The Training and Start of Hunt for Uppermoon 2

Toji was currently paired with Gyomei and was one a mission at City where he found about lower moons being removed by Muzan. There are rumors of a strong demon near the area and people disappearing at large scale . The main target of demon were women and pregnant women.

This was first demon activity after a month and there could have been a chance of it being another Uppermoon . So both Gyomei and Toji were sent together on this mission . Usually Gyomei don't need anyone's help in Missions , but master didn't wanted it to be a trap like on Mugen Train .

They were going through city and they both were little center of attention since it's hard to not notice someone like Gyomei who have a big scar on his head . Toji himself looked like a punk and Giyu face expressionless made it more scary . though other reason was Toji being associated with Yakuza in city .

They were currently going to a place where Toji said they might get some info about Demon whereabouts . Gyomei didn't knew what place was Toji taking about since if they could get information like that then Master would have told him about it . So ,that means that place gives info only to Toji .

They were to a casino area that was controlled by Local Yakuza . Toji had made good relationship with them since he could easily get information from them and after he saved the daughter of Yakuza boss in another city , he was able to get information from other too since they didn't want such creatures near them and were ready to support Demon slayer corps for it .

Toji already knows how to deal with such people because of his past life experiences .

They both went and the people inside looked little scared of Gyomei size and aura . He gave aura that showed people that he was extremely strong person . Toji knew that Gyomei was really kind at his heart dispiet his looks and its said that every stone hashira was kind at his heart .

Toji asked them about information about the disappearance at City . They gave his info that it started happening since some religious group came to the city . There head never came to out in sunlight and to them he looked quite different from what normal people see instead . They had a feeling that person was dangerous . This eyes were rainbow colored and he was always smiling but there never seemed like an emotion behind it just pity .

Gyomei also heard about and understood that it was a demon . The demon that once killed flower hashira , the Uppermoon 2 . The woman started disappearing after they once visited the cult head . The pregnant women were also went to take blessings for there unborn children but soon disappeared .

This made sure that he was the demon that they were after . The uppermoon 2 , was now going to be hunted by the hashira that thought kanae as daughter. Toji himself was not fan of revenge but the way kocho was taking poison in her body it also made him a little worried about her too .

They took info and thanked them , they both came out side and started to go towards an inn . They went in and took two rooms. Gyomei asked Toji about the Yakuza and information and Toji said to him that he once saved the Yakuza boss daughter from Demon so they provide him any information that may look like the work of demon . He also said that he have many other connections for getting such information too.

They decided to take look at information and it said that the cult was staying little outside of city , near forest area . Toji said " I think you already know that this most likely a uppermoon that killed kocho's sister . I think you should take a look at the little information I have about his abilities from investigating area where he fought flower hashira . "

Gyomei was blind so Toji read about the abilities of uppermoon 2 that were mostly like what Toji thinks were . He said to him that " he most like have blood Demon art that manipulate the ice . There were frost near the battlefield and he also used the ice to froze the lunges of Demon slayers since this is easily way to weaken them.

Ice might be quite strong because of it being his blood Demon art and there might case of him using ice puppets to distract us in fight . He will try to keep halting us in battle so he be at advantage in battle . We have to end the battle fast and if can regrow his head too then we have too fight when the dawn will be near , so we are only going wait till there is a hour left in sunrise and then attack him .

We will lay fire traps that could keep the heat high so his blood demon art will weaken , we can also keep westria smoke bombs to distract him mid battle . We can also use poisoned kunai to halt his regeneration . "

Toji but all the supplies for battle that he had to fight against a strong enemy , Toji liked to keep his arsenal big against strong opponents in fight . His options here were not high because he only had breathing style and westria poison . Gyomei had his own doubt but he was amazed by how much info Toji was able to get from just aftermath of battlefield and had a counter for Demon abilities.

He said " Tomioka , I am impressed by your preparation for such fight , it seems that you were expecting someday to fight against uppermoons , I hope that we can safely put end to this demons activities . I will pray for our success . " There were tears in his eyes and had prayer beads in hands .

Toji said " I had a feeling that in future there would be something big that going to change the course of our history . Nezuko's appreance was a missing cog that started a machine that we take us to a certain point were either Demon slayer corps will disband after successful win against Muzan or we will be distroyed by him .

I believe Nezuko can conqueror the sun and Kibutusji will come after her , I am just preparing to weaken his forces as much I can before final battle ." Gyomei responded " Tomioka you really think of possibilities of future that others ignore . I believe that was the reason that you spared the Demon girl and put your life on line ."

Toji responded " if that girl can show such control against sanemi's blood just for her brother than I can put this life on line for her too and for me she is just infected till she attacks a human and calling her Demon will be insult of her , resolve ." Gyomei just stayed quite then he said " do you think she do what no Demon had done before ?"

I believe but Master would not have let her stay if he didn't believe that just on my request but Muzan Leaving her alive even after having incounter with Tanjiro shows that there is something different about her that Muzan couldn't control her .she is a hope for me to make some amends and for Demon slayer corps for having something that Muzan himself might not win against . Her sole existence is something that mystery for me , I believe that Master agreeing with me makes the chances very high . "

Gyomei just thought what Toji had said because if there was such war coming then they had to prepare for it , she could be a hope that could help ending dmeons existence . Her existence truly was unique in this world just like first breath user's was . They could not let this chance to be slip through there hands .

Gyomei was now fully ready for future events and the war that was coming . They went to there rooms and took some rest before there food came to them . Toji was not much worried since now he had an idea of Uppermoons strength .

They were not much stronger than grade 2 but Toji was worried about there skills that they had refined through hundred of years since a weak person with great skills can be more dangerous than strong enemy with no skills . That's the reason sorcerers were kept higher even being same grade in curse . A grade one sorcerers could easily win against grade one curse spirit .

Butterfly Mansion :-

Tanjiro was little depressed because of not being much useful in last Mission and was only one who was injured heavily. His wound was deep and shinobu said him to stay at bed for few more days. Zenitsu and Inosuke were given leave because there were not much injured . Inosuke said that it might be because they were more injured by Tomioka san then Demon .

They were also became more stronger because of that training so ,he asked Rengoku to Train him . Rengoku agreed but he was not given permission by Shinobu and there was something different about her after Inosuke praised Giyu's training methods . She looked angry and Rengoku San told him that she was against Tomioka's training method . After hearing Inosuke praising his training method made her angry since she had to take care of there injuries.

Tomioka also said that he can also find new doctor after Kocho threatened to ban his entry from butterfly Mansion . Tanjiro was little worried about tomioka now . Since he will not be getting healed by Shinobu san if he got injured .

Currently Tanjiro was sitting at his patient bed in butterfly Mansion thinking about when he will get permission to go back to training and for his luck Zenitsu came with food in a plate .

He came and put the plate near his bed and said " tanjiro here's your food . " Tanjiro thanked him . Zenitsu said " you know ,I heard shinobu san taking about giving you leave , since your wound is almost healed up after rest and medicine ." Tanjiro was happy to hear this since he could train again and will be try his best that next time he will not be that much useless .

They both were happy and eat the food while talking with each other. Zenitsu got scolding from Aoi since he was only supposed to give him food and not eat half of it but tanjiro said that he gave him his half .

But Aoi knew that Tanjiro was just trying to defend Zenitsu . Manju were only for Tanjiro and Zenitsu was still scolded anyway even though tanjiro defended him .

Few hours later Rengoku came with his bright smile and said " I believe your health is in good condition Tanjiro. " Tanjiro greeted him and also asked for his health . kyojuro said " Don't worry about me , my injuries were Minor thanks to Tomioka defending me in battle. Though I am here to tell you about that Kocho have gave me permission to take you with as my tsuguko to Train you , so we will be leaving together ." Tanjiro said " thanks Rengoku san I will try my best to get stronger under your wing ."

Rengoku said " Don't worry , I know you have potential , so will train you and other two and Tomioka have gave me the responsibility to make you stronger through harsh training , though mine will not be as harsh as his but it will not be easy either , so are you ready to give your all Tanjiro ." Tanjiro just nodded his head heavily since he was really happy for Rengoku accepting.

Though he had taken them under his wing in train but he was little worried since there tanjiro was not able to do much other than kill demon with Inosuke help but he was still injured pretty heavily during the fight from conductor . It was pretty much in his head since Tanjiro never gave himself much credit for things and only gave it to people with him. This was because of him being Elder brother and caring nature towards others.

Rengoku took tanjiro with him to his house . Rengoku family was serving Ubuyashiki family as hashira's from generations and because of that their original house was there estate and that territory was also protected by Flame Hashira from Rengoku house .

Even the imperial capital came under there territory but Master gave him some brake to rest and since he took tanjiro as his tsuguko. He also had to train him so , he took this offer .

City inn :-

Meanwhile Toji was not the person who ever took leave and Master knew he will do the same this time so he sent him with Gyomei so their missions don't take much time . Toji also knew this but took opportunity to know the strength of stone hashira in action . Gyomei was so strong that he sometimes didn't need use breathing forms to behead the Demons .

Though Toji was much stronger but this was still amazing feat from Toji prospective for a human . This showed that why he was called strongest hashira in current generation .there missions never lasted more than few minutes . Toji himself finished his Missions quickly if he didn't wanted to see the blood Demon art that could also come from strong Demons but in the end it was cake walk for Toji to kill a Demon .

Toji skill were in level of his own and he was currently improving Water breathing too. This made his skill set even more deadly and impressive to others .if it were a uppermoon to fight him alone Toji could demolish him in seconds but that could show Muzan that there was someone else like Yoruichi tsugikuni . Because he will again go in hiding and will only come out when Toji died here .

So , Toji plan were to get injured in battles against Uppermoons but not much and keep the injuries low only showing that they were simply defensive and attack during sunrise against Uppermoon 3. He wanted to use same strategy against Uppermoon 2 too but take some more damage on himself and Gyomei being less injured too show that he still was Strongest among hashira .

Toji knew that Kibutusji had access to memories of every Demon that Demon slayer killed . Akaza might not have been different so ,there might stronger demon on hunt against him and kyojuro . This appreance of uppermoon 2 could be the case too .

They both were currently going towards cult building . The leader is most likely the uppermoon 2 , even if was not there would not be problem for Toji because just knowing the name of cult will give him enough information to start hunting the Uppermoon 2 and this was the case they were late and only thing left was few Demons at cult building ,who must be trying to Hunt human, who don't know that cult left the place .

Just like hashira , Uppermoons have territory too so there was one empty territory now , which might Akaza's , where normal Demon started appearing more after his death . Toji didn't care about it much since he had found the territory of uppermoon 2 . It was his cult buildings and town near it . All Toji had to do is find heavenly paradise cult buildings .

Toji started to find clue inside the building about there next whereabouts and Gyomei finished the Demons quickly and was praying for victims souls . Toji found only what this whole cult was about instead of any other important information . This cult was made to worship Muzan as it God and the uppermoon 2 as his Messenger .

Toji came outside where Gyomei was praying for victims souls . Gyomei asked him " Tomioka ,Did you find anything about there next location ?" Toji only gave him the document of cult to him and said " there is nothing about there next location but I found out what this whole cult is about . The Uppermoon 2 call himself the messenger of God and Meanwhile Muzan is the god of this cult .

They talk about giving people place in heaven and eternal peace from there problems , which is most likely death . The woman are always more religious than man so that might be the reason why they at this Demons main target . In short this Demon thinks himself as messiah . He will surely will try to preach in his fights about how he is doing these things for people good .

That could pretty much anger any hashira especially Sanemi . " Gyomei said that its shame that there are people who are killed at hands of this Demon who call Muzan a god . Toji said that least now they have name of this cult and only need to hunt for the locations where they are . Gyomei told him to keep this information secret from Shinobu since she would most likely would try to go after Uppermoon 2 by herself .

They both new what they have to do next , it was time to hunt the false Messiah. They had a pretty great lead on the uppermoon 2 now , Toji and Gyomei decided that this time to go back . They needed to infrom Master that they got lead on a Uppermoon 2 location and wanted to start a hunt for him . They were going to do every preparation that was needed for there fight if they incounter him in future .

Toji was ready for his next battle against Uppermoon and needed to find a way to adjust his fighting style in the way that will heavily benefit Gyomei in battle . Toji said to Gyomei " Himejima san , think we should train to together to make sure that our fight style will help each other heavily in fight since it was really hard to do with kyojuro against Uppermoon 3 .

I was able to do it because I had experience from missions in which I mostly backed Kocho since they understimated her stabs but it was still hard for kyojuro in battle .it would be better if we were able to adjust each other fighting style before fight ."

Gyomei agreed to his Idea since this was going increase the chances of there victory and Toji was the only person who did hellish training like him in all other hashiras . This was cleared because of his statement at last hashira meeting .

Toji never slacked of for training in this world and was really harsh on himself since his heavenly restricted body could take it . He was trying to bring out every bit of strength from his body. so, he could improve himself and the idea of improvement came to his mind after he tried to improve his breathing styles forms . He was trying to use breathing techniques to improve his physical abilities even more .

The current Toji was twice strong from his battle against Gojo satoru . He was unstoppable force of nature currently who only was holding himself back , because of Muzan's cowardly nature .

They both decided to meet at Gyomei's estate to train together . They were now preparing for what was going to become that biggest nightmare of Uppermoon 2 and his worst day in life.

They reported this to Master and took his permission for this long mission . Gyomei said that thry could also do Normal Missions in between the area near where they were searching but Master gave them full freedom to act on hwo they want on this mission since this was first time a hashiras were hunting a Uppermoon of higher level with solid information .

Tengen also was searching for Uppermoon too . So, Master also had given him Full freedom in that Mission. Tengen was going to be partnered with Kyojuro after he got solid information about hiding place of Uppermoon since hewas the hashira who was able to defeat Uppermoon 3 with Giyu .

Master also told Tengen to train with Kyojuro and adjust to each other fighting style for fight because this resulted as extremely beneficial for them against Akaza , so he was training with Kyojuro .this was also told to other hashiras too sinec it was better to help them adjust to each others fighting styles .only reason Toji and Rengoku were able to do because Toji had experience from his missions with shinobu , so it would be better if they ever encountered another Uppermoon.

Tengen was also impressed by the growth of tanjiro and other during there training . Toji also came to visit few to keep check on tanjiro and other two training but the day he would come , would be the day both hashira and there tsuguko get trained to death because of him not giving them time for rest saying uppermoon is not going give them break during fight.

Tengen came to know one thing about Toji and it was that he didn't joke when he said he trained to death . Tengen had fights with him that would left him with heavily injuries for Toji would not stop . He also said to kyojuro about [Transparent World ] since this was really helpful in training and what him to Master .

Toji was going to increase fight to such level that it would be difficult to say that beating Uppermoon was more difficult then beating Toji. He also said to them for trying to improve the already existing forms even more . Rengoku was interested in it since he saw Toji using improved forms of already existing one .

Toji said that he just tries to use other breathing style form in his own. This would use them in this form since water breathing is all about taking any shape that he wanted and a person can is easily switch his breathing style from Water to other breathing style. So it gives him room for using other breathing style form to improve his own. Like it reflects on surface of water as copy .

Toji had already made seventh form improved from kocho insect breathing. He used thunder breathing to improve his Ninth form and others too . The eleventh from was using some of mist breathing obscure movement to confuse the enemy .

The fast movement of user and delayed sword attackes usually confuse the opponent in battle and give a small opening to strike.

Toji came to know that there was some fight between tanjiro and Kyojuro father on their first meeting but it seemed that he was in good shape even after getting slammed former flame hashira and who was said to strongest Flame Hashira of century . Tanjiro even headbutted him and he was injured because of it . Kyojuro stopped them before it become something serious.

It seemed that kyojuro Father was somewhat good mind after that fight. He seemed to be regretting his actions of past . The look his face was once that Toji had during on his face after the meeting with Naobito . He was surely regretting his actions and it was good for both him and his family that he was able to do it before it was too late .
