Chapter two : worries,demon,missing

Days change to weeks, weeks into months, months into years, my parents are yet to come back, I later found out I had no grandparents, my parents lied to me, I was broken, why would they lie to me? What is the reason behind their sudden disappearance?

But I still keep hoping that one day my parents will come back to me.

I turned eighteen still hoping, until I was crowned the emperor, I got responsibilities now, that day I called uncle Alan for questioning, he might have an answer to my questions.

Right now, I don't know whether I should call him uncle or general because he is like an uncle to me, but he is the general of the army and my dad's advisor but now my advisor.

"Uncle Alan, I have a question to ask you," I started staring at him, whose face was expressionless.

"I'm listening," he replied quietly.

"Do you know the mystery behind my parents' disappearance, I asked?"

He looked shocked like he wasn't expecting that question from me but quickly changed his expression.

"I'm sorry your majesty, I know nothing about it," he replied with his head bowing."

"But you were very close to my parents, at least they would have given you a hint or even asked for your advice," I said, doubting him.

"Yes, I was, but your parents never told me about their journey," he said as I turned my back to him.

"You can leave," I said as I heard him walk away.

I went into my room, I stayed there for hours missing my parents once it was 12:00am I felt something, I wasn't myself anymore.

I became blood tasty, I needed blood!

The demons in him only manifest at night, so that night the demon in him was blood tasty, his claws and fangs grew, his eyes as red as blood and blood flow down his eyes and ears.

Someone came in, an unlucky being, it was one of the maids she came with his food and clothes.

"Dinner is ready, so tasty."

Before a twinkle of an eye, he grabbed the maid and feasted on her, she was his delicious dinner.

The next morning, Emperor Vishnu woke up and saw bones, blood and little flesh on the floor, he was so broken, he cried, it was the demon again, poor emperor, should I say rich but right now, he is helplessly poor.

He quickly cleared the mess and cleaned up so no one would notice, he took his bath, wore his robe and went out.

"Where is Kelly, ?" ken, one of the palace guards, asked.

"I don't know, the last time I saw her was yesterday when she was going to the emperor's room," Pat said.

"It becomes really strange how people all of a sudden get missing these days, especially the maids," Jesse bemoaned

"Now Kelly is missing," Pat bemoaned painfully

"Is breakfast set?" ken asked

"Yeah, Lara and the others did that already."

"So, where is mine ?" ken asked.

"Oh, I will order Tina bring it for you, I have to leave now," Pat said as she left.

Ken sat down thinking about the sudden disappearance of maids in the palace.

"Something is really fishy about all this, and I have to find out,"ken thought.
