"Hm... 4th..."
Kiyomi wracked her mind for the names of the people that had been killed before the anime had started.
"Should've been only three that I could've saved I guess..."
Families like the Hashibira family and the Shinazugawa family who were killed when she was still weak could only be silently mourned by Kiyomi.
Other families were just not savable at all, like Mitsuri's family.
After all, her problem was that she was discriminated against, not that her family was killed by demons.
"Hopefully, when Tanjiro and Nezuko get caught to be interrogated during their mission at Rui's mountain, I'll go and show myself and also be accepted."
Smiling at the thought, Kiyomi took a short break at a river to get some fish for a quick snack.
"I wonder what Giyu's expression would be when he realizes I'm not dead?"
Amused at the thought, Kiyomi continued to think of various scenarios to curb her boredom of not being able to tease Tanjiro.
Thinking about whether she should go and visit Rui for fun, Kiyomi first organized her thoughts and spread out her schedule.
Her identity as a demon was definitely a little special, as she was accepted as one of the upper moon demons, but not officially marked.
The lower moons had to be respectful when they saw her, as they know because of the lower moon meetings.
But even normal demons who don't know the news would be fearful when they met Kiyomi in her hybrid form due to the overwhelmingly strong presence she emitted.
If they had met Kiyomi in her human form, they would just think that she was a weak demon due to the earing that she had made after she saved Kanae from Doma.
The only reason why she made the earrings to hide her demon breath from humans was entirely because of Kanae.
Thinking back, Kiyomi remembered the enthusiastic girl who stuck to her like a leech and pestered her for an entire day before she somehow pried her off of her back and ran away.
"... I wonder if we can be counted as friends???"
Feeling a little lonely, Kiyomi decided to go and visit Kanae first.
But first, she needed to find the exact location of the demon slayer headquarters. And what better way is there than tricking Giyu's Kasugai crow into telling her?
Standing on Kiyomi's right shoulder, a crow with pitch-black feathers spewed out words.
"Caw!! Go ~~~~ to find the headquarters! "
Plugging in her right ear with one finger, Kiyomi answered calmly:
"Alright, thanks!"
Throwing a biscuit she kept in her pocket to the crow, Kiyomi ran in the direction of the demon slayer headquarters.
The crow on the other hand flew towards Kumotori mountain, supposedly to find Giyu.
"What a weird crow."
Kiyomi muttered as she continued to run in one direction.
'Does it not recognize its owner by face and voice?? It only saw the Nichirin sword in my hand and told me to go to the headquarters for a meeting.'
Taking a deep breath to try and calm her burning lungs that were about to burst from holding in her laughter, Kiyomi can't help but laugh out wildly at the silly crow.
"I mean like what kind of secret organization crow would just tell their enemy the location of their headquarters?!?? I'm still technically a demon, ya know??! Though I did break free from Muzan's restrictions and stuff, in essence, I'm still a demon."
Whoever trained the Kasugai crows would cry in anger if they knew what Kiyomi had just done.
After all, they trained the crows to recognize the owners by their scent and not by the Nichirin sword and appearance.
After all, who knows if the demons can imitate their hashira's using their demon arts and deceive the crows?
That would just be a huge disaster.
So that was why the trainers decided to use one of the more uncommon ways of identification, which was by scent.
But since Kiyomi was touched all over by Giyu when he tried to feel her pulse, he unintentionally left some of his scents on Kiyomi.
Coupled with Giyu's sword that hung on her waist, the crow mistakenly thought Kiyomi was Giyu.
If not for the fact that Giyu's crow was already very old, then perhaps this matter would not have happened.
But who told Giyu to become slightly attached to his crow and was not willing to replace it?
Though, if it weren't for Kiyomi to be kind enough to tell the crow to go to Kumotori mountain and wait for someone there, Giyu would've probably skinned the poor, old bird.
"Well, I also shouldn't bully the old bird. I'll give it some of my prized Frozen Midnight Tuna Onigiris."
Kiyomi decided to give the old bird of Giyu's some benefits. Her favorite and personally made Frozen Midnight Tuna Onigiris which was developed with Doma's ice.
Thinking of the onigiris that she hid in Doma's huge mansion, Kiyomi unconsciously secreted a lot of salivae.
"Hue hue~ Seems like I have to make a space device to store all of my snacks in the future. I can't keep going to Doma's mansion when I run out."
Wiping the saliva that was on the corner of her mouth, Kiyomi concentrated on her breathing to get the blood flow to move mostly to her legs.
Rushing out with a sonic boom, Kiyomi almost flew into the air.
"Sugoi~! No wonder the breath of lightning and the branches of it prioritize the training of their legs!! I'm almost freaking running in the air! Hahahah!!"
Feeling the thrill of being able to move so fast, Kiyomi wished to reach the headquarters and find Kanae for a very long conversation.
"Hey hey! Kanae, you little bugger! You better remember me! After all, you literally leeched onto my back for an entire day pestering me why I didn't burn in the sun and ate fish for food!"
Wherever Kiyomi went, a trail of debris and dust flew into the air.
...
Farmer: "... *Sigh* The sun is so horrible today! There hasn't been rain in a week!"
Looking into the air and seeing no dark clouds in sight, the farmer sighed once again.
Taking his eyes back onto the dying crops, the farmer caught sight of a huge dust cloud rushing towards him.
Almost scaring him to death the farmer kneeled onto the ground and cried: "Dear god! Why must you do this to me!? I have a family of four and I had to work very hard to go to the river every day to carry water back for the crops!"
Looking at the cloud of dust and debris, the farmer tried holding back his tears: "It was fine if it was just the lack of water! But why must you send down an army of locusts to eat my crops?!?!"
The farmer had mistaken the cloud of dust and debris for a massive army of Locusts, and he was bawling on the ground in despair.
And Kiyomi, who had already seen three farmers cry in despair when they saw her coming, couldn't help but ask herself: "Am I so scary???"
Stopping to confront the farmer, Kiyomi instantly braked in front of the farmer, and the cloud of dust and debris flew past her like a strong hurricane.
Holding tightly onto her fluttering haori to prevent it from flying away, Kiyomi put on her mask to prevent the specks of dust from getting into her eyes.
"Hey, you. Why are you crying on the ground?"
