Wedding preparations of two enemies

As wedding was going to be held next day at sunset. A very little time was left to prepare for the wedding.

According to the traditions of the western kingdom, wedding must take place in or near the bride's home.

But situation was very different this time, as there was no one to prepare for the wedding or to celebrate this happy day or to welcome the bridegroom and his family or see off the bride with best wishes for her future in the eastern kingdom.

So wedding was going to take place in a beautiful valley near both the kingdoms.

King Aaron made sure to provide everything that Queen Amber needs for their wedding.

He called the finest tailor of his kingdom to design a perfect wedding gown for her.

In the middle of the valley, a wedding setup was built. A set of huge pillars were placed that were decorated with beautiful flowers.

A red carpet was laid between five rows of off white benches on both sides.

As time was nearing everyone were quick both on hands and feets. They were all giving their best.

Chefs were busy preparing for wedding feast. They were preparing all the royal dishes as they were unsure which one their future queen will like the best.

As all the preparations were going on king Aaron went to Brenton who was resting near the lake.

"Brenton..I need to have a word with you"said Aaron.

"Yes..go on I am listening"said Brenton.

"I was hoping if you could be our wedding priest?"asked Aaron.

"Your wedding priest?"asked Brenton.

"Yes..me and Amber are getting married because of you. You are the one who suggested this to end our enemity which almost started centuary ago...and I have one more request"said Aaron.

"Ok...I will be your wedding priest as you wish and what else you want from me Aaron"asked Brenton.

"Will you walk queen Amber down the aisle"aaked Aaron.

"Walk queen Amber..but"said Brenton.

"Yes..please you know very well both me and Amber don't have parents and now queen Amber has no one with her to call her own. Please do me a favour"said Aaron.

"Maybe you are right Aaron. Ok I will do this for you and Amber's sake. For the sake of your future. For the end of your enemity"said Brenton.

As Aaron was standing beside Brenton silently. Brenton began to look at Aaron in amaze.

"What..why are you looking at me like that?"asked Aaron.

""I am in amaze how well you are taking care of queen Amber"said Brenton.

"Oh..I..I have always seen my father taking care of my mother..loving her, protecting her, teasing her, praising her and I am trying to follow in my father's footsteps. Am I doing right?"said Aaron with tears in his eyes by remembering his parents.

"Yes you are doing great in taking care of your future wife. I can see one day your name will be remembered as one of the greatest kings ever ruled. Your parents and your brother must be proud of you. Aaron please take good care of queen Amber, now she is going to be future wife and family"said Brenton.

"Yes..Brenton I will take good care of queen Amber. I will give my best to be a good husband"said Aaron.
