13.24 Progress and .. losses
Engine on full throttle, a black car drives into the council's driveway, and harshly pulls over in a corner. The silhouette inside shuffles and the light from their phone brings his livid face to view, eerily matching the evening shadows. He slams his hand against the wheel, punishing it unnecessarily, and turns his gaze to the council building. Waiting for something to happen; his mind was too rash to think of performing on his own.
"Fucking moron." Shu XinYi cursed under his breath and walked out from a corner as if he was completely unaware of the car. This was his final act, after all; he wouldn't mess it up.
The old couple greeted him, and he showed his lab ID to gain entrance. Inside, he walked over to the artifact hall and found the newly added vial hologram. It awfully resembled the one he was clutching in his pocket since it was, of course. But others were no different either.
