Discovery

"S-susan!"

"Tammy! You were… and you… but that…" She could barely finish anything.

"I can explain," Tammy began.

Susan's lets gave out and she sat on the road, confused and scared. Her best friend ran to her side. She looked up at the young woman. "T-tammy?"

"It's me, Susan." She might be sixty years younger but she still had her features. Susan would recognize her especially the way she talked.

"H-how?"

"A little magic from these three." Tammy looked to Caellum. "Can you fly us to her house? It's only down the road." Caellum nodded and carried them. He flew as gently as he could so Susan wouldn't get frightened. Once in Susan's home, Tammy helped her friend to bed.

"Oh Susan, what did you see?"

Her plump friend shook her head. "I saw your Tucker gunning up the road with that motorcycle of his. There was a lady with him but she seemed to be jogging right along side him instead of riding. I thought it was rude."

Tammy sighed. "He was a pretty rude boy. The boys sent him away."

"When I can round to give him a piece of my mind, I saw that girl turn red. Then monsters came out and that fight - and Tucker! I could see from that hole in your wall that Tucker was going to… Oh Tammy, I never thought that boy would be that bad. He was going to stab you! Was he jealous because you're so young and beautiful?" Susan held her friend's hand.

Tammy smiled. "Thank you, Susan. Without the boys, I wouldn't be able to bear what Tucker did. I was so blind because I loved him. Tucker became the worse, worse than Edison was ever but I allowed it because I thought it made him happy."

Susan tsked. "Boys like that will never be happy."

"Will you be alright?"

Her friend sighed. "Just get me some of those hunks that can turn you young again, I'd be fine!"

Tammy squeezed her hand. "Rest. I'll check on you tomorrow. Maybe I can bring the boys to visit once the house is fixed."

Caellum flew her back to the house. Adreen and Baledin were already fixing the holes in her house. She could hear Baledin tell Adreen that they should make the house into a palace. Adreen argued that it should be a fortress.

Caellum sighed at the two's shenanigans. "You two better hurry. We need some private time with the mistress. This is our honeymoon night."

"Of course, of course!" The two hurried up and boarded up the hole. They'd start building her palace cum fortress tomorrow. For now, they were going to have fun.
