Chapter 5 Meeting

Haku:"I see" he said frowning

demon:"A-are you going to let m-me go now"

Haku:"Of course"

*slash*

the demon's head was cut off

demon:"W-what ,w-why"

Haku:"I said I'd let you go ,i never said I'd leave this place, and you wouldn't be able to move with these limbs, so I'm helping you move ,like this" he said coldly

*Kick*

Haku kicked the demon's head ,the head slammed into a wall ,causing cracks to appear all over it

Haku:"Damn it" Haku grit his teeth so hard that they might break and clenched his fists to the point they started bleeding

Haku:"That bastard is here ,damn it, *inhale* *exhale*getting angry won't fix anything ,I'm still too weak to even touch him, i need to just train my breathing for now" Haku forced himself to calm down

and as the sun would rise soon he went to find a place to rest

so he went to an inn

in his room he began using the total concentration breathing constant and continued doing it until nighttime

Haku:"I guess it's time to go"

Haku went outside the inn and entered the crowds of people walking outside

walking around he heard a commotion and ran there as quickly as possible

there he found a boy pinning down a growling man

Haku:'That must be the other demon slayer that the crow mentioned'

Haku snapped out of his thoughts after hearing two word that the boy said

"Muzan kibitsuji!"

Haku didn't hear anything the boy said other than these two words

Haku quickly looked at where the boy was looking and saw a man with his daughter and wife walking away

Haku started following him

he saw Muzan putting his "wife and daughter" into a carriage so they can leave

then Muzan entered a back alley

Haku:'Damn it ,i can't follow him there or he'll be certain that I'm following him, I'm sure he already knows that I'm watching him, this is as far as i can go'

Haku said hiding his dissatisfaction to the best of his ability

and walked past the alley

Haku:'I have to see if anyone comes out of there...well it looks like Muzan brought company'

he saw two demons heading somewhere

Haku:'I need to see what they're looking for first'

Haku then started following them secretly

Haku:'that's quite a big house'

then one of the demons threw a temari at the house

a hole was made and the demon threw more temaris and hitting the head of one of the people inside blowing it up

Temari demon:"That's one down"

Haku:'Demons attacking demons huh, it seems like they're not on good terms with muzan, huh it's him again' he thought noticing Tanjiro

Tanjiro however was trying to dodge the temaris and nezuko went after the arrow demon , the temari demon grew 4 more arms

Tanjiro cuts the temaris after Nezuko attacks the arrow demon

the arrow demon throws Nezuko towards Tanjiro

then Tanjiro goes after the arrow demon

and Nezuko and Yushiro went after the temari demon but

"*breath of blood : third form : Red moon*"

an arc of blood appeared and chopped half of the temari demon's arms

Haku:"Im sorry but I'll be your opponent"

Yushiro:"Who are you and how did you get here!"

Haku:"Shouldn't you be worrying about something else" he said pointing towards where Tanjiro and the arrow demon fought

T.demon:"This'll be fun hehe"

Haku:"You're right, but not for you"

the temari demon threw temaris continuously

Haku dodged them while getting closer to the demon

but the closer he got to the demon the harder it was to dodge

the demon threw a temari at Haku's leg

Haku:'I have to jump over it'

Haku barely jumped over it unscathed but

T.demon:"Now you lose hehe"

the demon threw a temari at Haku while he was in the air

Haku:"Tch *Breath of blood : third form : Red moon*"

aiming at the ground ,Haku propelled himself above the temari and towards the demon

Haku:"*Second form : Crimson curse*"

Haku cut half of the demon's arms

Haku:'Damn it the angle was off'

T.demon:"W-why is my regeneration so slow , damn you!"

Then she threw three temaris at Haku but Haku dodges the temaries

Haku:"I feel like I'm gonna hear this a lot *Fourth form : Blood fiend*"

claws of blood appear as Haku slashes the demon's neck ,cutting it off

Haku:"well now that that's over, can i get some explanations"

he says putting his sword back in its sheath

Haku:"like why that woman is looking at me as if I'm a ghost"

Tamayo:"I'm sorry ,you reminded me of someone i knew long ago"

Haku:"It's okay, ,also you shouldn't be talking to me right now" he said pointing at Tanjiro supported by Yushiro

Tamayo:"Yes Yushiro take them inside"

Yushiro:"Yes Tamayo-sama , you get in"

Tamayo then uses a needle to get the blood of the temari demon

then she goes inside and starts explaining the situation to Haku

later after explaining and self introduction

Haku:"I see....i'll help you ,if it'll annoy that bastard Muzan even slightly"

Tamayo:"Thank you"

Haku:"Also the other demon slayer, how is he"

Tamayo:"he's okay he'll be coming out soon"

Haku:"ok I'll wait outside for him outside"

later outside

Haku:"You're finally here"

Tanjiro:"Yes!, I'm Tanjiro Kamado! ,Thank you for saving us!"

Haku:"I'm Haku Fuma"

Tanjiro:"I've seen you at the final selection before"

Haku:"Oh wait you were the one staring at me weren't you, why were you staring at me back then?"

Tanjiro:"I picked up the scent of a demon from you, so i thought you were trying to hurt the others but seeing you now i know you aren't evil"

Haku:"Thank you" he smiled

"I don't get compliments often" he continued

Tanjiro:"But why did i pick a demon's smell from you"

Haku:"Well it's because I'm... half demon half human...my mother was a demon that betrayed Muzan and my father was a demon slayer" he said reluctantly

Tanjiro:"I see ,they must've cared for each other a lot"

Haku:"Maybe you're right" he said with a sad look on his face
