"The Fifth Dimension"
Viole and Tony returned to the Fifth Dimension, the sacred realm where the defenders orchestrated their roles in the grand tapestry of time. In this enigmatic domain, the defenders were categorized into two distinct types. The first were the "Ales," distinguishable by their formidable black formal suits. These elite defenders were created by the ethereal higher entities, beings devoid of identity or physical form. Their purpose was to forge the defenders and uphold the delicate balance of existence. The "Ales" derived their power from a collection of "time remains" extracted from periods of prosperity. Their growth and mastery over their abilities surpassed that of the second type—the "Comun." Clad in pristine white formal attire, the "Comun" emanated a different essence altogether. They were formed from the "time remains" harvested from troubled epochs, and while their progress was not as swift as their "Ales" counterparts, their strength steadily advanced.
The defenders had a lifespan limited to eighty years, but those who demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication could ascend to the revered ranks of the elite squad. This promotion bestowed upon them an extended lifespan of two hundred years, their visage remaining unchanged from the moment of their promotion.
To safeguard the sanctity of the timeline, the defenders wielded their unique time abilities, which manifested in three distinct forms. The first encompassed offensive capabilities, allowing them to materialize weapons in their hands with devastating effect. The second focused on defense, enabling them to create impenetrable barriers that shielded their bodies from harm. The third entailed a complex form of manipulation, requiring a profound level of intellect. This encompassed incredible speed, telekinesis, and the extraction of "time remains" from others. Certain exceptional defenders possessed abilities beyond the comprehension of their peers—a divine gift bestowed upon them by the higher entities. Such gifts were granted solely at the whims of these enigmatic beings, dependent upon their fondness for a particular defender and their desire to bestow a unique talent.
As Viole proceeded to submit the report of their recent mission, Tony patiently awaited his colleague's return. A fellow defender summoned them, announcing the request of Captain Zector for their presence at the council table.
"Defender Viole! Captain Zector awaits your presence, along with defender Tony, at the table," the messenger conveyed.
Viole acknowledged the call, his expression stoic as ever. Motioning for Tony to accompany him, he spoke in his characteristic monotone voice, "Let's go, Tony."
Together, Viole and Tony made their way towards the council chamber. Moments later, the grand doors swung open, revealing the esteemed gathering of the highest-ranking Ales defenders. Arrayed around a massive table, this assembly was led by the authoritative figure of Captain Zector. To his left sat defenders Yor and Gantlik, while Roger occupied a seat on his right. Viole and Tony settled into their designated chairs, ready to partake in the weighty discussions that lay ahead.
"Now, let us commence this meeting, shall we?" Captain Zector declared, his voice resonating with a blend of gravitas and purpose.
