Life As An “Unknown” Extra

Summer has ended, and both him and Wei Feng had failed to figure out the meaning of the crest showing up in his dreams.

The end of summer signaled the start of the plot. Jiu Li stood infront of the school, he clenched his fists and took a deep breath, attempting to steady his nerves. Fully aware of the consequences, he understands the importance of caution to avoid being projected into the very villain he is destined to be.

Jiu Li enters the academy's territory. As Jiu Li enters the academy's territory, he heard the long missed familiar hustle and bustle of students rushing to and from classes. The hallways are crowded with teenagers chatting and laughing, some of them looking at him with curiosity.

As he walks down the hallway, Jiu Li can feel a sense of unease creeping up on him.

He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was. As he continues walking, he notices a group of students huddled together, whispering and pointing in his direction.

Suddenly, Jiu Li hears a loud crash and turns around to see a two students fighting .

It was the one and only very protagonist he tried so hard to avoid—Zheng Hu. He had porcelain skin, silver hair, and vibrant pink eyes. Wait, didn't Zheng Hu dislike violence and avoided it like the plague and only made a exception after he sought revenge?

As Jiu Li watches the fight unfold, he realizes that the person fighting Zheng Hu is not a student from their school, but an outsider. The outsider has a sinister look in his eyes, and it's clear that he has no intention of backing down.

Zheng Hu is holding his own in the fight, but it's clear that he's struggling. After all, he hasn't been thrown into the mission yet.

He notices something strange about the outsider's appearance. He has a strange tattoo on his neck! This is great source of information about the plot and potential dangers! Now, originally uninterested Jiu Li was now motivated to help Zheng Hu.

Jiu pulled out a custom made dart that wielded sleeping poison on it's pointed edge and threw it to the outsider's shoulder. The dart pierced the outsider's clothers.

The outsider staggered back. He shot a glare at everybody.

"Who threw it—?"

He boomed. Out of the blue, Zheng Hu had taken advantage of the outsider's distraction and landed a blow. Though it was visible that Zheng Hu had delivered a blow that wasn't that fatal, the outsider had dropped to the ground.

Yes!! My dart had worked! Jiu Li eagerly thought. Zheng Hu stood there, in awe. He hadn't put much strength into his attack. Then, he stared at the dart and back that the passerbys. When his eyes had met Jiu Li, Jiu Li flinched.

"Was it you?"

Zheng Hu asked.

"…."

Only silence greeted Zheng Hu. The audience stared at Jiu Li, awaiting his response.

"No—it wasn't me"

Jiu Li answered. Jiu Li had completely forgot that he wasn't supposed to attract Zheng Hu's attention. Ahhh! I messed up! Jiu Li thought. Just then, someone said,

"He's lying, he threw it"

Jiu Li sweated profusely. He was caught lying.

Zheng Hu examined Jiu Li. Why did this man lie to me? I don't see any reason to lie. Jiu Li continued to sweat. Man, I'm doomed! Lord, save me!

Jiu Li, you better confess or your going to meet god in person early!!
