Ch.2 There's More to the World

Thalia's POV-

It was the day that we all were leaving camp to head to this mystical building filled with witches and wizards. Reyna was waiting for me to finish getting packed since I didn't do it yesterday. Reyna and I have gotten pretty close after the war, she didn't become a huntress, but Artemis made an exception to let her hang with us. Artemis really liked Reyna, but I mean who couldn't. Reyna was strong, smart, she doesn't take any shit from anybody, she was a great asset in the hunt. I picked my bag off the ground and we started to head to the Big House.

In front of the big house stood Percy and Annabeth, Annabeth probably rushed them out because that is what Annabeth does. Standing next to Annabeth was Nico, we also became close this summer. Reyna went up a little faster and greeted the three of them.

"Good morning guys. How did you sleep?" Reyna asked the group.

"I barely slept, Percy took forever to pack his stuff and kept tossing and turning all night." Annabeth spoke out, making Percy blush.

"Thalia had woken me up early by accident, she ended up dropping something when she was packing, because she didn't pack last night." She said sending a wink my way, making my cheeks start to burn.

"Wait Reyna, you slept with Thalia in the Zeus cabin?" Percy questioned us.

"Yeah, we are used to it, Reyna hung out with us in the hunt and we shared a tent." I answered Percy's question. Before anyone could say anything else the twins arrived, followed by Piper and Jason. Now we are just waiting for Frank and Hazel to get here, and for Hecate to give us some magic.

After a bit of waiting around, sometime during it Frank and Hazel came up, Hecate shows up with Chiron behind her. They both greet us and Hecate goes to touch each one of our foreheads with her thumb. When she got to me there was this cold current going through my body. It hurt me a little but I wasn't going to show it, I was strong. She got to everybody and took a step back making she sure could see all of us.

"Hogwarts is a magical place, you are there to make alliances for the sole purpose of the inevitable doom of humankind. Think of this as an undercover mission, before you get to the school you will stay a week in a small town hidden in London. There you will get all the supplies that are necessary for your basic survival, there is also a vault with the money that you will need, there should be plenty from basic necessities and some. The week you spend there you should be studying and getting accustomed to life over there. Good luck young demigods, the fate of the human world rests in your shoulders."

"Does this mean we have to go to actual classes, like regular school?" Nico asked Hecate.

"Hogwarts is nothing like regular school." She starts to shoo us into the big house. "Gather around the fireplace please." she waited until everyone calmed down before continuing. "Okay so you will be traveling by floo powder, all you have to do is stand in the fireplace, take a handful of this powder, throw it on the ground and repeat the place that you want to go. Annunciation is key so repeat after me, Diagon Alley."

After a while of learning the proper annunciation so we don't get blown off somewhere where nobody could find us, she told us that someone would be waiting for us, and that we'd know who it is when we see them. She started giving us our final instructions making sure we all know what we are doing and then she gets us to line up near the fireplace.

Nico got pushed into going first, he didn't like it though. He stepped into the fireplace, ducking as to not hit himself on the top of his head and grabbed a handful of the powder, that looks suspiciously like ashes, no one's going to point that out, no okay, moving on. He said what we have all been told to say and threw the powder on the ground. There was a flash of green fire and then he was gone. We all stood there shocked, no one wanted to go next, knowing that they were going to end up being eaten by a green flame, who in there right mind would volunteer to do that.

After a while of everyone standing still Reyna got up and headed to the fireplace. "My gods, where all demigods we've done stuff scarier than this, get a grip." She then grabbed a handful of powder and did the thing where she vanished.

After Reyna's little wake up speech everybody started getting the spirits up and started passing. Annabeth, Hazel, Percy, Jason, and Piper, in that order, went through before it was my turn. The fire itself wasn't hot, it just tickled. When I opened my eyes I was in a crowded street looking as everyone passed me without giving it a second glance.

I went looking for my friend group, I couldn't find where they went off to, I took a step forward but was stopped when someone appeared in front of me. It was one of the Stoll twins. "Hey Stoll, where is your brother? I thought you traveled in packs."

"Haha, Travis and I couldn't travel through floo together, trust me he tried."

"Ahh, okay Connor, that doesn't help you with my previous statement."

"Yeah whatever." He said rolling his eyes, he grabbed my arm and started pulling me somewhere, which I realized was where my friends were waiting. Everyone just stood there as we waited for the rest of the group to appear. Frank and Travis arrived soon after and that led us to find the person who was supposed to be waiting for us.
