You'll Regret This

Tyson watched the TV in complete and utter shock. Reporting on the TV was a female newscaster. "Today, we received an anonymous tip which was too good to be true but after confirming this tip to be true, we had no choice but to share with our viewers what it was we found out today. Apparently, Tyson Knight, the only child of the well known and prestige Knight family, the billionaire and CEO of Knight's Empire got married earlier today to a young lady called Skylar and not the girlfriend he's been dating for the past three years. His reasons for an unannounced marriage to this Skylar girl is yet to be known but we hope to interview him before the day ends. Thank you for watching and do have a great day."

Tyson inhaled deeply and glanced angrily at Skylar whose face was completely devoid of any emotions.

"So? Explain yourself Tyson, what's the meaning of all this?! They can't really be serious about you marrying.... Her". She said her with her nose turned up in disgust without even caring she was there.

"I can explain but you need to relax first, you've not fully recovered." Tyson said calmly.

"Relax?!" She yelled. "You married a complete stranger behind my back and you expect me to relax?! And you even came in here with her!"

"I married her for you!!! You were never going to make it without a transplant. After months of searching and not finding the perfect match, she came this morning. She was our last hope and the only way she was going to agree to giving you her kidney was if I married her. I couldn't lose you so I had to accept it. You have to understand Lila. You probably would have done the same in my shoes."

"You fücking hoe! Couldn't you ask for something else? Money? A house, an all expense paid trip to a vacation place of your choice? Anything but marrying someone who was already taken?!"

"That sounds boring." Skylar said with a fake pout. "I love a challenge."

"I'm going to fücking strangle you!"

"Oh now c'mon. That's no way to say thank you to your savior, now is it?"

"That's enough!" Tyson snapped. "Both of you!"

"She started it!" Skylar whined.

"Not another word from your mouth or better still, get out! I've had enough of you for one freaking day!"

"I'm not leaving!"

"Why you..... " Tyson balled his fists as he glared at her.

"I am your wife and I won't let you treat me in this manner!"

"You're not helping!" Tyson whisper yelled.

"I wasn't planning to!" She snapped.

"I want you to Divorce her, now!" Lila yelled, butting in.

"I can't. I'm really sorry."

"Why can't you?! You don't even know her!"

"You'd be surprised." Skylar murmured under her breath which Tyson heard loud and clear but it wasn't the right time to ask what she meant by that.

"I made a deal. We signed a contract and all. Divorcing her will mean going against the contract and she'll be liable to sue me."

"So?! Let her sue you! You have the best team of lawyers in the entire State, she won't stand a chance! And she knows!"

Skylar smirked and glanced at Tyson.

"And you?" Tyson asked.

"What do you mean?"

"She'll have every right to request for her Kidney. It'll be like starting from scratch and I can't afford to watch you suffer anymore. We never would have found a donor if she hadn't met us in the first place. Even with her stupid condition, thanks to her you're alive with a perfectly working kidney."

"It doesn't work that way! She just can't request for her kidney after freaking giving me."

Skylar scoffed and shook her head. "You really went for the dumb one, huh? I expected better Ty."

"Don't you ever call her dumb! Understood?!"

"I'll call her whatever I want to, Mr. Knight. After all, it's my mouth. If you don't want me to call her dumb then she shouldn't act like one." She turned her gaze on Lila. "And as for you, honey, that's not how a contract works. The kidney was given under a legally signed contract and I could always take it back if either of you doesn't stick to what it says. So, for both of your good, I suggest you stop asking him to get a Divorce because that will only happen when pigs fly or when I'm dead. So, unless you figure out a way for pigs to fly or you kill me, we're in this forever and ever. Your relationship with him is as good as over. No matter what you say or do, things aren't going to get better in anyway. So enjoy your Kidney and leave what's mine!"

Tyson's mouth dropped open as he stared at Skylar in shock. He didn't expect her to say such. "You have no right to say such a thing."

"I have every right Mr. Knight. You have no idea who I am Tyson, neither you nor your dumb ass for a girlfriend, so I'll advise you to tread carefully around me. You have no idea what I'm capable of. Don't. Push. It!" She murmured in a threatening manner, her hazel colored eyes had become red and the aura she gave off was really dangerous and deadly.

Unsurprisingly to Skylar, Tyson didn't even flinch, not a flicker of fear in his eyes. Lila on the other hand, was shaking like a leaf. She was really scared but Skylar didn't give a shit about her. She was completely focused on Tyson who was also focused on her.

"Who are you?" He asked in a whisper.

"If you stick to the contract, you'll find out. You'll have answers to every question you've ever had. You'll find out why you've been having consistent nosebleeds, lately."

Tyson frowned. "How do you know about my nosebleeds?"

Skylar smiled, a real smile that nearly took Tyson's breath away. "I know a lot of things about you that even you do not know about yourself. And deep down, you know I'm the only one who truly understands you. You can sense it, you can feel the connection no matter how hard you try to ignore or deny it."

Tyson took a deep breath as he stared deeply into Skylar's eyes. They were no longer blood red but back to their beautiful hazel color.

"Tyson!" Lila yelled, finally getting his attention. "I called you more than ten times. What were you saying to her?! Are you going to divorce her or are you going to just stand there and let her insult and threaten us both?"

"I can't divorce her Lila, stop making me repeat myself." He sighed in exhaustion. "I've barely gotten any sleep for the past week and I am extremely tired. She gave you her kidney, I gave her my last name. It's a win, win."

"It's not! I never asked for her kidney!"

"Yes but I did!" Tyson snapped, shocking both Lila and Skylar. "I wanted the kidney for you so you could freaking have a second chance at life. You were on the brink of death and I needed to make a quick decision! It would have been really impossible to get an emergency donor at such a short notice! What would you have expected me to do?! To reject the offer and watch you suffer and die?! I'm not that kind of person. I would never sacrifice the love of my life over some measly last name! It means nothing to me! All I wanted was for you to live and I got my wish! For once in your god damn life, be grateful for the things I do for you and stop finding faults in them. A thank you wouldn't be bad, you know?!

I haven't been to work in weeks, my sleep schedule is freaking messed up than usual and I have lost millions of dollars in a matter of days because I couldn't make it for a business proposal. Another company won the contract but you don't see me whining about it and blaming you. Instead of always adding to my already piled up problems, why not help in reducing the pile. For fuck sake!"

Angrily, he stepped out of the ward, slamming the door hard on his way out.

"This is all your fault!" Lila yelled at Skylar then broke down in tears.

"Yeah, of course." Skylar rolled her eyes.

"He never once raised his voice at me, until you came along!"

"Oh spare me the crocodile tears. He would have done so eventually. You're quite very annoying."

Lila angrily wiped away her tears. "Don't think you've won. I'll make your life a living hell every single chance I get. This so called marriage will be your biggest mistake ever. You're going to regret it at the end of the day. I'll make sure his family hate you, his friends, everyone around him will despise you. You'll be an eyesore to them all. And lastly, I'll make Tyson hate you so much he won't be able to stand the mere sight of you. Mark my words, you will regret everything!!!"

"Ouu, I'm so scared." Skylar chuckled and with a shake of her head, walked out of the ward, leaving Lila alone with her dark thoughts.

"Arghh!!" Lila yelled out loud and slammed her fists hard on the bed in anger and frustration. "You will regret this, I swear." Her blue eyes turned abyssal black as she smirked in the most evil way.
