Lucifer, who needed time to really return to a calm state, of course, made Jill who was in the barrier created by Lucifer, look restless from a long time ago. She couldn't even sit on the sofa inside the barrier.
Many times Jill seemed to exhale and also bite her fingernails.
"Don't worry, Miss, Mr. Lucifer is the strongest besides the god Adios, so you don't have to worry about him," Axel said, finally trying to speak to calm Jill.
Jill, who heard another name, of course, immediately turned her body to look at Axel.
"Who is the god Adios? Can I meet him so I can help L?" Jill asked with no fear from what she had just said.
Axel was silent. He was confused about how to explain it to Jill. Should he explain that the god Adios was Lucifer's father too? Or was he just revealing that God Adios currently held the highest position in his kingdom?
That's what silenced an Axel who didn't understand what he could say to Jill.
"Speak, I won't know the answer if you only speak with your mind. I'm not L who can read the minds of your people," Jill whispered impatiently with the answer that Axel would give.
Before Axel could answer, the barrier door opened and found Lucifer, who was now in front of the door.
Jill, who realized that her lover was waiting for her at the barrier door, of course immediately ran to hug Lucifer.
"Why have you been there for so long? It's been more than ten minutes," Jill whispered, still in her arms.
Lucifer was silent. He knew very well that he was guilty of what he did because, in fact, he did not use much time to get rid of Myles. It was just that he needed time to regulate his emotions so that he truly returned to the human form that Jill usually saw.
Knowing there was no response or a word from Lucifer, Jill immediately let go of her embrace and stared at Lucifer intently.
"You don't want to say anything to me?" Jill asked Lucifer with a deep look.
"Sorry, I wasn't on time."
'Is that all?' Jill whispered in her mind. 'Does he not intend to comfort me or something?' Jill continued quietly in her mind.
Axel, who saw his stiff boss, of course, could only roll his eyes lazily. If only he had previously helped him to get Lucifer deeper into human feelings, surely the response that Lucifer produced would be better than this.
'Sir, don't be stiff, try to tell her 'I'm sorry next time I won't do it again' while hugging her.'
'Are you sure?'
'Do it, Sir, before Miss Jill goes away from Master.'
'Goes away? Why?'
It felt like Axel wanted to curse his boss, who was too complicated and didn't believe him right away.
'This is the human world sir, do you not believe me?'
Hearing Axel's words that seemed to threaten him, Lucifer couldn't help but obey the young man's words.
Grip!
Lucifer immediately obeyed Axel's words.
"Sorry, next time, I won't do it again," Lucifer whispered to Jill, who was now in his arms.
Jill, whom she previously thought Lucifer didn't understand about what he should do about human feelings, of course, felt confused, and touched by it at the same time.
The girl blinked her eyes slowly and soon rested her head in Lucifer's embrace.
"I don't think you understand my feelings. That's why you just kept quiet without any response, or maybe you—"
Jill, who seemed to be able to read Lucifer's thoughts, immediately let go of her embrace and looked at Axel, who was not far from them.
Not wanting to be stared at by Jill for a long time, Axel immediately said goodbye to Lucifer and Jill.
"So?"
Jill tried to ask Lucifer what had just happened?
"Axel taught me, he said I was very stiff, and if I don't say it, you will avoid me. I don't understand why you will avoid me later, is what Axel taught me, right?"
Axel, who had come out of the barrier but not far from Lucifer and Jill, of course felt like cursing because his boss was too innocent and honest to the human girl he was destined to be with.
Jill burst out laughing for a moment. Just now, she was again realized by Lucifer that the young man in front of her was not a human like herself, but another creature.
"Is there something funny? Am I better laughing too?"
It didn't take long for Lucifer to join in laughing without knowing what was really going on.
Jill looked at Lucifer full of emotion. She did not expect that a young man of a different race to her could understand her so well. Does she not mind if it's true, she is destined with Lucifer, who is not human like her?
"L, there's something important I want to ask you," Jill said after looking satisfied Lucifer's handsome face in her eyes.
Lucifer quickly agreed with Jill's words, and of course, he immediately asked Jill what she wanted to ask him.
The girl didn't answer right away but pulled Lucifer's hand towards the sofa in the living room.
"Sit down," Jill said to Lucifer as she sat herself down on the sofa first.
"If you are destined to be with me later you will really move to the earth of the human world? Or am I into your world? And if you can live long and I can't, then you'll see me when I look old? Are you sure you will be able to live with me, who will grow old and ugly?"
Checkmate!
The question was too difficult for Lucifer, who to be honest, he did not know the exact answer.
He was still studying the various conjectures that existed. Even the God Adios had never told him about something like this, then how could he answer such an overly critical question?
That is now a brief thought in Lucifer's head.
A shake of Lucifer's head gave Jill. He didn't know anything about it!
"You don't have to think too far, and you take it easy. I will always be near you. To me, you are the prettiest, and it will never fade."
Jill took a deep breath. A feeling of disappointment welled up in her heart. But she felt a little moved by Lucifer's words that sounded sweet to her ears.
"Okay, I understand. If one day you know the answer, can you tell me?"
A quick nod Lucifer gave Jill.
'Ah, he really doesn't know it. I think he's lying and processing my questions.'
