Ep 2: The Knight and the girl

Alexander meets a girl, that was kid Helena, who was using a wood rod.

Helena: (Using the rod) Flame… Flame! Come on! Flame!

Alexander: (Coming to her) Hey, what are you doing?

Helena: Ah! A boy! Don't come closer, I'm a sorceress! If you come to me I'll turn you into a frog! I guess I can do that.

Alexander: Eh? As if you could, girly.

Helena: Oh yeah? You'll see what I'm talking about!

Alexander: (Mocking) Oh, I'm so scared.

Helena: You'll see! (Saying a spell) Eh?

Alexander: (Confused) What was that? I'm still a boy.

Helena: (Upset) Then I'll show something else!

Helena run and tried to hit him with the rod.

Alexander: Hey! (Quickly using the wooden sword to defend) Why are you attacking me in that way? Aren't you a witch?

Helena: I'm a sorceress! No a witch!

Alexander: Isn't the same?

Helena: (Upset) No! I'm pretty to be an ugly witch!

Alexander: Whatever! Just stop!

Then both stopped fighting.

Alexander: You're good using that rod as a weapon.

Helena: It's supposed I should use it as a magic staff.

Alexander: So you are a witch.

Helena: (Angry) I'M A SORCERESS! IDIOT!

Alexander: If you practice with magic then you must belong to a wizard family.

Helena: That's, right. Anyway, what's your name?

Alexander: I'm Alexander Drake.

Helena: Nice to meet you, my name is Helena Feuerborn.

Alexander: Helena, eh? I'll try to remember you. So I won't call you witch.

Helena: Geez! So Alexander, you are playing like a knight?

Alexander: I'm not playing. It's because I want to be a Knight. To fight along with my father. We'll be known as the bravest Knights!

Helena: My goal is to learn magic to take the rule of my family. My family is a group of sorcerers and teach their children to inherit their magic spells to use them in good ways. I was practicing a little.

Alexander: I'm sure you'll make it.

Helena: Then let's make a promise.

She took his little finger and united with hers.

Helena: This will be our promise. We'll be the greatest Sorceress and Knight of the Kingdom, okay?

Alexander: Yeah, let's do it!

Helena: Great!

Alexander: We will be greatest Sorceress and Knight in the world!

At his home, Alexander was having dinner with his parents.

Alexander: This dinner is delicious, mother.

Lorelei: Really? I made sure to prepare for you two.

Percival: After a battle, I need to regain my strength.

Lorelei: It was difficult?

Percival: No, but there were many wolves trying to eat our herds. By the way, Alexander, I heard you found a girlfriend.

Alexander blushed to hear that.

Alexander: (In his state) No! It was a girl who I meet in the field.

Lorelei: Oh my! My little Alexander is going to be a man.

Alexander: Mother!

Percival: So what's her name?

Alexander: Eh, her name is Helena but her last name is difficult… like Feuer… born like that.

Percival: (Surprised) Wait? Did you say Feuerborn? One of the greatest wizard clan?

Alexander: Do you know them?

Percival: Yeah, the mister Feuerborn helped us to cure some of our soldiers. I heard he has a daughter. She's the same age like you.

Alexander: Yeah, and she said she was practicing magic.

Percival: You two seem getting along with. Why not you play more often? I'll take you with them.

Alexander: Well.

Percival: You didn't like playing with princess Hestia but unless you can play with your new friend.

Alexander: I didn't have a friend until now.

Lorelei: Good for you.

Percival: I have friendship with that wizard clan.

Alexander: But I must focus in my goal to be a knight like you father.

Lorelei: It's not a problem if you play with Helena, but that would be a difficult if you fall in love with her.

Alexander: (Blushed) No!

Some days later, Alexander and Helena were playing together in the field. Their fathers were watching them.

Percival: It looks like my son is having fun with your daughter. Don't you think?

Mr. Feuerborn: Yeah, I never have seen Helena having fun before. She used to be alone to learn magic spells. And sometimes she goes out to practice by herself.

Percival: Well, Alexander made her think different.

Mr. Feuerborn: Sure, he could be someone important to her.

Percival: We should put them together more often.

Alexander's voice: And that happened; Helena and I continued coming to the field, playing to achieve our goals.

Alexander was training with a wood sword, as Helena was using a stick as wand.

Helena: Come on! Come on! Fire!

Alexander: (Noticing her) What are you trying to do?

Helena: I want to summon fire, but it's very difficult.

Alexander: Using a wand? That what a witch does.

Helena: (Upset) Don't call me witch! Ah! Fine! (Throwing away the stick) I'll try using my mana!

Alexander: Mana? Your spiritual energy?

Helena: (Using her both hands) I must focus in create fire from nothing.

Alexander: Can you do it?

Helena: I must do it.

Helena was focusing but nothing happen.

Alexander: Don't push yourself. You're just beginning using magic.

Helena: Shut up! I can make it!

Helena continued focusing more, until a tiny fireball appeared.

Helena: (Happy) Eh? I did it!

But the fireball fell and was burning a part of her skirt. She was funny desperate.

Helena: It burns!

Alexander: Watch out!

Alexander was trying to extinguish the fire by grabbing her skirt. He did it but he pulled much her skirt like tearing it.

Alexander: I turned off.

Helena: (Blushed) Ah! What are you doing, pervert!

Alexander: Be quiet!

Then she moved away from him, the fire was turned off.

Alexander: Are you okey? (Blushed) Eh?

Helena: (Confused) What? (Realizing her shirt was little opened, exposing her chest) Ah! (Covering with her arms) Where are you looking?

Alexander: No! I wasn't looking! (Little blushed) But you weren't flat?

Helena: (Upset) What did you say?

Alexander: Nothing.

Later; Alexander and Helena were fighting with wood sword and long rod.

Alexander: What are you fighting with that?

Helena: Well, it's said the sorcerers can't depends only with magic. We should learn fighting style too.

Alexander: I didn't expect that.

Helena: If you are a knight, then teach me that style.

They keeped fighting until she slipped and fell onto him. They rolled down until landing a grass field.

Alexander: Are you okey, Helena?

Helena: (Focusing on his face) I'm okey now.

Alexander: Well, if you say that.

They realized they keeped embraced, they separated immediately.

Alexander: (Blushed) Sorry!

Helena: (Blushed) No, it's my fault this time!

Then they looked each other, then they laughed.

Their parents looked what they were doing.

Percival: Alexander is having fun.

Mr Feuerborn: Yeah, Helena is smiling more than ever.

Percival: Her presence makes him more motivated to be a knight. I hope they keep getting along.

Mr Feuerborn: I don't think that's gonna happen.

Percival: What do you mean?

Mr Feuerborn: My clan was called to a far awar country. We must train our magic arts. The kingdom needs more magic support, so my family is going to move away.

Percival: I see, but I understand.

Mr Feuerborn: I'll tell Helena to give Alexander those news.

At next day; Alexander and Helena were sat on the field.

Alexander: This is peaceful; I wish my father kept the peace here.

Helena: (Smiling) Yeah, our magic arts should be used to improve our land and no for war.

A light wind passed to them. Alexander noticed Helena's hair was moving by the wind showing her beauty. Alexander was focused in her. She noticed his behavior.

Helena: Alexander?

Alexander: (Little blushed and ignoring) It's nothing

Then, she came closer to him, making him little nervous.

Alexander: (In his state) Helena, you are too close!

Helena: Hey, Alexander, I have to tell you something.

Alexander: What?

At other side in the castle, a kid Hestia was at a balcony looking the environment. She seems little upset.

King Carl: (Coming to her) What's wrong, Hestia?

Hestia: Father, why Alexander isn't coming to play?

King Carl: You see, Alexander is playing with a friend he just met.

Hestia: Other friend?

King Carl: Yeah, it's the girl from Feuerborn family.

Hestia: (Surprised) A girl?

King Carl: Yes, she seems friendly with Alexander and enjoy playing together. Percival has a friendship with that wizard clan.

Hestia: So he replaced me with other girl?

King Carl: Don't worry Hestia, maybe you can marry with a brave knight in the future.

Hestia: If it's Alexander…

King Carl: I'm worried about the other menace. It will be true the mythical creature will rise to attack us?

At other side, Alexander and Hestia keep talking.

Helena: Alexander… I… I won't see you. My family is going to take me to another country to domain my magic skills. So we have to say good bye.

Alexander: Eh?

Helena: It's my duty. Another magic clan will teach us, so I must go.

Alexander: Helena.

Helena: I'll miss you.

Alexander: It can't be helped, if it's your family duty.

Helena: It will be sad when we can't see each other.

Alexander: Don't worry, I'm sure one day we'll meet again. No matter how much time passes.

Helena: That's right! I won't forget you.

Alexander: Me neither.

Helena was little embarrassed as looking at Alexander.

Alexander: Something wrong, Helena?

Helena: Before I leave, I want you to do something for me.

Alexander: What is it?

Helena: (Blushed) Close your eyes.

Alexander: For what?

Helena: (Blushed) Just do it!

He closed his eyes, and then he felt something on his lips. When he opened his eyes, he was blushed to see her face on him. She kissed him directly on the lips; they were like this in a while.

Alexander: (Blushed) Helena! What…?

Helena: (Blushed) Don't say anything about this!

Alexander: But why?

Helena: (Little blushed) Maybe you'll be the only boy I ever meet. So consider this as a good-bye gift.

She stands up and ready to leave.

Alexander: Helena…

Helena: (Little sad) Promise we meet again.

Alexander: Yeah.

Alexander's voice: Helena's family is going to move to another country to develop their magic skills, tomorrow.

At next day, Alexander was training in a field, using a wood sword against a wooden puppet.

Alexander: I must focus! One day I'll meet Helena and that day I have to be a knight.

At the town; Lorelei was buying in a market.

Lorelei: (As picking some vegetables) Hmm… This should cheer up Alexander.

Then she saw a young woman buying too. It was Mrs Feuerborn.

Mrs Feuerborn: This should be enough for the trip.

Lorelei: Excuse me, you are… from Feuerborn family?

Mrs Feuerborn: Yes, how do you know?

Lorelei: Are you Helena's mother? You look like her.

Mrs Feuerborn: You know my daughter? Then you must be Alexander's acquaintance.

Lorelei: I'm his mother Lorelei.

Mrs Feuerborn: Oh yeah. My daughter told me about a boy who has a friendship. I heard his father is one of the knights of King Carl.

Lorelei: Yes, my husband works a lot for kingdom's safety.

Mrs Feuerborn: That's so bravery.

Lorelei: Alexander said your family will leave the Kingdom.

Mrs Feuerborn: Yes, for the name of our family clan, we must improve of magic arts to help Artemis Kingdom.

Lorelei: Alexander seems sad when he realizes his friend leaves.

Mrs Feuerborn: Helena was in same condition, but this is our duty.

Lorelei: That's why I'm going to make his favorite dish to cheer him up.

Mrs Feuerborn: He must understand there are things that must be done for the good. Tomorrow we'll part to a far country.

Lorelei: Okey, you have a good trip.

Mrs Feuerborn: Thanks you.

At other day, Alexander keeps training.

Alexander: I'm sure Helena and I will meet again! That's why I have to keep training and become stronger!

At a road; it's seen a carriage heading to a far away place. Helena and her family were leaving the country.

Helena: (Sighs) I'm going to past my years training.

Mr Feuerborn: Helena, do you miss your friend Alexander?

Helena: I guess.

Mr Feuerborn: I know this is going to be a hard lesson but remember our duty. For the good of the Artemis Kingdom.

Helena: Yeah I know. Alexander and I promised we'll meet again.

Some days later; Alexander was training in the woods alone.

Alexander: This forest looks a good place to train.

Alexander was using the wood sword to train. After a while, he felt exhausted.

Alexander: So tired. My parents would be upset if I get late.

He was ready to leave but he noticed a wild wolf was looking at him. He was little scared, the wolf was ready to attack.

Alexander: (Little scared) I'm not afraid! I'm a knight like my father! If he managed to kill big monsters, I can handle with you!

The wolf howled and run to attack. Alexander moved fast to dodge its attack. The wolf turned back and attacked with its jaws but he used the wood sword to defend himself. The wolf was crunching his wood sword, then he kicked the wolf.

Alexander: Take that!

The wolf was angry and attacked him again. Alexander realized there was an incline. The wolf stroke but he managed to push it to the incline.

Alexander: (Relieved) I make it.

At night; Alexander and his parents were having dinner.

Lorelei: (Little upset) Alexander, where have you been too late?

Alexander: Sorry, I was training in the woods.

Lorelei: Why did you do that? You're still a child. It's too dangerous to go alone. There are savage beasts!

Alexander: It's true. I beat a wolf.

Lorelei: (Upset) Alexander! You are prohibed to go alone!

Alexander: But mother…

Percival: You're mother is right, Alexander. Being a knight is not just fame. It requires a hard preparation but remember you need training from masters so don't go to do risky training without me, okey?

Alexander: Yes, father.

At next day; Alexander was walking in the town.

Alexander: I don't care what my parents said, I'll become a strong knight, to beat any monster!

Then he saw a woman who was buying in the market.

Woman: Oh, Alexander.

Alexander: You know me?

Woman: You must be Percival's son, right?

Alexander: You know my father?

Woman: Of course, I'm your parents' neighbor. I'm Clara.

Alexander: Nice to meet you.

Clara: Sometimes your parents and I talk in free time.

Alexander: Really? (Smiling) I would to talk with you sometimes.

Clara: Okey.

At home, Percival was leaving.

Percival: I hope Alexander don't do crazy things after what we told me.

Lorelei: He seems he got your guts.

Percival: Hehe! That's my kid.

Lorelei: So are you going to patrol another areas?

Percival: Yes, maybe I'll get late.

Lorelei: Okey, be careful.

Percival leaves as Lorelei was doing the housechores.

Lorelei: This should be a nice day.

Lorelei and some habitants were doing chores like farming and cattle rising.

Lorelei: (Smiling) Percival, Alexander. I'll pray for you being brave knights.

At a far place, something was rising from the bottom of the ground. It looks like a huge monster like dragon shape.

Some watchmen were checking the landscape and realized something far from them.

Watchman 1: What's happening?

Watchman 2: Something is coming, it's huge.

The scene is seen it's Alexander's place where Lorelei and some habitants were working there.

Alexander's voice: Everything was happiness, but then huge mythical creature had awaken.
