Morgan with a happy expression on his face.

"Me too Morgan," Gwen said.

"Dear."

"Yes."

"Aren't you happy to be married to me Gwen? I see your face is sluggish, not as usual which is very enthusiastic and also cheerful?" asked Morgan.

"It's okay Morgan. I'm fine. I just have a little headache since yesterday."

"Why didn't you tell me from yesterday, I'm your lover right? But why don't you want to be honest with me. Never mind I'll take you to the hospital now, I don't want anything to happen to you,"

"Sorry," Gwen said with a pitiful face, making Morgan not have the heart to scold her.

"It's okay, now we're going to the hospital," said Morgan. Gwen just nodded trying to obey what her future husband said.

They immediately went to the hospital, when they arrived at the hospital. Gwen felt a headache that hurt her so much. He fell unconscious, his face turned deathly pale. Morgan was shocked and panicked, and he quickly called the doctor.

The doctor immediately took care of Gwen so that nothing worse happened to his prospective patient. Morgan was still anxiously waiting from outside the ICU. The man's heart was completely engulfed in anxiety and restlessness.

An hour later, the beautiful doctor who still looked young came out of the ICU, Morgan quickly approached the doctor who was treating Gwen.

"Doctor, how is my future wife doing? What really happened. Please tell me, Doc?" Morgan asked worriedly.

The doctor named Priscila was silent, then exhaled heavily. With a heavy heart and also forced, he told Gwen's current state.

"I hope you can be patient, this may be a test for both of you," answered Doctor Priscilla with pity.

"What do you mean Doctor? Tell me not to talk too long, Doc?" asked Morgan, looking confused by the doctor's words.

"Come to my room now, I will explain everything in my room," replied the doctor

Morgan also agreed, the young man followed the Doctor cheerfully. While Gwen was still lying weak with the IV tube still attached.
